Sadly, not worth the time. The greeters are super nice and helpful but it ends there. The store is small so they don’t carry all the product lines like their larger stores. No one is around to help with sampling making it impossible to try a color. Lastly they’re always out of the “popular” colors. I’ll just drive an extra mile or two to another store.

The staff was friendly and tried to help but the collection of products is not very wide. Many of the try-on products are not true to shade because they change colors due to being out for so long. Need to be replaced more often.

Worst quality control ever. They gave me a foundation that had already expired 3m ago in store. And when I noticed it they didn’t apologize and placed an online order, which arrived with only 2m before expiration. You could simply put something out of stock, but trying fooling and cheating with customer is inexcusable.

Was greeted nicely upon entry but the cashier was very dismissive of me as a customer. He never told me how many points I had without having to ask. He also didn’t offer me a chance to purchase a bag for my items, he just slid it back to me under the plastic cage and moved on to the next customer.

Great customer service and covid precautions during this time. Manny, one of the sales rep was very helpful and answered my many questions. The cashiers were cleaning the counter after every transaction. Made for a very enjoyable and safe retail therapy.

The store closed before 8pm on Saturday, 2/17, which both Google and their phone line report as the closing time. I arrived at 7:45 pm to find that the store was closed.

During the covid-19 crisis, this store is very keen on following social distancing and sanitation guidelines, ensuring all customers sanitize hands, wear masks, and know to social distance before they enter the store.ive visited this location several times and have mixed experiences each time. depending on who i interact with, service here is either ok, good, or terrible. most of the employees do a fine job of being respectful, but almost half the time i run into someone who is maybe tired but simply doesnt seem to be in the mood to be helpful or attentive at checkout.that being said, i have had decent experiences with the advisors on the floor and with tricky situations with special promotions, returns, etc. requiring routine escalation at the register.the store is huge and spacious so its perfect to browse in, but service doesnt seem to be attentive at this location. emeryville is smaller but ive had somewhat better experience there so far. or just order online :(

Every single employee I came across in this store today had a horrible attitude! It was like they couldnt be bothered to help me or even ring me up for that matter. Definitely wont be coming back to this location, Id rather travel the extra distance to shop where the employees are nice and helpful.

First time walking into this store and from the jump it was such a terrible experience. I am a manager for retail so I know what the expectations are for customer service. I was not greeted by the person at the door, he looked my way but did not bother to ask what I needed or what I was looking for. I tried making eye contact to see if he would bother to help me, but he just continues to acknowledge everyone else but me. I felt so discriminated and left out that I would not step foot in that store again. The representatives name was Angel. Such a terrible experience!

So i had been in this location twice already asking for sample of their fragrance and they number the samples wrong and like i have 2 samples with labels a and two other with label b. The same thing happened to my fiancé too. I wish they would pay more attention and care more about what they are doing this really is annoying.

This is a good Sephora in a convenient location. The employees are also very polite and helpful. I couldn’t have asked for more. Theres a large selection of foundations, blushes, lipsticks, lipglosses, eyeshadow palettes, false lashes, eye liners, lip liners, mens and womens perfumes, skin care, beauty blenders, makeup remover, and other goodies. Theres even a little screen here called Sephora Virtual Artist. Ive never seen it at any other location, but basically it has a camera and lets you digitally see what different makeup would look like on you.

Welcome to Sephora Berkeley. Great location at the old Crate and Barrel Outlet location next to the Amazon store. All services available... Beautiful location next to food and other retailers. Much upgraded from the Emeryville store.Only issue might be parking but it is going to be that way for the area.The advisors are all friendly and knowledgeable and the checkout was quick. Love the experience.

Decent stock and theyve cleaned the place up a bit since I was there months ago (when it was downright gross). Accepting assistance from any of the experts is hit or miss. One young woman asked if needed help finding anything so I told her what I was looking for. She asked another staff member and then told me they dont cary anything like that. Later on another woman offered me help and she miraculously lead me to exactly the type of product I was looking and wound up purchasing so I was happy about that. Side note, the tall curly top dude at checkout, with enough apathy to choke a horse, cant wait to show you how little cares for you, running over me on script (which by now is rote for him) without once looking me in the face and making sure I noticed. Have a nice day. Im impressed by how jaded you are dear.
