Very nice and professional staff.Customer Service rep Rachel was very professional and returned phone calls as she said she would. A Transmission was put in my sons mustang and the stated that it runs like new. Mr. Gary was outstanding. I would recommend to anyone.

I had a clutch kit replaced on my vehicle. Mid-State did a great job as far as replacing the clutch. I give them a score of 8 on the time spent working on the car since they held it for 12 days on a job that only requires 5 hours to complete, and they forgot to put everything else other than the clutch back together.When I got it back, I had a plethora of system lights come on. The abs control, hillside assist stopped working altogether. Also, my rearview camera stopped engaging while in reverse.The dealership I bought the vehicle from said that it wasnt covered in the service contract so it couldnt get fixed. I finally took it up to the official dealership and had it fixed on my own coin.I understand that Mid-State was not responsible for what is on the dealers service contract. My concern is that if you are going to take something apart, make sure you put it all back together when you are finished. Its the right thing to do.

When you have this kind of problem, this is where you want to go. Sometimes things go wrong with very complex things like a transmission. Gary knows what he is doing! Sometimes things arent perfect. When they arent, he works to make it that way. You will be treated fair. Probably better than fair as in excellent. This business is good people! Highly recommend!

Idk how to feel about this place. Car mart of bryant sends my car here for repairs. Its been here 3 times I know for sure, every single time Ive picked it up I havent had any gas in my car. Not sure whats going on but I know for a fact Ive had gas each time its been picked up. Also I do not believe theyve fixed what they said they were fixing. My cat has been performing worse since Ive picked it back up

I highly recommend this auto shop. I actually just googled transmission shops in the area and this one came up within the top 5. I gave them a call and my vehicle was there before the day was up.The shop kept in contact with my insurance company and got them everything that they requested.All the work was done in a timely manner. Everyone was/is always courteous and professional. I havent had an issue with my car since I got it back 4 weeks ago. They replaced my transmission as well as the control panel inside the car that operates my AC.Id most definitely utilize their services again.

Driving across country, I broke down near this shop. Even though they were completely booked for the day, they still went the extra mile to check out the car and fix it in the same day so I could get back on the road. Honest with prices, reliable work seeing as I got back home same, cute office dog and very friendly people. Would absolutely recommend!!!

They rebuilt my transmission, I got a 3 year or 36,000 mile warranty and they came highly recommend to me. It took longer than I thought it would, but Id rather have it done right than rushed and it happens again. They asked me to bring it back in two weeks when it wasnt raining and let them check to be sure all is tight & no leaks.. Friendly, seems like they did a great job. I go back I hope next week to see.

Yes, the staff is friendly. But I brought my vehicle to them because I was referred to them from another auto repair business since they do not service transmissions. I had already got the code that my vehicle had a 2ND transmission oil circuit/sensor was the issue due to the pressure was reading high. Gary stated that water might have gotten in my transmission or had a faulty radiator. He said the fluid was a strawberry milkshake color which means that water got in my transmission while he stated that one of his employees states that my vehicle was driving well and it did. He told me he would rebuild my transmission and replace the radiator for $2200 sounds like a fair price and I was okay with the price. I took it to the dealer for a second opinion since Gary said flushing the transmission and radiator would be the waste of money. The dealer stated that my transmission fluid was gray which means it has not been change. And all that was wrong with my vehicle is that the fluids needed to be change and the 2ND transmission oil pressure sensor was bad which it save me $1600 and the repairs that Gary stated I needed was false and the service that he recommended was not needed to be rendered. My transmission is fine and radiator as well. I respect the person for referring me but I will not recommend this business to get over on a person who would paid for the service. Gary needs to be truth to customers who brings their vehicle to his business.

Our Buick Enclave broke down on the side of the road while we were traveling out of town on vacation. The SUV was towed to this shop to be fixed. We rented a car and left to finish out the vacation. We picked up our SUV when our vacation was over and went home to Illinois. The transmission went out again. This shop paid over $600 and had it towed back to Arkansas and fixed the issue. The part was faulty. The customer service was OUTSTANDING! This shops customer service and quality of work speaks highly in they way they treat their customers and the work they do on your car. . If you are having any issues with your car or SUV give this shop a call. You WILL NOT regret it.

Took my car in they drove it told me there was nothing wrong with my transmission but the transmission is skipping and hopping all over the place so I took it to another transmission shop they said the transmission was bad you tell me whats going on so who do who do who do you believe

We have had the best experience having them fix my sons car! They were always keeping us up to speed with what they were doing. Making sure it was correct and we were happy with the job!! Also they are all nicest people!! My family will continue to use them!

We were thoroughly prepared for catastrophic/expensive transmission work and it turned out to be a bad wire. These honest folks found it and fixed it fast. I dont review things ever, but thought I should take a minute to call out the honest treatment we received at Mid-State. Highly recommend.

Some years back, I had a beautiful Pontiac Grand Prix GXP. The transmission appeared to be going out so I took it to Mid-state.Supposedly they looked at the transmission and nothing was wrong, but not before they found 2,000 dollars worth of other work.So I paid the 2,000, picked it up, and within a day, I received confirmation that the transmission had definitely gone out.Called them back, said they’d look at it and wouldn’t charge me. Got another call back and was told they didn’t pull the transmission and they’d had to charge me.Needless to say, I was able to keep the vehicle after paying them 2k for things I didn’t go in for. Could not afford to pay another 2k for something that should have been fixed in the first place.I’m deeply saddened regularly because I was referred there by a good friend, and constantly reminded by my son who misses “that really fast car”.If anyone ever asked me, I’ll make sure I let them know my horrible, horrible experience. I will definitely not refer ANYONE there, not even my worst enemy if I had one.

First class service. This is not your typical local transmission shop that will throw parts at a problem hoping if they replace enough parts they will fix it. These guys really know their stuff and actually diagnose the issue before performing any work. Very professional; very friendly.
