Overpriced and wouldnt budge on used items unless I were to allow myself to be ripped off of my own used electronics as trade. If the markup was modest...I would never say this, but that is not the case. I suggest going to Topps for used games. Its a mile or so from scamstop (GameStop). They do however allow a small deposit for preorders tho, which is why they get two stars and not zero.

They employee was helpful in providing prices and answering questions about gaming consoles. Provided all information we needed when looking for the best deal. Unfortunately I do advise looking around depending on what you are searching for. They have some great prices on used games and used/refurbished consoles. But controllers seemed to be a bit overpriced and new games are about the same as most other places.

I pre-ordered a game through them - it is now 5 days past release date and I still dont have it. Also either the phone number is wrong, or no one cares to answer the phone during business hours.

Better selection of used games compared to the Michigan city store.

Not a place for kids.. Reason I say this is because they made a business of practically stealing kids video games and consoles. Return policy on used games is best part of Gamestop.

The people are good, but the company sucks. Got a 40 dollar game what mislead me into what it was, and I wanted a refund. The game was within 24hrs with receipt and the best they can do is give me 5 dollars. Ive been practically scammed.

A great place to buy video games. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff that are always willing to help you. They also accept trade ins of video game and video game systems, so you can buy the latest games used to save money. They also carry Think Geek products which are all awesome and Ive been a customer there for years as well. If you join their rewards program you can earn more money on your trades and get discounts on used games as well. GameStop also gets lots of exclusive items from in game items for pre ordering, to exclusive collectibles.

Over priced they pay you two dollars for your game sell used ones for 35 dollars so I went to Wal-Mart and bought a newer version for 26 dollars

Its Gamestop. Its a last resort. I would try Topps first.Edit: Everytime I buy here I get hit up for some additional purchase. I bought a game last week when, a store manager who I will not publicly name, claims I could get a gift card if i purchase the proaccount. I do it and they dont give me one. Well that never happened. So, neither will me returning here.I know that corporate is what makes this place terrible. I know everyone who works here is under great pressure to produce results, but this is unacceptable practice to lie regarding purchases.I will sooner make my own videogames than buy them from here.

This is place stunk so bad it was unbearable i had to leave almost didnt get to see if they had the game i wanted used...they did not but i wouldnt have been able to stand there for very long considering im sick now even after walking out thanks for nothing terrible dont go here

I went in asking questions about different game systems and the prices on them. The employee was very helpful and gave us all the information I needed.

This is my Freindly local game store of choice. They have a massive selection of board games, a big game room, and there miniatures selection is ever growing. I have been running a D&D game there for over a year for my kids and their freinds.

The new manager Austin 2.0 is awful. He tried to steal a kindle from my husband and now he refuses to talk to my husband or I whenever we are in the store. He took multiple smoke breaks in the 30 minutes we were in the store. I have been coming here for literally decades and I dont appreciate being treated this way. My husband may choose to be the bigger person but I refuse to come here until Austin 2.0 is removed from management. Goodbye GameStop. It was a good run.

I see a ton a reviews about broken games but if the read the back of the reciept it shows that you can return defective games within 30 days for a replacement. Ive used that policy hundreds of times. Ive been a loyal gamestop customer for years and will continue to be.

Good prices but unfortunately it is a game graveyard. They toss anything older than the Wii. Their employees dont know much about most of the games either.

I was not given all the information for the power-up play rewards program. The guy named John I believe conpletely left out the specifics about the buy two get one free program. Never told me I dont choose what game also never told me it was of equal or less value. When I came in to buy my games I was then told about that and then told it is general knowledge to know how there program runs and every retail store does it that way. I am a department manager at wal-mart so I know that is not true. And policy is clearly defined at all times even if hurtful to the store. I left and now I see why people go to the local competitor topps trading center and refuse to step foot in game stop I should have stayed loyal to topps.

Me personally I think they are a little to high and thats just my take on it
