Bought a SUP from them last year through Costco and loved it. Theyre no longer selling their boards through Costco, so I had to buy directly from them. Full disclosure: we used a gift certificate. That said, their rates were very agreeable. The entire process of renting was fast and stress free. They showed us how to use the car mounting equipment in probably under 5 minutes. After we got our boards we were on our way to some great adventures around the Deschutes Forest. Great time, good people, and we will be back again for Stand on Liquids services.

They helped me get through all the confusion about what to buy and helped find the perfect board. It was out of stock so I had to pre order but the communication was great, they kept me up-to-date, and the board arrived just when they said.

Stand on Liquid is the whole package. I was able to view board reviews, ask questions about boards that were not the SOL brand and get honest feedback, get input on their boards and my plans to paddle. I drove 6 hours to pick up this board for two reasons - no taxes and to meet the folks at SOL. Pat even took the time to show me the basics of how to size a paddle, what direction the paddle is held, proper rowing technique and how to get on and off the board!

Rob et al. rock! Bought an SOL board and had it shipped to me in Tri-Cities. Rob helped confirm my choice and shipped the board out directly. I had a problem with my pump (no fault of theirs) and they took care of it right away! Couldn’t be more stoked - thank you Stand on Liquid!!

Unfortunately, I must amend my review upon receipt of my product.Before I purchased my board I spoke with Patrick. He confirmed in writing that I would be receiving the Sol Shine 2018/19 board, with the sun rays on the deck. The advertisement on the website also showed a photo of the 2018/19 board and listed that it would come with a fiberglass paddle.When I received my product I received a 2017 board and an aluminum paddle. It appeared very haphazardly thrown in to a box. The Shine was in a paddle bag for the Sol Train.I have reached out to have this situation remedied and will be happy to update this review after information is received from the company. In the meantime, I am very frustrated that I did not receive the product I saw on the website and received confirmation that I would receive.

Great place to rent a SUP (or 2) for the day! Paid 70 for two boards for 4-hours each. Not super cheap, but on the cheaper end for Bend rentals. Took them up to Sparks Lake at the recommendation of staff, which was a wonderful place to paddle. Very friendly people! Quick service, easy process, and awesome quality of rental boards.

SOL is simply the best! Yes, they offer the best quality SUP boards in town at the best price, but more than that its the care and attention they give to first time SUPers like me. I was new to the sport and they made me feel stable and secure on my board (spending lots of time to make sure that I was on the SUP that was right for me), and even offered detailed tips on how to paddle. Side stroke, back paddle, sweep stroke, who knew there were so many options?! Not me. The people at SOL are obviously passionate about the sport and dont mind sharing their love of paddling with others. Ive definitely caught the SUP bug and cant wait to buy a board from them next season. Thanks for the help and fun. Ill be back...

On April 30, I purchased a high end Naish paddle from Stand on Liquid. On July 5, the paddle snapped mid shaft during paddling into waves. The crew at Stand on Liquid helped me get through the Naish warranty process and I am going to have a new replacement paddle sent. Thanks Q, Amanda, and Patrick.

Absolutely love this place! I got a Pau Hana Angler during the winter sale (10% off) and an AMAZING 400$ paddle that had a slight ding on it from shipping for 200$! My wife just picked up one of their Samamish boards that got a little dinged up during shipping and professionally repaired, and got a killer deal on that too. Grant and Q are great salesmen that get you what you need in your budget. Although their online store is great, I highly recommend you come in and check their stock out in person so you dont miss any deals or hidden gems!

Took a a COCC class with an instructor from Stand on Liquid and had a truly horrendous experience that completely tainted my view of the company. I started the class and loved it. I was ready to buy a board from SOL. I definitely learned how to paddle board and enjoyed myself until the last day that I attended class. My energy levels dropped and for the first time in the 5 weeks I couldnt keep up. Other students were also having trouble. The instructor left us half a mile behind and berated us when we finally caught up she acted entirely unprofessional. She called me out of shape, overweight and lazy in front of other students!! I was overweight, but thats not something you yell your student who is just beginning their fitness journey and trying their hardest.Most days I was at the front of the group and had no trouble. Ive also lost 20 pounds since this degrading and horrific experience. So if that is what being lazy is about then she was right. But really I just think she was a bully and a bad instructor. I decided to take my business elsewhere.

Paddle board arrived damaged. Contacted Customer Service to find out my options. The only option offered was for me to pay $350 shipping to return the board and 10% restocking fee. I have a new board with a dent and crack. Very disappointed.
