I asked for assistance in finding kitchen organizers this evening in the Bend, Oregon store. The consultant was out, but a man by the name of Christopher walked me through departments, showing me what was available. He then made an appointment for me to come back and get help getting exactly what I needed from the department consultant. He went out of his way to provide exceptional customer service!On the way out of the store, Jasmine asked me if I had found what I needed. I explained that I had received great service from Christopher. She asked thoughtful questions to make sure that I was leaving COSTCO satisfied with the service. She, too, provided great service.Earlier, I had been to another Big Box store. One associate, Brad, in the lumber department, gave me exceptional service. The woman in kitchen planning-same store-was indifferent. Customer Service matters.In yet another big box store, famous for household items, there was no attempt to assist me at all.Thank you, Christopher and Jasmine at Home Depot! I am especially grateful because I have just moved here. Moving is tough. Customer Service is so appreciated.

It’s a Costco. Great prices on bulk and specialty goods, but requires a membership which can pay for itself after a few big purchases.They were very responsive during the pandemic, completely overhauling their food court ordering and checkout process.I’ve had a few issues where their online inventory doesn’t match their in-store inventory, usually not being updated until after items have been sold out for a week. It’s made a few shopping trips take longer than usual, but the staff is really helpful and always points me in the right direction.

We love Costco! But most importantly every time we go all the employees are so helpful, kind and just plain happy. From all of our groceries to house hold goods they have it all. Save an additional four percent per purchase, two percent with an executive membership and an additional two percent with a Costco VISA. If you find that an item that you purchased goes on sale within 30 days, they will honor a price reduction. Patiently wait in customer service line and let them know. They will put the difference back on the card you made the purchase with. It’s never a hassle. We now follow Costco deals on Instagram to learn more about their upcoming deals. If you have heavy items you need help loading just let them know at the front door. They will let you park your vehicle close by and help you load them up safely.

Costco is a super convenient place to shop for bulk items! Very fair prices and a wide variety of products I use everyday. Also I believe the employees name was Kevin K., he is super helpful and I could tell he genuinely wanted to help me locate a product I couldnt find. Love this place.

The staff are always super helpful whenever I ask where an item is, the place is always very clean, usually well stocked (I see them working very hard to keep things stocked), and the lines are usually not too long! The only thing I could nitpick is that some of the boxers (staff that put customers items in boxes at checkout) dont always listen when asked to box all the stuff I put on the belt (occasionally theyll only give me 1 box for 2 boxes worth of items, and then i have to go hunt down another box). But that some of the boxers, others are wonderful and box everything perfectly, I really appreciate those that do take the time and effort to box things! 💖 Anyways, Ill def be coming back to this location!!

I brought my 92 yrs old friend, in to pick up glasses she ordered less than a week ago. She was very pleased. I was able to find some beautiful fresh salmon and cod😀. Check out was a breeze. She also loved the convenience of the electric cart.One of the workers was right there at our vehicle when we left offering to return the cart for us!A great visit 😎

Love this Store. Costco - is my happy place! Always friendly, always efficient and always fresh produce. Sea food and meat department are also amazing. I shop here at least once a month.

Lots of great items for a lot less. During these times, prices are rising. Savings on nuts was a plus. Running out on organic cane sugar was a bummer. We feed our humming birds all year long.

To me, if you have a family and the means, get a Costco membership. Its crazy how much you can get here for a lower price because they are relying in those people who get the membership and rarely shop here. If you dont have a family or dont live close enough to shop here regularly, its up to you if its worth it. I personally dont have a membership because I dont live near one and Im on my own, but sometimes my parents let me tag along and, like I said, its impressive. If you are a fan of sweet muffins, this is the place to get them. If you go through 3 boxes of cereal every couple weeks, welcome to your restock location. If you cook the same meal regularly, heres the opportunity to save some money.Things to be wary of:The store is built, as most big stores are, to make you wander.The expensive TVs up front make you much more appreciative of the deals ahead.Things that you most likely need are scattered amongst things you might want but nobody ever comes there for.So just be mindful and make a list that you can stick to beforehand if youre on a budget and would like to avoid overspending.

What can I say. It is Costco and Ive been a fan for decades. Any organization that treats its staff well, its customers well and provides good products at a fair and discounted price is okfine in my book. I time my visits between 3pm and 6pm to avoid the greater crowds. I believe Costco makes every effort to offer quality products. It is about the only place I purchase meat. I trust their sourcing

The lowest shelf life on produce, half the time produce goes bad in few days. Potatoes I got a week ago are half rotten, other potatoes crack when you try to bend them, I tried to bend them cause they soft and flexible, just as potatoshould be. I dont know if its a frost issue theyve been through? I dont complain about things like that cause its only few $, but its getting ridiculous. They are just an outlet for old food. So you get that 1999 stuff still. Horrible, shut it down.

Quick trip...in and out in less than 20 minutes. You should really rethink locations. Parking lot is way too small. Maybe look at some of the vacant property in between Bend and Redmond

Always happy with shopping or getting RXs at Costco. Staff pleasant & professional. My only possible gripe is the food court doesnt offer the combination pizza anymore, just plain cheese or pepperoni.

While picking up a few items I needed, I saw an item I had recently purchased, now on sale and decided to get a price adjustment after checking out. I was told I needed the original receipt for a price adjustment and then rudely schooled on their new policy. I mentioned that I don’t carry my Costco receipts in my purse for 30 days and questioned when this policy started. I was told it was ALWAYS their policy and they were now going to enforce it. I replied I thought that was ridiculous and felt very singled out. It was then explained to me that people abuse the system and I was then made to feel as if that is what I was doing! This was the FIRST time I had ever used this courtesy, as my fiancé is the one who shops here most often and he has made adjustments previously. There were no less than 4 employees who made me feel terrible by insinuating I was a criminal and interrogating me with questions about my purchase. The manager was called and it became a scene, all I wanted was this policy in writing in order to confirm I wasn’t being singled out. (I was told it was in writing several times.) After almost breaking down in tears in front of onlookers who were wondering what the confrontation was about, I was finally told there is no policy in writing. I am humiliated. What should have been a simple, courteous transaction felt much more like alienation. One employee actually told me that she was frustrated and people are frustrated and taking it out on each other, after I mentioned it felt like a much different customer service experience in Costco than Ive had.I can’t begin to explain my anxiety over just thinking about shopping here again. I felt personally attacked and was treated so disrespectfully. Very embarrassing. Am I not allowed to have the same courtesy as other customers? I felt singled out. And now I feel like I should share this experience as to forewarn others regarding their price adjustment “policy.”☹️☹️☹️Edit. Two days later I received an experience feedback survey in the mail. Oh boy.

Costco in BEND is excellent. Always helpful. Might take a minute or two to find someone to help you. But, once you do there yours until you are satisfied. Employees are funny, helpful. Would, and, always go back to shop there.

Today was very, very busy. With the growth of Bend we could easily support 2 Costcos. We have Bend,LaPine,Redmond John Day, Madras and plus to support 2 Costco stores in Bend. Or, perhaps Redmond needs a Costco. Bend itself could keep Costco busy with the population growth within the last 4 yrs. Time for Costco to take action.

Crazy busy again.The area could really use another Costco or at least a remodel.This store has been serving the area for over 20 years, population has more then doubled, just getting a little to crowded.

It’s Costco. The prices are very expensive for a person of 1 or 2 as the items are so large they will go bad (fruit) before you can eat them. At least in my household. Sure you can get a great deal on toilet paper but when you have to pay for the yearly right to shop there you might as well just buy you paper from Walmart or Amazon or any other store. And the check out process with the cashier is awful as they scan so fast (which is cool) they don’t have time for a conversation with you (which can be nice sometimes) but they do have time to speak to the person who is tossing your items into a big box or back into your cart. I’ll tell you I just prefer a regular store then to this over hyped place. You can get good prices on travel before COVID era but right now I have not looked it travel.

If you belong to Costco, youll really enjoy the Bend, OR version...great folks and terrific prices, but the only Costco for a town with over 91K residents...enjoy!

Great place to get stocked up and great deals

We go once a month to buy a months worth of food cuz we live 2hrs away. For over a year, they have been slammed! Only a few registers open & over a 10 minute wait in line. They have plenty of employees walking around, when its that busy they should have more registers open. So needless to say, we do have to go there, wish we didnt. Been sold out of sooo many items, they should get a larger delivery knowing that the demand is high. But I dont know how much is in the wear house. So that may not be possible I do understand that. But open up more registers!!

You know I like Costco so much, this day I get a chicken and bugets for my dinner, so I was totally messed up becouse the chicken was over cooked, it my first time that the costco can do mistakes I will add photo

It’s always great to shop Costco both in the wear house and on line. Prices are good larger sizes on items I use more of. Friendly service. Been shopping Costco for many years and still love it. Sale items in clothes are super good.

Good Costco. Good for seniors to get there early before it gets too crowded. It gets very busy on the weekends.

Not to crowded at 10ish. However by time we left an hour later really crowded.Shelves were full, great selection.

4 Stars. All the Wonder of Costco and every great thing you get! while youre there even member vacation packages/ bulk buys of two much to refrigerate. As most of the employees are running for the company and it all comes to a screeching halt at checkout. and all the time-saving convenience goes right out the window as you get caught between wagon carts and xtra large load shopping carts of two each watching peoples head Bobble as they look for openings and gaps then comes 5 more vending machine soda pop vendors and 3 Taco Cart Runners for the areas local Taco stands. And Jimmy Johns is the winner for the most mayonnaise stacked on a wagon cart four five separate locations is there I am with my keto bread and some fresh flowers and their prescription and no cash at the quick checkout debit only gets you four stars

I just went in to update and upgrade my membership card. It was quick and easy there was not a long line for this section.

To get into dock direction and flow, come in behind Costco on NE Purcell Blvd and follow in line. Dock receiving starts at 5 am.

This place is stellar just like any Costco, but checkout went faster than most!

It was interesting to visit a CostCo away from my home town. Pretty much the same lay out and all employees want the best for their guests. I like that this store has two employees checking receipts at the door. That is something I havent seen at home.

Costco sells seasonal items that tickle the taste buds as well as seasonal outdoor goods for Summer fun!Home run for shoppers, no matter the time of year!

The main thing I like about COSTCO is the quality. Their buyers make well informed choices on the products to provide quality items for its customers. The try before you buy samples keeps me from purchasing something that I dont like and encouragement to try something new! When I have time, its fun to wonder the isles and see whats new or innovative.

The customer service in the Bend warehouse has gone down dramatically in the past year. CS is rude and offered a lot of static for a return without a receipt. She was able to look up the item and complained to a co worker about it in front of us.The tire center told my husband they had a stock of batteries and then he went to pick one up and NONE were available. They were too lazy to look. Costco may think its the only game in town but there are other places to shop.

Great place to purchase bulk products for your business or home. The food court is always a great place to catch a cheap and tasty lunch.

Costco Bend is well kept and quality service. I want to commend a team member who assisted my wife in the parking lot named Eric. He went out of his way to assist her on a hot day with her cart, my thanks to him.

Poor customer service I bought a car from a friend ..I did not have a choice to which tires came with the vehicle they where Costco tires..I tried getting a tire change over or a flat repaired..i forget which .and offered to pay them..and they said no..not even if I paid them.. also most recently they cancelled about 40 peoples membership due to them having a mask protest poor management and customer service. Membership is not worth it .

I Never leave bad reviews but this was terrible. Bought a couch online and it said delivery in 4 days. After three days it said i had to schedule a delivery and the soonest appointment was 10 days later. They gave us a 2 hour window of delivery but never came. Called customer service to see what was goin on. Was on hold for 2 1/2 hours and they said a box was damaged. Didnt call us to say anything about it or to say they wouldnt be coming. We canceled our order and will be going somewhere else.

We havent had a membership in a few years. The day we were there their printer was broken so we could not get cards. I bought some queen size flannel sheets for $30.00. They feel so soft after being washed. I found Better Than Boulion (chicken & beef) for $5.99 (16 oz). We bought a $4.99 rotisserie chicken: dinner!

I was a member and I currently instacart at this location. The cart pushers outside and the meat department are so nice and helpful. Unfortunately the cashiers and door greeters/receipt checkers are very rude. I have never seen this poor of customer service from a Costco and I will not be renewing thanks to the poor service. I understand it’s busy, but there is no reason to be rude and not even look at me when answering a question. Lost a customer of 5 years. Not coming back.

The quality WAS good. Selection wasn’t bad, but over time products seem to be disappearing from the shelves not to be restocked (I’m not talking about toilet paper- that’s just poor planning). The people used to be nice, but the masks must be negatively affecting their brains because the employees don’t seem to care anymore. I’m just disappointed be their decline in quality mostly from the staff.

I have had really good luck with Costco selling quality items most big box retailers try and pass off junk into their consumers and I have not found Costco to be doing the same. Great food options and very well priced frozen wild fish. I was dissatisfied to see an employee wearing a face shield instead of mask, but unfortunately Oregon has allowed that loophole for now.

I have the executive membership and this is the first year we received the yearly gift certificate. We went through the self checkout lane and it wasnt until we went to pay that we were told we cannot use the certificate in self checkout. I was trying to ask the employee questions and he ignored me. I actually had to interrupt him and demand that he answer my questions. I am tired of shopping at places where the employees are rude and/or ignore customers and I am done putting up with it. Otherwise it is usually a fairly pleasant shopping experience.
