The Tactics Bend store has a large selection of great boards. They have boards that I couldn’t find at Evo Seattle/Portland, Backcountry.com, or the other local stores. Their prices are unbeatable. I appreciate their helpful Customer Service after I voiced a concern. They were prompt, understanding, and immediately took care of my issue. Looking forward to coming back to shop here!

Great place with a good selection of skateboards and snowboards. great staff and a good selection of clothes too, if youre trying to get into a boardsport or youre looking for some new gear, tactics can hook you up.

My snowboard got swept off the mountain at Mt Bachelor and I’m on a cross country shred trip so this was a bummer and unexpected. I came to Tactics this past weekend hoping to find a good selection of boards and not settle on one due to low availability. Two employees specifically were extremely helpful as I’ve been riding the same board for 3 years and wasn’t sure how to get a more progressive board or what to transition to. I was nervous but trusted their judgment and went with a twin tip free ride camber and I’m super stoked I did — not only did I get super educational customer service, but this board is 100x better than my old board and is way more fun to ride - Libtech 43. I’m pretty impressed with the customer service and selection so I’ll be back to their Portland location on my way north. Thanks guys and your expertise made a bad situation into a great one.

My daughter went in to purchase her first skateboard. The folks there were completely awesome and helped her pick out things she liked. They didn’t mind that it took extra time. Super friendly, knowledgeable, and very customer service oriented. Thank you! She’s one happy girl!

Went hoping to put together a street setup and new shoes, since Tactics does have the best selection of skateboard shoes in town.Staff wont enforce mask mandate, and it was impossible to get the attention of sales staff. I guess I look too old to skate?Will be ordering shoes off Zappo instead and go to Zumiez for my next deck.

I ordered my granddaughters skate board parts (her Christmas present from us) from Tactics and the USPS lost my package! These guys were the best! I called them daily for about a week and they helped me monitor the lost package until it was so close to Christmas they strongly suggested we order another deck so that they would have time to get it shipped to us and here before Christmas. I ended up finding the deck elsewhere, but they promptly refunded our money for the deck I purchased through them and reshipped the other parts immediately! Everything arrived before Christmas! They saved my granddaughters Christmas! Yall went above and beyond to help this Nanny and Poppo surprise our babygirl with her dream skateboard! Thanks to all you wonderful guys!!!

Poor customer service. Nice shop and I think its important for locations like these to exist for local kids. That said, I would have given it 5 stars for the shop and 3 stars at best for service. Stopped in to buy a set of pants and support the local business rather then spend my money online. Was harassed by a tall bald guy for using my downtown employee discount. Didnt feel welcomed and he could have handled it way better. Was informed in a rude way with some smart a** comment that the discount no longer applied to my employer who operates just a few doors up from this business. Funny I just purchased a drink from Mothers Downtown and they were happy to extend. Ill be hesitant to stop in on my lunch again to spend my paycheck. Too many alternative choices to be treating customers rudely.

The dudes here are great. I went in with the attitude that I probably new more than the people working there like its Zumies or something. Not the case.Bought a board here and had a great time despite the system being down for a while. Another time the guys fixed my BOA up asking for nothing

Great selection! Step prices, and the workers follow me around like either Im a gaper or Im going to steal something. A good example would be Zumiez vibe. But I cant give enough love to the great selection.

Well Ive never been here but saw a video of it and some girl customizing it and the service looks great! She asked what her style was and what she liked and seemed very nice.

Very helpful and still had a good selection of snowboard boots late in the season!

Great board shop . i decided to skate with my kid and bought local here. The board is awesome and i paid less than 120 got a great deal .. The folks are extremely helpful and Will get you on wheels whatever your budget.. Theres alot of great clothes as well. Sunglasses and alot more BUT MOSTLY I GOT GREAT SERVICE AND I CAN APPRECIATE THAT.. id say b 4 u but at a chain like zoomies maybe think more local . its definitely worth it.
