I was having some issues with my Range Rover when I was in Bend visiting someone. I saw Bend British on google and took my car there. I was told one thing that was wrong and it was the battery. Then they called and said it was something else. At first I was understanding, then after they had it several days instead of the few hours that they first told me, I felt like I was being scammed.I unfortunately didn’t read all the reviews before taking it there. What started out to be a small amount I had to pay, ended up being over $1,300. and it still wasnt starting right. I had to Get back home which I drove straight for 9 hours as I was scared to turn it off. I took it to my dealership once home and they were shocked what was done. They said things were done that were not needed and felt so bad as the actual problem they never fixed. The dealership charged me half off as they felt so bad for me. They also contacted the BBB to report them.

When you get your land rover back with more issues then when you drop it off... yeah.

Francis and team solved my 2006 L322s ignition switch, and steering column issues. They worked with me in finding these hard to locate parts as well as kept me updated through the whole repair. It took longer then any of us thought, due to shoddy repair work in the vehicles past, and additional parts need replaced. The ole girl has worked like a champ since. There are closer shops to my location yet I feel its worth my 4 hour drive to have them service my Rover.

Paid money for a full check, was told everything was fine and my engine was perfect just needed rotors and brakes. I replaced all 4 rotors and brakes on my lr2 wasnt cheap but hey i was willing to put down money as long as i could get it fixed. All i can say is i feel like nothing was really checked or observed i was told vehicle was perfect engine and transmission were fine. Meanwhile on my way home i end up stalling and multiple engine misfire codes came up. Replaced all 6 coils and sparkplugs problem persists but after all the money lost in this trip I dont feel like going back. I didnt even get a legit reciept, but will be testing all the rover mechanics in bend and will find one that fits hopefully soon i need to get this rover up and running again soon. I swear the hardest part of owning a rover is finding a good mechanic.

Rebuilt our nonprofits engine however never completed the job, or will call back. We had to spend 3,000 more to have the job completed. A job that cost 5 thousand ended up costing 7,000 by Bend British and we had to pay another company to complete the job and ended up costing our nonprofit 3,000 more thousand to have the job done right.

Francis and Elsa are really a joy to work with every time I have a routine check up or maintenance done on my Land Rover Discovery SE I always leave the shop feeling safer in my vehicle. Its nice to know that I can really trust my mechanic and that there is someone other than myself that cares about my Land Rover as much as me!

Every time I have visited Bend British (formerly Bend Rovers) I have had nothing but great service with fair prices. If you are a Central Oregon Land Rover owner, there is no better place to bring your vehicle.

My wife and I were in the midst of a month long road/camping trip in the PacNW when our LR3 started giving up problems just outside of Bend. There was an electrical fault that was igniting several fault lights and disabling our suspension system. Of course, the trouble happened on a Sunday AM and when no shops would be open to help. We found Bend Britishs number online and the phone was forwarded to Francis cell. Given our plight, Francis agreed to meet us to at least attempt a diagnosis. Little did we know that Francis, and his daughter, were spending their Sunday working on rebuilding an airplane. Nonetheless, Francis took time out of his weekend and off-day to help us. We ended up getting our problem resolved a little further down the line on our trek; but, getting the first part of the diagnosis done and the knowledge that we were ok to drive on was incredibly helpful. And, while he was hooking up the diagnostic computer, we received a couple other helpful tips about oru LRS from Francis. This was the best service Ive received since being a Land Rover owner and I might have to consider relocating to Bend now..the town and outdoors are beautiful there and there is one heck of a LR mechanic and business owner there. I highly recommend taking your vehicle to Bend/PDX British and Francis.
