I had a wonderful experience at Caffe Adagio. The staff was very friendly. The menu offered a number of dairy free and gluten free options. I will definitely be returning!

The Baristo would not serve me cause a Bellingham “Police Officer” informed me a block from the establishment I could no longer enter the establishment. Just before this I was using the internet outside the cafe and waved to the officer. He approached me.

Hands down, the best coffee in Bellingham. Also, the best white chocolate lavender mocha Ive had in Washington. Everyone is always so friendly here and its a great place to just relax.

What was a spot I could sit and do my online work while waiting for buses. They had some substantially mentally unwell customers that try to project their mental problems on to me and then the employee decided to give me a tiny glass of red food coloring soda water (had zero flavoring) instead of Italian soda I paid alot for. Servings are tiny to begin with. But when an employee cant do their job because of random rumor Mill slander on a victim thats a problem.

The best latte with Oat milk that ive ever had. way better than expected. You know how a lot of coffee shops dont steam oat milk well? Well... they nailed it and know how to steam it. Highly recommend.

I love the atmosphere of this place. Very friendly and fun. Today I ordered a white chocolate mocha and a delicious sandwich with a salad. With tax and tip it cost around $17. A bit pricier than I normally do, but it was really good. They use Cafe Darte coffee which seems to be one of my faves. They have free internet there and dont mind if you stay for awhile. I will definitely be back and would definitely recommend this place.

Great food and drink but slow service is a given

The coffee is great, the service is lack luster. For me part of going to a coffee shop is the warm, relaxing, inviting atmosphere and this place is just... Ok. Its not bad is just not special. But I would come back for the coffee and just take it with me to go.

I really love the Italian coffee here. Its fresh and filtered and served with lots of love by all the wonderful female baristas. We both need to come here more often and let us know your rules and regulations regarding buying coffee and duration of stay so that we can properly use your WiFi for official business only like Western homework. This is my favorite cafe this side of the Atlantic. Unlike most of the northwest, their roast doesnt taste scorched. There isnt much for breakfast, just pastries, but their sandwiches rock. Theres comfortable seeting and tasteful music.

Ive only experienced this cafe postcovid, but the few times Ive been there the service has been delightful. They keep their space very clean, and I always enjoy what I get. Decor wise is very standard when you think of a cafe, I think thats pretty much their only downfall.

I love their Mayan mocha, its wonderful. And they have oat milk so thats happy. Its also a mellow environment and the employees have always been great the handful of times Ive been in.

I love this place. I actually discovered it after the start of quarantine, and it has given me something to look forward to a few times a week. They make hands-down the best half-sweet hot mocha Ive ever had, and its consistently good no matter who makes it. Cant wait to spend time here when I can actually sit down and enjoy the atmosphere. Kind staff, and the music choices are always good.

I had a coffee here. It was a little more expensive, but i really kind of expected that, seing as to how I have two eyes. My two eyes beheld that i walking into a cute little downtown cafe instead of the sterile corporateness of a McCheapcoffee. My coffee was fancy with those coffee swirls that college girls like to put in coffee, either out of boredom or a burst of creativity. Either way i enjoyed it.

The mayan hot chocolate was very good and I recommend it. Everyone was nice and I cant wait to visit when indoor setting opens back up post pandemic.

Excellent coffee, excellent service, lots of seating after the new expansion. I come here every chance I get. The sandwiches and salad are delicious. Everything is reasonably priced as well. Only challenge is to find an outlet. This is my favorite coffee place to visitUpdate: Best (traditional) macchiatos. The milk foam is lovely. I will sorely miss this when I leave Bellingham and regret not discovering this amazing gem of a macchiato earlier.

I have been going to Cafe Adagio for 4 years now. I have tried almost every coffee place in Bellingham and the owner and long-time baristas there make the best latte’s in town hands down. I also think they have the best coffee overall as well. All their drinks are so affordable for the high quality you receive. They have a great brunch menu with sandwiches as well as pastries and cookies. You can even pick up their Italian coffee in bulk. Such friendly and helpful staff and a great environment. One of the most spacious, cozy, and sunlight drenched coffee spots in town. I could stay there for hours. And it doesn’t hurt that you’re right in the heart of downtown if you’d rather take it to-go on a little walk. They do a great job of cleaning and making you feel safe through Covid times without feeling as if you’re walking on eggshells. No complaints with these folks!

Hey. Ive been coming here for years. Its quaint and cozy with great wifi and great staff. A must while in downtown Bellingham.

Always a popular spot, warm and cozy, lots of space and good coffee. The real winner here is the cinnamon roll, I dont know if they make them here or where they come from, and honestly as long as they stick around I dont need to know the origin story. Came in for a warm cup of chai and will be returning to consume cinnamon rolls regularly.

This might be the best coffee in whatcom county. The flavors are wildly Intense and rich. I love the americano and when I get this it’s strong and bold. You know you are getting a high quality coffee when you come here. Locally owned and ran. Great food as well. Get a treat and know that the coffee you get will all the buzz you can handle! Love this place so much!

Absolutely, 100% best coffee in town. If I have the time in my day to sit and enjoy a latte here, I never miss the chance. Id even hop off the bus between stations to grab a cup before class. The atmosphere is so warm and inviting and the staff are always extremely friendly. The cost is totally worth the coffee, the experience, and the people. It is my favorite place to study, meet up with friend, or go on dates with my boyfriend. Highly, highly, highly recommend.

Love this place! They have a great spicy chocolate drink thing and their soup is always yummy! The staff is quite friendly and helps with questions about the menu. They had music on Black Friday which was wonderful and so nice and made me quite happy.

First time stopping by, I got a Mayan hot chocolate to go ( hot chocolate with chili and nutmeg). They took just as much care with making ancocoa as you would expect for an in-house latte - it was beautiful! Tastes great, nice and hot. I gave 4-star because it was such a short trip, I dont feel qualified to say more

Really enjoyed my almond frangipane from Mt Bakery. My Mexican drinking chocolate was a little too spicy but the barista was very accommodating and gave me some spare steamed milk to tone it down.

I was installing cabinets just across the street from Caffe Adagio. I must say, the best coffee anywhere around. We are based out of Lynden, so I don’t make it out to Bellingham that often, but when I do I go here. It’s simply fantastic coffee and amazing attention to detail. So cheap too, not your $6 dollar coffee from Woods or Starbucks and way way better. I can’t praise this place more. Get some!!

This spacious cafe is the darling of the nonprofit and city-worker crowd. No matter how filled the space, it is generally quiet.Even with an expanded baked goods counter, Adagio continues to offer not one single vegan baked good or treat. Additionally, they penalize those who dont or cant do dairy with an up-charge for soy or rice milk. This causes us to choose other local coffee placed over Adagio.

Bellingham has a bunch of solid cafes but Caffe Adagio beats them all. Great coffee, fantastic soups and sandwiches and chocolate chip cookies that flat out dominate. The staff is super friendly too. Love this place

I have found the staff to be excellent. The owners are onsite and responsive. Music is in the background - not in my face or disturbing my conversations with friends. Prices for bakery items are fair. Coffee beverages are priced low. The food menu is always delicious. Those who whine about prices - just have no business sense.

As it is just around the corner from BBay Running, this is my go to coffee shop. Luke makes the best coffee with a touch of elegance with his foam designs. Good sandwiches & salads for lunch, too.

The food and drinks are kinda pricey but there good. I mostly come for the atmosphere so I can sit and talk with my mom over a cup of coffee
