It’s fine for what it is, the baristas are kinda slow so if you have somewhere to be maybe don’t pick here. The atmosphere is cool but extremely limited seating. Mocha tasted like lukewarm milk. They just need to tweak a few things and it could be 5 stars

Setting is simple straight forward. Order counter is smack in front of the door so you always have people trying to get in while youre ordering. Lots of windows and light. Industrial vibe. Service fairly quick...BUT the coffee was just warm, not hot. Just okay+

This coffee was amazing! I never review, but for this I had to. I ordered a hot mocha on a warm day (I was sad and wished Id remembered to say iced) but it was possibly the best Ive ever had AND not made too hot! I can sip it immediately and the place was so cute inside

The Black Drop is back and with some yummy food offerings! Just got a half order of biscuits and gravy along with the cheesecake flavor of the day- chocolate with strawberry topping. So delicious!! A week ago, I had one of their new vegan chickpea wraps. Yummy and generous serving that I had it for lunch and dinner. Dont forget the coffee! It is the only place I recommend to friends for their coffee needs in town.

Decent place to hang out and chill or do a little work. Much larger location than they used to have, so doesnt feel as cosy but the coffee is still the same gross stuff from the old owners. Also the staff dont seem as friendly but thats probably a result of covid. No Vax card required for entry at this time.. but masks are understandably a must when you arent seated and/or are interacting with a team member.

Locally owned and operated. They have some of the best coffee in town and make a very consistent latte. They have lots of unique flavors to choose from like Bees Knees and seasonal flavors. They also sell coffee beans and a few other coffee related items. They have cookies and snacks as well. A great place to meet up with friends over a great cup of coffee.

The Black Drop is the best coffee shop in town. The owners are brilliant and the staff all know their stuff. I refuse to go anywhere else if I can help it. If you havent gone in, I cant express to you enough how quickly you should change that. This place is a gem, come check it out.

Good coffee, great prices, cool location/atmosphere--but the staff made a point to have as minimal interaction with customers as possible. I felt like a house guest overstaying his welcome. I was given a card to put on my table, so they knew they needed to clean it after I left. I got the message, and left before I finished my coffee. (They do this with everybody; something I failed to mention in my first post. Owner clarifies below) Maybe it was just a bad day, but I wont come back (owner was very kind, thoughtful; I wiIl consider going back after Covid-19 situation improves)still think the coffee is fairly priced, they have a strong theme, messaging, commitment to more than coffee.

Had a gift certificate and used it throughout different shifts and days and got the same vibe each time your not my demographic. Service was slow and drinks mediocre so many other options available.

Honest opinion I do not like this place. I came here to get an ice chai tea and I asked for an extra shot of chai cuz I dont like it when all I can taste is milk with a hint. I like to taste what my drink is. When I tried asking for am extra shot she did everything to avoid giving me an extra shot she said oh I can water down the milk now it tastes like watered down milk with no hint of chai.I still got my drink but I dont think I will be coming back.Sorry.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Black Drop Coffeehouse while visiting from out of town. I decided to try the Bees Knees and not only were the staff very friendly with prompt service, but the drink was absolutely delicious. I later had the pleasure of meeting with the owner, whom was very friendly and this definitely was a highlight of my trip. I brought some Cobra Kai coffee home with me from the trip which is my new favorite brew. I will have to head back soon to stock up. If you have the chance, I highly recommend stopping into this great little cafe. The environment is cozy, staff friendly and knowledgeable.

Finally made it to this esteemed coffee shop in a city that takes its coffee seriously. Relaxed atmosphere with cozy chairs and local art on the walls. Varied menu with delicious seasonal drinks alongside standards and some pastries. My Chailo Ren (chocolate, chai, latte, espresso) was robust and yummy. A cool place to start your day.

I’m a coffee for life fan. The man behind the counter was very friendly and accommodating. I drank their special: French Toast Latte.It was a beautiful, sunny Tuesday evening in July so we sat outside but away from the transients.

The Black Drop has the best coffee in Bellingham. The Darkness is my favorite blend to buy and has been for years. If I feel like getting crazy I get the Black Widow, but on most occasions I drink it black with a couple refills until I get jittery.Awesome spot to hang out and read a book. They keep it simple with great coffee and snacks.

I was having a heck of a hectic morning at work. I took myself on a walk to decompress and ended up stopping by Black Drop on a whim. Not only was their fireball mocha unstoppably delicious (not too sweet, richly chocolatey, and just the right amount of spicy kick), but they made an elephant with the coffee art!!! Stayed in Bellingham for a wedding recently. Prefer to support local businesses; and especially women or LGBTQ run businesses. Found Black Drop via search and reviews. The cortado I ordered was the perfect balance of finely roasted beans and steamed oat milk. The temperature was also perfect [unlike the national chains that burn their shots]. Definitely returning for another beverage [the specialty menu looks awesome!] on our next visit to Bellingham.

The black drop is hands down the best cup of coffee I have had anywhere. I dont say that with any exaggeration. Every time I find myself in Bellingham, I make it a mission to get a coffee of espresso, and buy a bag of beans. Its an absolute treat.

The beans are fantastic; I always end up with a very tasty espresso. The rotating art is refreshing as is the variety of music. Staff is chill, vibe is relaxed; great for reading, study, or just sitting.Definitely drink here, youll be a happier person.

Black drop is the best choice for coffee in Bellingham, hands down. Not only are they known for their unique lattes, but also their fine tasting quality coffee from local roasters Maniac Roasting. They are the epitome of what it means to be a community whos fundamentals are based on supporting each and every member. This shows in many forms including the many fundraisers they have supported throughout the years, buying from and supporting other small businesses and being inclusive to all. I love this place and the people who run it.

Im not a coffee drinker, but my wife is and she really likes their roast. The people who work there are always friendly and cool, best part is they give back a pecentage of the coffee they sell to the homeless and other local charities.
