Every. Single. Thing. About this place is absolute perfection. I hardly wanted to write this review to be honest because it’s that much of a gem. I don’t want more people coming in and stealing the last galette.

Everything I tried here was absolutely delicious. The rosemary oatmeal cookies were like an orgasm in my mouth and the hazelnut toast was the perfect blend of savory and sweet for first thing in the morning. This was truly my favorite breakfast ever.

Cant say enough great things about this place. Apparently it has become my kids go-to place, and after a visit I can see why. The staff here is super-welcoming to everyone who comes in, and knows many regulars. The coffee drinks are made with many special touches, including flavors you wont find most other places--rose-flavored coffee was delicious. The space is light and airy, with lots of plants, but still maintains a bohemian coffee shop atmosphere. And, the food is very good, with again some really interesting and different combinations you wont find elsewhere. Like savory toasts with a side of yogurt. If I lived in Bellingham I would be a regular too.

Cafe Blue is a treasured gem situated in the heart of Fairhaven. Eric and I call this our happy place for coffee and breakfast over a competitive game of crib. Lily, Kyle, Jackie, Jason and the gang are always extremely gracious and kind, their warmth radiates throughout the space they have so tastefully created. Below is a picture of Lilys cappuccino magic :) We have since moved away from Bellingham and when I asked my husband what he misses most, he said Cafe Blue. We love you guys!

Cafe Blue is my happy place! Lily and crew provide some top notch coffee and foodstuffs. Anything you get to eat or drink is certain to be delicious, and the decor is so lovely that it makes the grey days in Bellingham Not So Bad At All. I implore you to make your way here! This is my favorite coffee shop in all of Bellingham. The service is super great, the new remodel is chic and cute. Coffee and atmosphere are wonderful. If you get there on a sunny warm day, make sure to relax in the outdoor seating area.

We literally moved to Bellingham because of this place. Friendliest, most welcoming place Ive been to in a long time. Expertly crafted coffee, housemade baked goods, granola, chai, avocado toast. But the personality is what clinches it. Do keep in mind, these people care about you, your experience, your tastebuds. Take your time.

This cafe is a perfect study spot. It was bustling, and I understand why. The baristas are very sweet and there are a variety of baked goodies, cozy meals, and yummy caffeinated beverages to enjoy! The biscotti was flavorful and the perfect crumbliness! I will be returning.

I really love this place! Everyone is so kind. The food is simply delicious. I’ve had a couple of their toasts and they are all on point. The side dish of yogurt is a truly special treat! They pay attention to the details and make you feel right at home. I can’t wait to go back!!

I LOVE the atmosphere here. Someone with great taste clearly put effort in to make this place unique and stylish. Also, their toasts are fabulous! The staff has always been very welcoming and kind, service is fast.

Absolutely love what theyve done with the old Rustic space. The coffee is delicious. They have bagels made in house, delicious house made pastries, and healthy breakfast toast meal options. You can also get fruit, they have baby bananas! The decor is really special, they made this awesome record nook with tile. There are a few plant shelves as well, which add a cozy and inviting vibe. The couches remind me of where the Friends crew hung out in Central Perk. They also have a very inviting outdoor seating area that looks like someone put some real thought and intention. I was bummed when I saw Rustic was going away but now Im okay with it because I like Cafe Blue even better. Theyre doing it smart and it looks like they have their own coffee beans. Next time Im there Ill be getting a bag of beans for sure.Edit: the service is super friendly and exceptional as well.

I really enjoyed my vanilla latte, and the atmosphere was very calm. The staff were extremely helpful and did a great job of making me feel welcome. Also their cookies are delicious

Baked from scratch goodies, homemade soups and frittatas consistently prepared and served to perfection. Cafe is abustle with friendly staff and patrons and always a comfortable socially-spaced place to relax inside and out!

Drip Coffee taste like dog water

I just started college at Western as a freshman, and I was out on the hunt for a cute cafe to be able to go with my friends on study dates, and also just a cute hangout spot, and this place is it! It’s all I could ask for in a cafe: very cute and cozy atmosphere, great taste in music, has its own cute personality to it, and most of all the amazing and yummy coffee! The staff are also super friendly and make me feel like I’m right at home here 💙

Very tasty baked goods and reasonable prices. They seemed pretty busy but the staff was still very friendly and working quick to get drinks out. We will be back.

Lily, Kyle and Katie are the best! They are so friendly. The food is fricken amazing. I havent had a single thing I dont like. I hope one day theyre successful enough to keep the kitchen open longer, but on the other hand I dont really want anything to change 🤷 I really enjoy this place. Its got such a great atmosphere. Ive been in here a handful of times now. And each visit has been amazing. The coffee is tasty and well made (Ive had lattes and americanos so far), the food is tasty ( mmm cookies and pastries), and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. It is a wonderful place to chat with friends and to hang out while writing. The employees are kind and really love what they do. The quality of both the product and service are proof of this. I will be back to Cafe Blue many times over. I only wish they were open later as I would love to hang out and write there on evenings after my day job.

This place is amazing. It provides a cozy and calm atmosphere while serving delicious pastry and small plate meals (my personal favorite being the Spanish tomatoe and ricotta toast). Not to mention, the coffee and tea served here is superb, I would reccomend the peach tea to anyone who comes here. All in all this place is an extraordinary cafe. The staff/owners are also very welcoming and kind as well.

Best coffee shop in town (been to two) 😃 But seriously, the staff was super friendly! I had the iced mocha latte (make sure to ask for the special mocha) It was delicious 😋 My partner Bob (aka Skeezix) had the hot mocha latte and biscotti he appeared to be very satisfied.The backstory... Skeezix had his face mask on as we walked in. As I threw out my Perrier bottle I noticed the Trump sticker on the trash can. I quickly told Skeezix to take his mask off. He looked confused for a second and then understood they may not be Trump supporters. We had great conversation about our travels and how we ended up in their coffee shop so far away from Home. We certainly won’t hold their political views against them. As they were so gracious and friendly (good thing our political preference was quickly concealed). Not that we would have been treated any differently.. lol Unless they saw the face mask before it was quickly removed then there tolerance towards us was much appreciated 😁 Overall a great experience! We look forward to going back. Potentially engaging in a lively political discussion. 😄

Cozy atmosphere. Great coffee. Bubbly and fun staff, of which, Riley is the most cheerful and radiant human being to interact with at the counter, and the others are always kind and happy as well. 10/10 would recommend!
