We have a 2017 Ford Transit Diesel Fuse Winnebago with a engine light on for water in the Fuel. Even though they were busy they made room for our repair. They had us back on the road in no time. Professional, affordable and honest! The shop is immaculate, one of the nicest I’ve seen! Highly recommended.

We were on an extended vacation in our Travel Trailer in the Blaine area when our check engine light came on our Chevy Diesel Duramax. And our regular mechanic was over 100 miles away. The earliest we could get a diagnostic with them was 2 weeks out, then a schedule repair another week. The truck was running ok except for some extra burn of def which periodically blew white exhaust after a high rpm for a couple of months, so we knew it was coming. So we did a little researched for a decent local mechanic with good reviews. We found Sound Truck Repair, they were also booked out 2 weeks for a diagnostic, but said they would be able to work on our truck the same day, so we parked it and took the appointment. Well, they did exactly as promised, they took care of business. We feel the diagnostics was accurate, we feel we were charged accordingly, the repair time frame was efficient, we did not feel there was any kind of deception or up sales. These guys are on the up and up. And above all, we are appreciative that we were able to safely get on the road again to tow our rig. Thank you all at Sound Truck Repair, it was a good day, and you helped make it. BTW Dustin was amazing.

Save yourself your own time and money and avoid this shop. I recently purchased a house on a really steep hill and am no longer able to work on my diesel F-350 myself. I chose Sound Truck & Auto because of all the great reviews. My experience reflected none of them.I dropped my truck off Wednesday evening for my scheduled appointment the following morning and included a list of known issues I was hoping to have addressed. I never received any sort of confirmation call letting me know they’d received my truck. Unusual, but fine. 4 days later I still hadn’t heard anything so I called in to see how it was going, and was told my truck hadn’t been looked at yet because they’d ‘been busy.’ Which is completely understandable, however the tone of the call was an aggravated ‘why are you wasting our time’ -which was frustrating. 9 days later I still hadn’t heard anything. I called them again because they apparently can’t be bothered to call me ever, and am told they “hadn’t had time to get it on the rack yet because they’ve been busy and are having issues with another vehicle.” They then gave a slurry of probable issues and a vague quote ranging between “$3,500-$8,500” It felt like a very open-ended quote due to them not taking the time to actually diagnose it completely. At this point my trust in this shop was completely eroded and I had no faith in their ability to do a decent job fixing my vehicle in a timely manner for a reasonable price. I told them to not worry about it, I’ll be in to pick up the truck. When I arrived I had an over $300 bill and now my parking break dings the entire time I’m driving even though it’s disengaged. After voicing my frustrations they were thoughtful enough to reduce the bill and apologize for their extreme lack of communication but that doesn’t negate the fact that I just paid a shop money to somehow make my truck worse. Having work done here is apparently an absolute gamble pared with zero communication, so take that into consideration when choosing a shop. I’m sure they do great work when they find the time to get around to it, as illustrated in the past reviews. I completely understand circumstances are strange right now, but to never once call me spoke louder than anything else. I wish theyd just communicated that they didnt have time to work on it, I couldve taken it somewhere else and saved myself this entire hassle.

These guys are great i have a 89 ford quadravan that had front end problems and the part that failed had to be either made or found good luck on finding one anyway i had one made they had to hold up there shop space for some time for me and yet they never faltered they went way above and beyond for me and did excellent work at a unbelievable price and you couldnt ask for a nicer bunch of people i highly recommend them and they will be getting all my familys business from now on thank for everything you guys are great

Who does that anymore?It was great to get prioritized preventive maintenance suggestions upon picking up our income making Cummins Truck.The maintenance plan clearly showed that our truck was physically gone over!

I went here to get my power steering pump replaced. They had great customer service. There were a few other issues with my truck and they went over everything with me and explained to me the most important things to get done. Dick runs the best diesel shop in North America!! He is the most honest shop ever.That is amazing considering it is mostly diesel that is repaired at Sound Truck and Auto.They replaced my 6.5 Chevy diesel with a 6.5 Optimiser from Jeff @ Bostic Motors in North Carolina. Bostic is the only place for 6.5 diesel replacement.The motor arrived they have a fork lift and delt with everything perfectly spoke with Jeff on setting timing and details.They completed the install to perfection and serviced the entire drive train and A/C with a service to the rear brakes.The attention to detail is stunning.I have had the truck back for two days and have noticed all the attention to detail and I am extremely proud and pleased with the work.Dustin and Regina were always warm and kind and kept me well informed threw out the process. Dustins confidence in the shop was true and reassuring.I appologize for any doubts .I was wrong.They did this to perfection .Thank you!
