They make sure to call with all the details of your issue as well as confirm you’d like to continue with that service so you know what you’re paying for. If they don’t feel comfortable they can fix it they’ll tell you up front. They keep it honest

Ive been going to this Midas for the last 5 years and always receive great service! Cory & Josh & the team are honest and I never feel like theyre trying to take advantage or overcharge. I went recently for an oil change and reported to them my car was making a weird rattling noise and they found the source of the noise, fixed it and test drove it to ensure it was fixed and didnt charge me anything extra. I highly recommend this Midas!!

Ive had two different trucks in there for two different mufflers. Corey at the service counter was knowledgeable and each time recommended the perfect muffler. The workmanship of the techs installations was perfect. No leaks, no rattles, no ugly welds. Ive only ever had muffler work done there but am considering having them do other repairs. Prompt, professional, and very cost competitive.

A big thanks to Cory and his team for taking good care of my daughter today. She had some mechanical issues with her car that required a tow. Since I live in a different city, i had no idea who to call. So after searching online, decided to try Midas. Cory answered and said they could look at it and recommended Asap towing. The tow company arrived about an hour later and the driver took care of everything since midas was already closed. The mechanics had the car fixed the next day. Amazing service, thanks everyone.

Brought my pickup that needed 2 or 3 support hangers for the tailpipe. The system is practically new. They told me my system was collapsing with rust and corrosion and needed replacing. I took it to a welder and he fixed using the parts already there and charged me $50. The repair is working fine and we found NO corrosion throught the system.I will not return to Midas. Ever.

Cory and the guys at Midas took care of me in a tricky spot with getting new tires and wheels put onto a van. He showed great attention to detail and a desire to go above and beyond for the customer in a non-typical situation. I am very happy to have brought my business here.

These guys are the best. Corey has always been super friendly and honest when I pick up and drop off my car. When he is not around the other staff are just as fantastic. I have brought my Corolla in many times with issues and concerns and have never felt upsold or taken advantage of. They tell you exactly what needs to be done now and what can wait until a future date. I was having issues with my rotors getting warped and they covered the cost of pads, rotors, and maintenance until they figured out what was causing the issue. My wife brought her car in because there was a terrible squeal when she braked. Got a call back a short time later that the issue had resolved itself after a thorough investigation. They guessed that they loosed a rock that was stuck behind the pad when they took off the wheels and pads to investigate. The entire diagnosis was free. They could have easily charged us for the time or made up some issue. Absolutely first rate people and service. I always recommend them to my friends.

Ive come to the Ohio St. Midas a couple of times now for car repairs. The first was just a check up and it was found that I had a fuel solenoid stuck open and needed to be replaced. The second was a tune up. Im not a car minded person, so they were able to explain it all to me in way I could understand. The customer service was great (Corey was on duty the times I went). My car is running almost like the day I bought it after my tune up.

I went in for an oil change and a new muffler! Came out with that and a ton of useful information about my car. They even brought out a rotor to explain to me the issues my car may shortly face. I felt very taken care of and loved how knowledgeable this manager was.Thank you!

I got quoted for to repair my leaky exhaust and they claimed I needed a new catalytic converter for $1,100. Took to an independent shop and they found it wasn’t the converter but a flex pipe that was rusted and the repair was less than half the price Midas quoted. Careful with these guys, they want your money and have one of the highest hourly rates

I personally enjoy the service that I received from Patrick and his work crew, they did everything that was expected and a bit more and I will more than likely return to have the service on a regular basis. And during there check off list he noticed that I had an issue with my left rear tire and he thought from his prior experience I should go back to where I bought the tires and have them take care of the manufactures defect in the tire, very impressed with that. I have been coming here for many years now and the manager COREY is simply amazing and has always taken EXCELLENT care of all three of my vehicles. I have had major work done, and everything else in between. Recently I had a transfer case and rear end differential put in my Ford Explorer, now thats some major work! Everything works perfect and they did it at a fair price. Corey has amazing people skills and is always honest and stands by his word. I have spent quite a few hours in the store over the years and Corey treats us all the same, AWESOME and with dignity and respect. He takes the arduous time to explain everything to us in detail with regards to the problems with our vehicles. He has never made me feel like an idiot like my old shop used to do.I also want to add that the entire crew there is amazing. A couple of honorable mentions ... Josh the assistant manager is also awesome, and so is Roger, one of the best wrenches in Bellingham.Sadly, I saw a one star review where they blamed Midas for the work that an auto collision place did by putting in the wrong control arm, and then blamed Midas because it would not stay aligned! Really? Cmon, this place deserves better.

This shop has taken care of my car very well ever since it opened a few years ago. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and are understanding of real-world budgets. They will tell you straight what is wrong with your car, and will provide you with options that are affordable. They are also very accommodating with schedules. I hope to find another car shop as reliable as this one when I have to move away.

Ive been going here for a few years after asking a friend for a recommendation in town. Theyve always treated me pretty well, and seemed happy to go through bills or technical issues and explain the details. I always come away feeling like I understand what the problem was. The staff are nice, area is clean. There are a few stores/restaurants nearby too, if you find yourself waiting for a while.

Unfortunately, it is costing me a great deal to get my truck fixed. That would be my fault, as I did not keep up on the regular maintenance. That being said, I have talked to other people who had less work done elsewhere for a higher cost. They have taken very good care of me.

Waste of money and time.DO NOT BRING YOUR SUBARU HERE. I repeat DO NOT BRING YOUR SUBARU HERE. Failed to fill multiple vehicles that Ive had serviced here up to the correct fluid level, both oil and coolant.Brought a 2003 Legacy in that was overheating, they insisted I replace the radiator after performing a block test. Ordered the shop to replace the radiator after the manager assured that the headgaskets looked fine on it.Driving days afterwards the car began overheating. They failed to diagnose the correct problem and when called on his failure the manager denied supplying a misleading diagnosis.They dont know how to work on Subarus here.

I took a old crappy car of my daughters in to Midas on Ohio st, and asked them for a 98.00 analysts of why it wouldnt start, they figured it out, and the car ran good, as soon as we got home, it wouldnt start again, we called them and they said get it down there and they will fix it. We took it back and I figured they would charge me for something else, but to my amazement they, told me there would be no charge, I am very impressed with this company, Ive been to a lot of mechanic shops and they always charge you when something else goes wrong, I will do business with these guys,until they pull any fast ones. But Im a very happy customer. And I also realize that mechanics get a bad rap sometimes even when they mean well, because if anything goes wrong after they do anything to a car, people complain even when its not there faultThank you Midas on Ohio st.

Dont trust these guys!!Gerber collision took my car to this shop after my car accident for it suspension and alignment work.I found out 8 months later because I got a flat tire that they never put the right parts in my car and it was out of alignment since January.Instead of just fixing their mistake they tried to blame me for my alignment being out.When I got my car back from them the second time and I could see that my tires were still not aligned I took it to a different alignment shop and they said it couldnt be aligned because it didnt have the correct control arm.These guys suck!!!

These guys wont even sell me exhaust gaskets and bolts for my Subaru WRX. They say its nothing theyd hold on to from factory? BS! I know they do exhaust and I know they have new bolts and gaskets. They just want you to pay THEM to do the labor. How is it a hassle to sell me a few parts i know they have in stock??? Id give them more money for something that probably cost them 35 cents per bolt.

Our family has been bringing our vehicles here for two years now. In that time, weve dealt mostly with the old manager Cory who seemed an okay guy. The new manager is a guy named Josh and hes shady. The last time we brought one of our cars in they insisted we needed a diagnostic first (although we knew what was wrong with the car). So okay, we paid for the diagnostic and came to the same conclusion (a waste of money). Not more than an hour into the repair we get our first call from Josh upselling another service for an additional $200 and when we ask why hes calling us now and didnt mention this before he says it wasnt included in the diagnostic. Another hour goes by he calls a second time upselling yet another repair for an additional $600. Again, he says it wasnt covered by the diagnostic. At this point theyre now estimating over $1500 worth of repairs! So we say no thanks well take it somewhere else, I mean wouldnt you? Another hour goes by and we get a third call from Josh stating that their work and parts are NOT GUARANTEED because we arent having the other repairs done today. What an as*hat. This is in violation of the national Midas guarantee so you can guess where my next call is going. Well be taking our business elsewhere. And yes, there is a vagina tax here. It is so obvious.

Despite of what there commercials say, that there midas touch touched me the wrong way.

The absolute worst treatment Ive ever seen anywhere. The manager scanned my daughters computer in her car and found a cylinder misfiring. He quoted her and charged my single mother of two daughter $551 for a tune up that did not need to fix her problem. I spent $50 out of my own pocket and had it fixed in ten minutes. I called and filed a claim with Midas corporate and was told that basically it was ok for the manager to swear at me in front of my daughter and grandkids and that basically they did what was necessary to repair her vehicle. They charged her $97 for 4 spark plugs that only had a list of $18 and claimed the put OEM plugs in it come to find out the put cheap Oreillys spark plugs in it. Which I changed and only paid $48 total for plugs with my discount at the dealership​. Also they told her she needed a valve cover gasket that it was leaking oil and I on my own found out from the gentleman she purchased the car from that the valve cover gasket had already been replaced (due to the receipt and obvious new gasket that it had before being brought to Midas. Midas corporate offered to only repay me for the coil I replaced with my $50. Very disturbing that shops like this exist. My daughter came there with an emergency and was taken for all that she had in her savings. I will never ever in my life recommend this place at all.
