Great paint job for cheap price. Changed color from black to green. Some overspray, but they offered to fix it. Front desk customer service from Janelle was dedicated and outstanding.

Great experience from start to finish. Quick and easy getting a quote for a paint job, the options were explained to me and the price was fair. I was able to drop my truck off on a Sunday night using the key box and about a week later it was done. My Suburban was transformed from worn and old looking to shiny and sharp. The price out the door was exactly what was quoted. I am 100% satisfied with the value and work performed.

I crashed my Nissan Maxima, lost my headlight, and crunched the front and side of my car. Maaco was recommended to me by my mechanic- I got several quotes around town, they did the most work for a fair price. Definitely a lifesaver since I had never had a crash before and needed a solution fast. When I picked it up it looked like new again! I couldnt be happier.

Did not pay attention to what we asked to be done!!! Parts not painted, paint blister. They claim it is not there fault it was body work. However the car just came straight from body shop and was flawless and primed. For instance hood is new out of box no body work done and looks the worst. Bad paint job and bad attitude!!! We were told there was 3 yr warranty but was told there was not when we picked it up even though said it on paper work. They refused to fix paint even though scratched!!! I could go on forever but i think pics will explain.

Horrible experience! They had my car almost 2 weeks and waited until the last day to do the repairs to a badly dented fender. The paint had a bunch of imperfections upon inspecting in their lot. They offered to repair their work the following month but I decided not to bring my car back to them. Totally unprofessional and not worth the few bucks saved. Go to a reputable shop. Avoid Maaco!

They advertise as a body and paint shop.I delivered a brand new bumper to get painted.There was a blemish where a heat gun had unfolded the packaged item.This was just painted over and left the blemish to diminish the final look.Very disappointed.

Overall, paint was okay. The tape job could have been better, as some of the trim was painted around the windows. Some of that trim and others were sanded too. Now I have discoloration on the black glossy trim. Theres quite a bit of overspray on the undercarriage. Lots of color, where it should be black. The interior was also riddled with paint dust and as soon as I turned the air on to try and help get the smell out, the cabin instantly filled with even more dust from the vents. Now the entire cabin reeks and I cant get the smell to go away. I have a warranty, so if theres any issues, theyll do the work. However, I wont take any more vehicles to them due to my experience. You figure that youre spending 2k plus that theyd take care of things a little better.

Every Maaco is independently owned from my understanding so your mileage may vary if not going to the Bellingham Maaco on Iowa St. I own a number of cars as a hobby. I typically buy older BMWs and fix them up for fun. This Maaco is my go to for paint. Great value and super fast, paint always matches and the quality is good. For your daily driver or weekend fun car, you cant go wrong with this Maaco.

Matt and his team knocked it out of the park! My old beat up 1965 C10 pickup was completely transformed. I went in expecting less after reading the reviews and not seeing any classic rides. But boy was I wrong! I would highly recommend Maaco Bellingham to anyone wanting an inexpensive paint job on their classic ride.

The staff was amazing. The detail that was paid attention to regarding my truck AND car was much appreciated - especially after having a disappointing previous service with another company. My vehicles were returned on time and look great! Matthew at the front desk was most professional and communicative. I couldn’t of asked for more.

I took my Honda Civic in to have a paint job and when I went to pick it up (yesterday, Monday) after inspection, I saw they had damaged my driver side rear view mirror. Matt said he could cover up the damage with black sharpie pen. (Honest!!!) I noted the damage (Maaco said nothing about it as if I wouldn’t notice it) on my pick up receipt. I immediately called the Maaco telephone # on the receipt & talked w/Michael. (10:57am) I went to the local Honda dealership to get a quote about repair. Because it was a 1992, the part was unavailable at the dealership. They sent me to a local auto body place. I waited all day for my return call from Maaco. I called Maaco back at 4:26pm (Monday.) The phone rep said he would place my case on a higher status. I am STILL WAITING.I can understand the overspray in places. But I CANNOT accept the offer of a black sharpie pen to cover up the damaged plastic part and the lack of respect shown by not returning my calls. This has turned a major investment into my 1992, low miles, great condition, well maintained Honda into a black spot on its history instead of the revolutionary facelift it was supposed to be. I just read other reviews of Matt’s lack of customer service & appreciation and afraid they are all too true. He made no other concession other than sharpie out the apparent damage.

They fixed my work van for a fair price and workmanship and customer service was way better than I had anticipated.

I recieved prompt service, they stayed within the quote, took care of a scratch near the rework that I hadnt mentioned, had special reduced rate for enterprise rentals down the road, and have a drop key box so I could simply drop it off after work and got a ride to enterprise in the morning. They let me know when my car was finished, and did a beautiful job matching the manufacturers paint. Very pleased and will probably use them for filler work and a touch up on my rear bumper soon.

When I first called maaco about the damage to my car it felt as if they could not wait to help me and I brought my car into maaco The same day my hood was damaged. they ordered a hood for my car and the next day my hood was replaced, painted and I was on my way.I’m grateful for the service, the quality of the work, the price was great and maaco got the job done. I could not believe how great my car looked in that short amount of time. I’m so happy with the outcome. I will be going back to Maaco in the near future.

This is second time I have used this facility. First time was great.Second time...not so much. My wife picked up car when she got it home the obvious mismatch of new fender was very obvious. turn signal light was not reattached and was not functioning. I returned car next day and items were fixed quickly.The extra trip and day with out vehicle was annoying but the lack of quality control was more of a concern to me.Hopefully this problem is an exception and not the rule!

Went in and got an estimate for a paint job and some minor body work, estimate $1,100... “May cost a few hundred more to get the larger dent out” additionally we we’re getting rear windows re-done ourselves they told us this would decrease the bid if they didn’t have to remove the windows... took the vehicle in on scheduled day and now the charge is $1800 without popping the dent and we already removed the windows for them! Also the spray job was so SLOPPY I cannot believe, all the hoses that can be seen have overspray as well as the spring shackles and it looks ridiculous!

Careless!!! Rude customer service front the front desk guy, I think his name was Matt? Came back in after my car was fixed. They fixed it quick and the price wasn’t too expensive. But dirt/dust was EVERYWHERE in my car. Normally I’m not that picky. But it was on the floor mat, on the steering wheel, inside of my car door, on my console, on my car keys and lanyard. Seriously guys?! I shouldn’t have to clean up your mess after I payed y’all a service. Anyways, I won’t be returning and I don’t recommend this place to anyone. You don’t always get what you pay for, but in this case you do. They’re cheap for a reason.

First class quality and service at half the price of conventional body shops who inflate prices assuming insurance coverage. Maaco has been an ideal option for those doing self-pay (in my case a paint scratch repair) . Very good value and a job well done.

The folks there were easy to work with. My truck came out looking very nice and the price was very affordable. Definitely happy with the experience. I would recommend this shop and if I ever need another vehicle painted this is the place I would go.

I got an estimate on my car and then took it in to get fixed, and was told that the estimate would be the final cost of the car fix (I specifically asked). I dropped my car off Monday morning, and was told it would be done by Wednesday/Thursday at the latest. I had not heard from them by Friday, so called and was told it would be done in about an hour (they never let mw know the pick-up time would be delayed). I picked it up and paid Friday, and then noticed a part was still missing. I went back in to ask, and he said it would be in by Monday and take 30 seconds to put on, not mentioning any additional cost. I went Monday to pick up the part and was charged $125. My frustration was their lack of communication, and the fact that I had to call many times to find out the status of my car, and was charged more than the estimate that they assured would be the final cost.All in all, I am happy my car was fixed in less than a week and grateful for the job you did. Thank you again for your work!

I had used Maaco in Bellingham once before and they were great. When I saw that someone had damaged my pick-up again, my first thought was go to Maaco and I was correct. They again did a wonderful job at a reasonable price. I love Maaco in Bellingham!

I had a good experience here. I had my rear bumper repainted from a scratch I ended up doing and the Maaco team did a great job and I am happy with the results. Took a day longer to complete then what I was expecting but not gonna hold that against them. Would rather they take longer then to do a bad job done quickly. Matt was very nice and told me what I did or did not need done to my car since I originally wanted my whole car repainted but convinced me that I really didn’t need all of it and it was still in good shape and I agreed. So I just ended up getting my rear bumper done. So overall I will be going back to maaco for anymore of my painting needs.

Drove a company vehicle down to Maaco with front end damage, and a radiator that was dismounted. With a lackadaisical effort and attempt at a visual inspection, no camera, no notes, no actual effort, the employee abruptly, with zero explanation, turned to me and stated he refused to work on it. Meanwhile, no other body shop has expressed any concerns about the work it would entail to work on said van, and have taken proper measures to quote the repairs. I have a feeling you should only take your vehicle here for repairs, if it can repaired with tools provided by Fisher Price.

I recently had my car painted and I like the color and price. There was a few spots that could’ve been sanded or painted better.

Poor communication of the manager and and more and more money. And after we pointed for mistakes suggested to go else where to fix it and pay more money. At this point we knew this is a dodgy business place. First gave me a quote and then didn’t finished the work how they were supposed to and then denied fixing it. Took us more than 45 days to meet the owner and he too didn’t gave guarantee for the fix. And of course they said we never charged you for the issue you have “see it says in the paper work” Anyhow long story guys never ever go to Macao Bellingham again. Poor poor poor place to go by work done. You are better off getting work else where. Shady business ....

The Manager Matt is very nice to work with. He does what he says. The job is ready when promised and I have been very happy with the work. The prices are also reasonable.

I called last week to set up an appointment to get an estimate on my car. Came in on Thursday evening; no one greeted me when I walked in. I stood there for a good ten minutes before a guy who claimed “didn’t work there” came to ask me what I needed. I explained I was in for an estimate to which he said the manager isn’t here to do it. Okay, so who can look at my car for an estimate?! Then an employee comes out to take pictures of my hood. Says he’ll e-mail me an estimate and contact me. Never received an e-mail or call. I call today and received no apology just “I can take your info now”. This is not how you do business and I would never recommend them based on just that experience alone.

My wife and I left our Civic with Maaco for 8 days while on vacation. It was convenient as we flew out of the Bellingham airport and actually were able to save on parking. Worse customer service in the world.y friend asked how much it will be for a fender painting and the guy told him 229 and 299 for whole car. There was a damage on the side of the car on door, so I asked him how much for that, and he was like Im not talking to you. And Im only talking to one person. F***ing idiot. Never had a paint job there (Bellingham Location) but called this morning to get an approx. price quote for a paint job on an old Honda Accord - minus damage or prep (because I understand that that is all extra) I just wanted the price of the paint job when it is ready to spray. Matt wouldnt tell me a price and said he had to see the car. Not very polite about it, which is unfortunate because there is a lot of competetion. There are a lot of Maacos in Canada. I called one right after this call and they gave me a paint price like I had asked - hassle free. So, once again, Ill take the car across the border and have the Maaco in Canada do a great paint job for a great price. The last car I had done up there still looks beautiful and its been over 15 years ago. The exchange on the moneys are great too! A good voice on the phone means a lot to a lot of people. Customer service is an easy thing to give. Its your choice to give it.PS... A lot of bad reviews about Bellingham Maaco on Yelp and Facebook. I would certainly do your research before you take your vehicle there. It sounds like a lot of other folks have had very rough times with the customer service there.

Matt was rude and not helpful at all today. Provided a quote double what other Maacos quoted for a fender to be painted. He became frustrated and asked husband to leave when we asked him to break down what the quote was for. We were advised to “take our business elsewhere”.

I own a fleet of 70 vehicles and Bellingham Maaco is my go to paint shop.Ive had over a dozen vehicles worked on at Maaco in the last 2 years, every single time Matt has saved me money and the rigs have looked good.Bellingham Maaco is a great option for anyone looking to get a very nice looking repair job at a much more budget friendly price then your average body shop.Theyre are reasons that the price is cheaper, they tape off quickly and may not be as perfect as other shops, but for budget minded folks they do very nice work for the money.Jon (Bellingham Maacos head painter) is a very good painter, incredible at matching colors and laying the paint on to match orange peel very well.My thanks to Matt, Jon and the team at Maaco!
