Went for the first time tonight, delicious! And as someone who cant have sugar for medical reasons, I love that they have a no sugar added ice cream option with a few different flavors! Will definitely be back!

My burgers have been great and the fries were crispy. The ice cream is delicious. And, they serve Excel soda products on tap. Im a bit picky when it comes to having Ski on tap, and the Ski here is delicious.Also, the staff is helpful, friendly, and patient.

Very Very Clean, very bright, friendly atmosphere. Food is good and fresh, Service is wonderful. And ice cream is one of the best I have had in a while. Plenty of parking you can inside or outside. Overall just nice and family oriented. I LOVED IT.

This place is a local institution. The ice cream is great and the hot food is actually really good. Theres always a line but you move quickly through it. No real complaints.

I hadnt been here in years. I ordered 1 Large Chocolate & 1 Extra Large Chocolate/Peanutbutter Milkshake. My total was SEVENTEEN DOLLARS!!!If they were EXCEPTIONAL, DELICIOUS milkshakes I would kinda understand. But these were hardly that. My XL was partially melted when I got it. Which was confusing, considering that there were CHUNKS OF ICE in the Ice Cream. Ill be going back to Dairy Queen or Waltons from now on.Girl at the window was very friendly(& got them the extra star!).

Always loved this place. Amazing food, great service. Based on a visit this week though it seems the service may not be as great as it once was, my food order was sitting out on the counter for about 20 minutes until I asked about it. Never got the side either but I forgot to ask. Mistakes happen. No complaints otherwise, ice cream is still amazing!

This was the first time we actually went inside sat down and ordered food. The inside has sort of a nostalgic feel to it - which I loved. My husband and I both had burgers and agreed that the food was great! AND of course the ice cream was delicious!

I love this small mom and pop throw back. The ice cream is great, and the ambiance is exactly what uou would expect from a small ice cream diner. Theyve really made the effort to keep up with the times and meet the demands of their customers without losing the feel that made them successful in the first place. Go support local!!

Its okay. I know several people who rave about the place, but I like the ice cream from at least a couple of other places better. The food is likewise okay. Not great, not terrible. Honestly this place is way over hyped. If youre nearby, sure go for it. Otherwise go somewhere else.

Ridiculously busy but worth the wait. On a hot summer day, go to white cottage and get your ice cream and frozen yogurts. Theyre really good and lots of flavors to choose from.

Locally owned and delicious! Love their burgers and the ice cream selections are enormous. Fresh new flavors are frequently added to the menu. Great friendly staff as well. HIGHLY recommend making the trip from anywhere in the area to check out this gem.

As Ive said, ice cream is my favorite food group and White Cottage is top shelf. If you are a German Chocolate cake fan, by all means, try their German Chocolate sundae...it starts with butter pecan ice cream and butterscotch syrup and you can imagine the rest. yum yum

Grateful this place is closed. Undone burgers when asked for them well done, condiments were left out of bag so I went back 3 minutes after the closing time and was blatantly ignored, and so much more I could say!

Been here before for ice cream and treats. But today I decided to try the Cottage burger and it was fantastic. Very thick good quality burgers tasty and juicy and not over cooked. Also got a side of fries and cheese sauce, Which I wasnt the biggest fan of the cheese sauce was a little basic but not the worse Ive had for sure. They have great food and great treats alike so it is a great choice no matter what ur after!!!!!!

The ice cream is very good the service is very poor I guess they were kind of busy but didnt seem like it so the experience was very not really good so unfortunately 1st time ever visiting

We stopped for the first time. Had homemade ice cream cones, including no sugar added blueberry. Very good! Will try the food next time as the last at the window raved about their food.

Not nearly as good as “I Scream You Scream” in O’Fallon. Been 3 times now and have been less impressed each time. Plus, I asked the person taking the order about sizes and making sure all the ice cream fit in the cone and somehow I ended up with the towering monstrosity I was trying to avoid? Yeah that’s never enjoyable.

White Cottage is a local favorite. If you dine in, expect the charm of a classic diner with burgers and other sandwiches. And then there is the ice cream... You can order it with a meal, or you can walk up to the window outside and skip straight to dessert. (Try the Cherry Garden!) If it is a hot summer night, expect a line, but they do a good job of keeping it moving.

Sad they were out of lemon custard tonight but the mint chip is good too. Staff is always friendly and the ice cream is delicious.

5/25/21. Advertised special Carolina BBQ its not! This special was actually grilled chicken breast, not pork,with super smoky and too sweet bbq sauce. Fried cod was freeze dried and over fried. House made chips were undercooked. Ice cream was great! Drop the grill and stay with the chill!

Its a rite of spring to have White Cottage open for the season. Friendly staff, homemade ice cream (including yummy sugar-free) and safe indoor and outdoor seating. Plus, I love their party melts and waffle fries!

Ice cream was great. Service mediocre. Ended up leaving without one of my items because I was tired of waiting after the kids had finished theirs.

We went for lunch. We had cottage Burger & corn dog meals. Everything cooked perfectly. Loved that soda machine was local soda company.

These folks are awesome! Full menu no matter if you just want something sweet or its meal time they aim to please. Honestly the best burger in Belleville. Always fast and fresh. If you never eaten here you dont know what your missing. Just wish they were open year round but hey when youre great at what you do...you can do it when you want to.

Food was great but they were very unorganized when it came to taking orders. I had someone come in, get their order taken and leave before I had my order taken. I was at the counter and instead of asking who was next, the girl went up to the other people and asked for their order.

They have awesome hamburgers. Each patty is 1/4 pound.Their ice cream though....its to die for. They have so many different flavors, cones, shakes, malts, concretes, sundaes, specialty sundaes and concrete. Banana split...which is huge. They also have a 5 scoop banana split. Thats also have something called a pigs trough, which is 15 scoops of ice cream....great for parties.They also make sugar free ice cream, the flavors change constantly, but they are good.

This is a classic, must visit at least ten times a year, neighborhood feel-good destination. Personally, the malts are the best in Belleville. White Cottage is THE place to go after taking the kids to baseball, soccer, football, etc. practice and games. They have a small staff but are surprisingly fast with their service times. The entire property is very clean. I took my family and my dog here after visiting a couple local parks. There are many tables for outdoor seating as well as indoor seating. They also had a water bowl out for dogs. I brought four of my children with me on this trip. The server was new. I received two incorrect items. She also didnt realize the water for dogs was free of charge. She was still very friendly, as were all of the staff. The manager made my order right, apologizing along the way. I would suspect it is just an onboarding opportunity for improvement. They also sell t-shirts. Get one and represent! This is a must visit destination if you are anywhere remotely close to White Cottage.

Very unsatisfactory!! I ordered there BBQ chicken special, i waited 15 mins then went and checked on my order come to find out it was done just sitting there! When i went to eat it everything was cold nothing was hot from sitting then when i asked for a refund all i got was excuses why they couldnt give me a refund! Will not come back to this establishment!!

This place is great. Ice cream tastes great and they have something for everyone. Also had a burger and even though it was not the best burger ever it would give most places that specialize it burgers a run for there money. Place a large order for 4 people burgers, fried mushrooms, and Sundays and even with them being busy everything was done quickly. Expect a line on a hot summer night but this is definitely worth the wait.

Im an ice cream lover. This is a little drive but it is worth it. We (7 of us) all got something different. I had a Coke float. Hadnt eaten one of those in a while. Had it with soft serve vanilla.
