If I could give this place 0 star I would. Everything is extremely overpriced for basic ice cream, you’re better off going to a Carvel or literally anywhere else. Asked for a bowl on the side so my mom wouldn’t drop her ice cream and the worker was so rude to me and refused to give one even though I literally saw bowls on the counter. Wanted some hot fudge on the side and the worker gave me a nasty response about that not being allowed. Also the speaker thing to talk through didn’t seem to be working or something and that probably made the situation worse. Will NEVER come back here with how nasty the older lady at the counter was. Absolutely horrible customer service. Don’t waste your time and money at this place.

Great variety of flavors and offers! The display turn my grandkids so excited that I have opted to reroute my errands when I take them with me. Anyway, I like ice cream too!

If it doesn’t specify, don’t ask. They won’t give. Even for just adding Reese’s pieces in a plain chocolate milkshake yet you can add it on a sundae.

Had the 🍒 slushy - talk about FROZEN!!! 😅🤣😂Only drank half of it because it was so frozen - couldnt get it up the straw. Wouldve been easier if it was 80+ degrees outside.Cute place 😍🥰

This place is NOT ACCESSIBLE. It was extremely difficult to get to the counter. There is no curb cut or hand rail. I almost fell getting up and down the step. The ice cream is expensive, too.

I believe is the only Ice Cream place in town, so they get away with the HIGH PRICES, service is ok.Theres no ramp for someone on a wheelchair. The attitude of the old woman has changed, I frequently go to this place and have noticed that.

BROWNIE SUNDAY WAS SLOPPY, tasted very old including the hard brownies! I called to complained and the lady with heavy accent was very rude and refused to provide me with her name and manager. I WILL BE STOPPING BY!!!

Called to ask if they had vegan ice cream since my daughter is allergic to dairy and the women who responded said, “I’m not allowed to give you that information, only information I can give you is that we close at 9” and hung up. Like what ? Why would I even consider to make that drive if there’s a 50/50 chance they don’t have vegan ice cream. I just thought it was so weird and rude. First impressions are a big deal and my first customer experience with them was already a bad one.

First time ordering a chocolate dipped vanilla on cone and the asking price is $5.12?? Since when did it cost that much? That’s a price of a whole ice cream container at shop rite. . They need to reconsider their price value because that was not worth its price.

Definitely too expensive for just ice cream. I ordered a large vanilla ice cream on a cone and a small vanilla ice cream on a cone and was charged $10.00. It was nothing out of the ordinary to get charged this amount. This is the first and last time I will go to this place! I do NOT recommend this place to anyone.

Quite a few ice cream options. Pricier than the grocery store. Ordered a choco taco and the waffle Cone tasted kind of stale. And the ice cream itself was already melting when I opened the package. Maybe higher freezer temperature would help keep it fresh and more enjoyable.

Horrible customer service. Some of the prices are ridiculous. I stood and waited at the counter for about five minutes before any employee noticed I was waiting to be served. It also smelled like sour milk. It may be time for the Ice Cream machine to be cleaned. Definitely not worth the drive!!

Way to pricey for what they give you

This place has a vast and excellent selection of ice creams from simple vanilla custards on waffle cones to SpongeBob pops and even some products that arent ice cream such as gummy Krabby Patties and sour candies. You can get your cones dipped in several syrups and with toppings. This also applies to sundaes and even soda floats (yes, they have those too). Overall, its a wonderful place to visit during the hot months of the year (it closes when the climate starts getting cold) and the ladies at the counters are very friendly. Not to mention that everything there is cheap. Ever since the Ritas across the street closed, this place undoubtedly became the best place to get ice cream in town!

Ice cream is pretty great, but way overpriced. I would rather go to Walmart and buy 1 pound of ice cream. I would recommend going to a store and getting ice cream there.

The ONLY true ice cream spot in Belleville. Tried and true from the 50s. You cant go wrong here.

I have been going to this place for year and this year the prices have sky rocketed ever since Rittas ice cream closed for what u get it isnt worth the price ur better going to shop right and buying a week worth of icecream for the price they are charging

First because I cant rate these people on yelp which was my first option, funny how its not listed on yelp .Let me start by saying we are not in upper montclair at Applegate farms, for those prices in that part of belleville on the newark border your absolutely insane .Way overpriced!!! I ordered 2 scoops of mint chocolate chip on a sugar cone not waffle cone, a kiddie cup scoop of chocolate ice cream, and a soft serve on a reg size cup with fudge and nuts$16.25. Your crazy and the ice cream isnt even that great. For those prices I couldve gone to shoprite bought a huge tub of ice cream, toppings and then invited my next door neighbor who I cant stand to eat 16.25 worth of ice cream! Get out of here!And dont bother asking for napkins BECAUSE youll get 2 ask for more and you get a face because napkins are a commodity there.Customer service goes along way!Overpriced and overrated. First and last.
