Clean and bright commissary! Excellent selection available, some items have very competitive prices compared to town. Very professional and customer service oriented employees, regardless of primary job. Im impressed.

Nice, medium size commissary. Super helpful staff. Unfortunately, items are often out of stock. Not sure if this is a supply chain issue, or something going wrong with ordering. Otherwise, a great benefit for active duty and retired members in the area

The produce is the best Ive seen in any other Commissary. They were absolutely fresh and clean. The employees were very professional and courteous. The baggers were also very friendly and courteous that I felt good to tip the nice lady five dollars, because it was well deserved.

As a retiree, this is a fantastic benefit for both the active and retired military community. Excellent prices for deli and meat department. My go to place for stocking up before camping or BBQ weekends.

I do enjoy the Hanscom Commissary for shopping being a retired Army fellow. I just dont understand why peppers are bought outside the USA. It cant be the price because I can get a Canada or Mexican peppers at the local market for the same cost or less. Maybe, the USA doesnt grow peppers which is hard to believe. If I was looking for green okay USA, but I like red, yellow and orange.

Store is good but restroom a disgrace for being a military installation.

The Hanscom Commissary the best products. At very great prices. Friendly atmosphere. And when youre done, they wheel out your groceries for you and place it in your vehicle. But you have to be in the air Force to get on Base or a family member in the service.

Prices are no longer competitive with Aldis and Pricerite. No longer a benefit to service persons and their families. Just convenient to onpost residents.

Its a really nice place, and it also serves sushi. My dad usually comes here mostly so he can buy groceries, but my brother likes to eat sushi and my younger brothers want sweet stuff like ice cream.

It is a bit small and dated but is your typical commissary. I do wish it had a fresh seafood counter, though. You do have to carefully check expiration dates as well.

Great place to get your groceries on base. Their prices are low and no tax as usual. They have a verity of options to choose from. If youre looking for a quick lunch you can get something hot at the deli or grab a cold sandwich or salad located to the left of the deli. Their checkout lines are quick and easy to get through. They also sell seasonal candy. If you need a place for food this is the spot!

Depending on your needs you can find many good items at a reasonable price. If you need help finding an item the staff is more than willing to help. Over all you will find it a very good place to get groceries.

They have great prices on meats. The staff is helpful and friendly. The baggers are always there to help.

Great prices compared to the local grocery stores. Dont typically buy my meats here but everything else is great and you cant beat the prices. Hard to believe but they actually have great sushi rolls.

Produce could do better as well as the meat section. Sales are not as good as the bigger installations. Not a big variety in what is offered, employees are really nice and truly to be helpful.

Ive been retired from the military for five years now. After, looking for ways to save money I decided to return to the commissary. I can say following years of shopping at favorite local and national food markets I noticed a significant reduction in cost after a few months of shopping at the Hanscom Commissary. The produce, deli, and meat selections are comparable to favorite local supermarkets at a considerably reduced price.

Excellent place to save on groceries. Watch expiration dates though...

Best little commissary in the Air Force! They always have what I need, and the shopping is stress free. Theres a woman named Sharmin who works there and is by far the most helpful and friendly employee. Give her a raise!!!

Awesome staff

This is the worse DECA Commissary I have ever been to. The produce quality is below average; most of the Fresh Produce isnt fresh. The fresh chicken expires in two days. And on top of all of that, Ive been having issues with my so-called Rewards card and when addressed, the staff gave me lame excuses and didnt even attempt to help me; they just watched me struggle in attempting to create a new account. I lost my patience and just said, you know what!? Just charge me without my selected/clipped coupons and Im no longer coming here!!! Im retired US Navy and so with my late Father. He would turn in his grave if he knew what happened here today. You guys just lost a loyal Customer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hate shopping here... Would rather go off base where I dont have to fight with all the retires just to get a simple salad.

The produce section is awful. This is upsetting because the produce section is most needed by military service members to stay healthy. The stock never stays for long because it gets picked over by veterans and their extended families long before active service members can get there. This is due to the hours the commissary is open, which is only open during the hours active service members are working. The commissary does not cater to active service members. Many times I have witnessed senior citizens eating and drinking food in the isles ( Im unsure of their intention of paying). I did however provide 2 stars for the availability of parking and for the availability of sustenance for our military force.
