Well now I see the light of where not to go. I guess when there is 6 staff members when you walk in you would think you will be helped, however not the case.After asked for my insurance repeatedly which I provided apparently no help from staff. So I need to look up my insurance and make the calls to see what my copay would be. Funny because when I have gone to Doctors before they are very helpful with checking my insurance and getting situated. Yet if your lazy and tell me well when you find out let us know you never should have left the car. I was able to see clearly after I left that establishment!!!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. Last year I went in to get sunglasses. The pair I picked were on back order. I was given the option to wait a couple of weeks to see if they became available. 2 months later, I get a call asking me to come in and choose a different pair because they werent going to be available at all.Gave them the benefit of the doubt and went back to them for glasses this year. I ordered my glasses on June 2nd. They arrived 06/19 WRONG. I work on the computer daily, and require blue light filter to manage migraines. The lenses that arrived did NOT have them.They expedited the correct lenses, and I received a voicemail today, 07/13, they had arrived. I went to exchange them on my lunch break only to find they are wrong AGAIN. The tech that ordered them didnt choose the correct frames, so these dont fit.Please, save your money and your time. Find a different clinic.

Very disappointed. Everything I was told by the “Fill In” Doctor wasn’t correct.I wasn’t told the doctor I saw, was just a fill in for the day. Now that I have an issue they just blame it on the fill in doctor. I feel it was a Complete waist of time and money. I’ll definitely be finding a new place.

Ive been coming to Harwood for years and have never had a bad experience, not once. They are the first and only clinic that have been able to properly assess my vision needs and provide me with adequate resolution. Due to my unique vision I honestly did not see until coming here.

Very good experience. The staff is courteous and super helpful. The office is very clean and I admired how they have implemented safety measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19. They also have a wide range of brand named frames to choose from. Frames are there for every budget but, but the lens are very expensive. The final bill could be very very high.

I love this place. Well I did, Im just super sanded to find out that they are sold to a corporate company. Family owned is the best way and going corporate is not cool.

The examination and professionalism of the medical staff is great; if could rate my experience based on that alone I would likely give five stars.Unfortunately, my experience acquiring my new specs was unsatisfactory. The gentleman who “helped” me was not able to assist in finding frames that matched my needs. I ended up researching and shopping for my own frames online and calling them in to the office to place an order. Fast forward about two weeks and I get a notification that my frames have arrived. I arrive to try them in only to find they are the wrong color. They tell me they’ll order the correct frames and I can use these in the meantime. I speak with the person helping me order lenses about my photo-sensitivity. They recommend transition lenses. Now, this is my first pair of specs which I will need to wear at all times so I figure it’s worth the extra money to give the transition lenses a shot. They place the order for my lenses with transition and I wait again.Four days pass and I get a notification that my order has arrived. I drive to the clinic to pick them up only to be told I should not have received the notification because they don’t have my order.I wait againThree or four days again and then another notification. I pick up my prescription and wear them for a few days. I notice there’s a gap between the lens and frame due to the lens not being cut correctly. I also learn very quickly that transition lenses are not worth the extra money as they don’t darken enough to help photo-sensitivity. I return AGAIN to get my originally ordered frames in the right color and point out the gap, ask if they can remove the transition lens when making the proper lenses and the response I receive is, “Well, we’re not going to refund you because we’ve already been billed.”So, here I am waiting yet again for new lenses to be cut to my frames which I won’t see until they’re complete (understandable). I have requested the transitions on my new lenses not be applied, but still paying for them (not understandable).I did explain the situation to the office manager and she assured me they would speak to the Doctor and make it right considering the poor experience I was provided.I will update my rating based on what type of customer experience I receive from here on.

I have been Jerry Lathams patient for 4 years. He personally is a very good optometrist, very competent. The front office staff and eye lab, not so much. I called and told them I was having headaches and very blurred vision in my right eye. I felt it was a fairly serious condition, certainly extraordinary for me. I was told that there were no openings until the end of January (I called on December 8th). I tried to get them to make an exception because of the blurred vision. They said they might be able to fit me in December 30th. I asked for an emergency referral and got none. I dont understand this lack of empathy or care for a loyal patient. I will not be returning.

Loved how efficient the staff was. The mask wearing stresses everyone out but the staff put me at ease and the visit felt as if the pandemic wasnt happening. Thanks for putting me at ease!

Everyone is so nice and professional. There is hardly any waiting time. Modern equipped office. They take most insurance. Not just for eye exams they treat medical issues as well. The staff is very patient when selecting frames. They have nice selection of frames. I can see better than with other places since they have better quality progressive lenses.

I chose this Eye center because of convenience but Never again will I return! The customer service was horrible And the prices are OUTRAGEOUS and this is with good insurance !! I went in today 8/17-2020 to pick up my glasses and was given a case that was used with dust particles which I didn’t realize until after I got home so, I called up there to let them know I was given a case that was used and dirty with no apology just said to come back and they would replace it and he seemed annoyed that I call. Please avoid this place you would be better off going with one of the chains.. ijs

I had my eyes examined yesterday 12/29/2015 and the Dr and staff were amazing. I have past retinal issues and have a hard time with eye exams in general but the staff made me feel comfortable. The Dr made me feel like he was really trying to help me and get my vision correct.

They were wonderful. They spent the time to do a complete examination and answered all my questions. They made suggestions that have helped me significantly using my computer. Dr. Pham is wonderful as is LaFondia who did the initial tests. All in all, one of the best vision exams ever.

We just moved to Texas and part of settling in is searching for new healthcare providers. In need of new glasses, I met Dr. Latham. He is very nice, personable, and I trust him fully to take care of my eye needs. The exam was brief but thorough, so much better than my past experiences. He was precise in telling me how my eyes changed and perhaps I had too strong of a prescription which confirmed to me why I felt the need for new glasses. Rosie is very sweet and helpful with my frames and gave good advice based on my facial features. Ruben is very knowledgeable in the options in relation to my prescription and how it would vary in the lens vs frame. Things I didnt even know were factors! I really like this office and their staff. I am really happy I found this clinic!

Ive been a patient at the Harwood Vision Clinic for approximately 4 years. Dr. Granado-Cheney has shepherded me through two eye surgeries for early onset cataracts. She is terrific - patient, never rushes through the exam and is always thorough in her explanations. State of the art diagnostics, professional and always on schedule - never have waited more than a few minutes after check-in.The office personnel are great, too. Efficient, friendly, great at helping sort out insurance issues.Ive purchased glasses here in the past as well, using their in-store optician. What a convenience vs. the big box stores that often got the prescription wrong and had to remake. I used to live just a few blocks from this office, but have since moved. Matters not - these folks are worth the drive!

I love Misty.. The first time I came here, I have trouble with my insurance and I dont want to pay hundreds of dollar just for an eye exam but she rescheduled me so she can dig in to my med insurance and see if I will get a better insurance before having the mistake to pay big $$$

Ive been seeing Dr Latham for years. I skipped a year only because of my location of work. I regret not seeing him that year. The staff is so friendly. Bonnie and Reuben are top notch. Very personable and even though I only see them once a year they remember me.

I highly recommend Harwood Vision Clinic, but specifically Dr. Pham. I cannot express in words the efficacy and professionalism of Dr. Pham however, I will try.I have a serious eye condition: keratoconus and a very extreme case at that. Unfortunately, eye glasses are not an option for me therefore contacts are my only means for sight. I’ve always lived with mediocre contact fitting and lens prescription. For the first time in years I was able to see 20/20 because of Dr. Pham’s mastery of her craft. It wasn’t easy for her, during the exam she went above and beyond unsatisfied and unacceptable of any result but perfection for my sight. Her prowess of due diligence was as if it were her own eye sight she was correcting. I wish I met her years ago. I’m currently in law school which requires high level critical thinking through reading comprehension. Needless to say this is an arduous task with poor eye sight. Dr. Pham has made my final year in Law School and bar prep studies more manageable. I had major difficulty specifically when transitioning from one line to the next when reading. I plan on contacting her once I receive my JD. I never met Dr. Latham however, I can assume he saw her ingenuity and exceptional skill as an eye physician when choosing his staff.

I have lasik complications for almost 20 yrs and went to many Dr but no place have the dedication and patience like Dr. Pham provided for me. Her knowledge and expertise in optical field are one of a kind and hard to find.

My first eye appointment in more years than I would like to admit but it was excellent! The team welcomed me warmly when I walked in and they quickly got me setup in the system and began the tests.Each of the associates I worked with were friendly and happy to assist me and answer any of my many questions. The staff even helped me above and beyond to navigate my insurance company and that goes with that stuff.Dr. Latham was fantastic and very complimentary of my previous doctors surgery work. I had zero issues and they honestly told me exactly that. They didnt try to upsell me a bunch of stuff I didnt need but they gave me a free pair of disposable sunglasses and sent me on my way. Thanks guys! I promise not to wait 10+ years before I come again!

Took my teenage granddaughter there. She said Dr. Granado was nice to her and it was ok. That is high praise from a 15 year old. The office staff is pleasant and efficient. They gave me a card with the prescription and helped with the insurance claim. What was really impressive was the amount of time the ladies spent with her to find a pair of glasses. Her and her friend probably spent almost an hour looking at frames and trying them on. The ladies were pulling them out of drawers and cabinets to show her. They never got upset or frustrated with the two girls trying on and looking at almost every pair. Finally a choice! She was extremely happy with her choice of Coach frames. They were ready in around 10 days and fit well. She has been to this location twice and we have always been happy with the service we have received.

Probably my best experience at an eye doctor and getting eye exam and results efficiently. Dr. Latham was great and spent the time to listen. I am happy with my contacts and helped my over 40 eyes. Definitely recommend.

He is a very warm and personable specialist in this field and maintains a very substantial additional investment in the downstream retail products and personnel offering some of the best name lenses,frames and contacts in the business. We obviously highly recommend his practice to any new prospective patients.

I have used this clinic for over 20 years and will NEVER leave, even though I moved from the HEB area. I will travel whatever distance it takes to use them. They saved me from the hassle of trying to keep up with reading glasses by putting me in mono-vision soft contact lens and have remained my eye care professionals ever since. Dr. Latham is just awesome and I have never met an unpleasant staff member there. They are ALL kind, caring, professionals and they have the most modern equipment for vision care. I give them the highest recommendation possible to give.

I’m glad that my wife discovered Harwood Vision Center a three years ago! The friendly office staff are easy to talk with and quite helpful. With three highly competent O.D.s in the Vision Center, there is typically not a long wait to get an appointment. They offer a wide range of optometry services beyond simply eye glasses prescriptions. At my most recent visit I had a complete glaucoma test, at the request of my retina doctor. Both LaLa, the technician, and Dr. Granado explained everything they were doing, and answered all my questions in very understandable terms. I enthusiastically recommend HVC to everyone who may be looking for well rounded, competent Vision care, which is well connected to the best advanced eye specialists in the DFW area medical community.

I am used to Army doctors and usually go get my eyes checked at a local Walmart. I decided to get some individual vision insurance and try out this clinic. The experience was awesome, the medical staff was excellent, kind, and patient. I am normally pretty anxious when it comes to eye exams and I am used to them being unpleasant, but here I was put at ease. Dr. Pham explained everything and answered all my questions. I felt so comfortable I went and ordered a new pair of glasses after my exam. The pricing was competitive even without vision insurance.

First visit I showed up a 5:20 pm. Three female employees frowned and quietly stared at each other to see who would take the bullet to stay and serve me. It was so awkward I just left. They were relieved to see me go. But I saw a good selection of drill mounts, so I had to return. Second visit at 1:30 pm. Male in charge of fitting greeted me with a grumble and a frown. He was annoyed to assist me. He pulled my electronic records from the first visit, then disappeared into the back for 15 mins. Even my daughter noticed the coldness directed toward us. We slowly walked out and nobody even bothered to stop us. If you want to treated like a nuisance and inconvenience, this is the place to go. Terrible customer reception and service. Ill drive 50 miles the opposite way to be treated with gratitude and respect for my time and money.

The absolute worst place to have a eye exam! They over charge on everything and are quiet rude and demeaning to others that work there and/or patients. A lady by the name of Janice was rude not only to me but I over heard her speaking about other employees in a negative manner. While sitting in the exam room waiting for the Dr. Latham I over heard this lady talking about ordering the doctors personal triple X movies and having them sent to the office! I would recommend to anyone stay away from this place they are crooks rude and very unprofessional.

Ive used Dr. Latham for years. Dr. Pham, a recent addition to the team, doctor failed me on multiple points.She rushed the eye exam I paid hundreds for and gave me my OLD prescription as a NEW prescription. Fail.The office filled the so-called new prescription and charged me hundreds for new glasses that were useless, because they were my old prescription, not the new prescription I needed. That was a waste of several hundred dollars. FAIL.The glasses came back from the lab with flaws. That they didnt charge me for. It just added over a week to this saga.The new glasses didnt give me 20/20 vision. I had to repeatedly try to reach the doctor. When tested on an eye chart, my vision was 20/30. The lenses were not an improvement. No one told me until a later appointment (with a different doctor) that shed just given me my old prescription instead of recording anything different. FAILHer bedside manner was horrible. She initially dismissed my concerns. Then she minimized the problem, saying that 20/30 vision is fine because I can still drive. No, the astigmatism was worse, and that is a problem. Then she laughed at me, dismissing it as over 40 eyes (though I was 40 at the time), as if it is somehow my fault that, that my vision has magically gotten much worse in the weeks this comedy of errors has gone on.Wasted my time. Wasted my money. Didnt help me. Do not use Dr. Pham.When I had a different appointment to see Dr. Latham for a second opinion, I had to pay $200 out of pocket for that - to get the right prescription I should have received months before for the initial several hundred dollar exam.

I have been going to Dr. Latham for about five years none. He and his staff have aways been kind and professional to me and my wife. I would recommend and have recommended Bedford Vision Clinic to friends and family many times. Dr. Latham is very personable and will answer any and all questions.

I took my son here and it took over 2 1/2 hrs, I was told they would have me in and out in an hour and were so sorry. So I made an appointment for myself.I showed up 10 minutes early for my appointment, 35 minutes past my appt time I went to the desk to ask if I would be seen soon as I was on my lunch. 5 minutes later the woman came to get me, never applogized for running behind and brings me to the machines to start appointment. I explain I am on my lunch and have 18 minutes left. How long will the appoint take and for the doctor to actually see me. She tells me I will need to reschedule as they had other people before me so it would be another 20-30 to see the doctor, at least. That is 1 hour past my appointment time. This is completely unacceptable. Then they told me I could come back on Saturday. The woman told me this NEVER happens. I explained that wasnt true as it happened to me the week before. Not to mention the woman in the waiting (before me) from that left after 45 minutes stating she got a text, she told the person on the phone she was leaving, this was insane. Why would I go back? You wasted my time on 2 occations, why would I give you a 3rd chance to do it again? Honestly after being referred here, I was amazed at how they overbooked appointments, didnt leave time for emergencies, and didnt have the help, making each person wait inbetween each thing to be done. No organization or accountablilty. Will NOT return.
