Quick to sell you a car but the follow through on fixing problems is NONEXISTENT. I have been getting the run around for 6 months to solve a problem I was assured would be quick and simple to fix.

I came for emissions testing. Even though I do not own a VW, I found the service staff to be friendly and attentive. The service waiting area was bright and clean with available seating, restrooms and vending machine snacks. The public Keurig coffee machine was not in service, but that may be a COVID precaution. Mask protocols were noted in signage and being used by customers and employees.I was pleased with my experience here and I would return here for future emissions testing. I would recommend them to others as well.

I was interested in the 2021 VW Arteon and Minuteman was the only dealer within 20 miles that had the R-line I liked. Anthony helped me out and he was the best! The amount of knowledge he knew about the Arteon blew my mind as much as the actual car did! Typically car salesmen are very pushy to sell a car but I did not feel pressured with Anthony. Just his character and knowledge sold me on this car. John, the finance manager, was also a great guy to work with while signing paperwork. He was able to explain and answer all questions I had.

Bought a certified pre-owned 2018 Golf Alltrack station wagon here from with Tim Bishops help. No hassle, no pressure, friendly, and quick. Eric Kaminski at Minuteman was a fantastic salesman, in the fact that he didnt try to sell me anything. I told him what I was interested in, and he pointed me in a direction that I was willing to go. I had originally came in to buy a Jetta, but I ended up leasing a 2020 Passat. He found me the car that had the options I was looking for in a vehicle that we truly enjoy. Lets face it; nobody likes car-shopping. After spending a day at sleazy dealerships, Minuteman was a breath of fresh air. Big enough to fulfill all of your dealership needs, but small enough to not feel like you are in a car-selling mill. Sean the finance manager was also very friendly. Ill certainly consider Minutemen again, and Id recommend them to you as well.

My wife brought her car in after losing 1st and 2nd gear in her 2015 golf. I have to say I was highly disappointed in our experience with the service department. To start a clutch assembly was pressed on her during the COVID19 pandemic, she is out of a job and I am working at half my regular salary. It felt like they would not cover the transmission unless we bought a 2,000 dollar clutch assembly. when picking up the car nothing was explained to us on what they did to her vehicle after having it for 2 months. I asked for a Massachusetts state inspection to be performed on the car, it was not done we left with an expired sticker. The vehicle had grease marks on the arm rest and the drivers door panel the interior of the vehicle is ivory so it stained the leather. The exterior of the car was dirtier than when we dropped the vehicle off. When cashing out we asked the cashier to place the payment on two separate cards, the payment was put on one card even though we asked several times to put it on two cards. As a dealership master Technician I know how a department should be run and even with the pandemic that does not excuse laziness my wife and I experienced.

Service was easy to schedule online - I was able to get an appointment for the next morning. The shuttle service made it easy for me to drop off the car. They drove me to work in Burlington and picked me up at the end of the day. Very convenient.

After my local Merrimack NH dealer tested my patience (and my internal B.S. detector) for the last time, I went to Minuteman and was very happy. Eric was a great salesman. Very easy and honest. And although the finance guy looked genuinely hurt every time I said No to buying an extended warranty (many times), he was really quite nice. I have sold cars before so I know the business, and Minuteman is great.

I just started a lease at Minuteman VW this past week. I have been enjoying my car immensely! Cameron helped me throughout the whole process. He was one of the most relaxed car sale person that I have met, which made the process enjoyable and pressure free. He was very great resource and even texted updates! Cameron and his team were exemplarily and even stayed much longer passed the closing time on a Saturday night to make sure that everything was set before leaving the dealership! I havent used the service center yet, but I was told that I would be able to get a loaner car, if I needed. Which, I think, is a great benefit of this location!

Price was right, and the sales people were kind and helpful. If they were a little more organized we would have been done quicker, but they kept us entertained with stories and snacks while we waited. I particularly appreciated how Shirley went through all the features of our car after we signed the deal. We will get much more enjoyment out of it after having a good introduction.

This was my first time at Minuteman Volkswagen. I was able to schedule my service on line and pick the date and time that worked for my schedule. As I arrived to the dealership I was greeted by a friendly service attendant who had me on the list for service. I was then taken inside and introduced to the service manager. He was very friendly and explained to me what was going to happen to my car during its service.I found them to be very friendly and efficient. I had such a bad experience purchasing my car at a different dealer that I was forced to find a different dealer for service. Minuteman has exceeded my expectations on my car service.I highly recommend them. I hope my second service will be as good as the first one, but I have no doubt it will be.

Bought my VW at a different dealer. Came here in MA to get my sticker with no appointment. I was greeted immediately upon arrival by Noah (per my service receipt) who told me it would only be a half hour or so. It took even less than that. The dealer is going through a little construction but it isnt in the way at all. Several people said hi and asked if I needed help. Nice place, good people. And thanks to Noah for being nice, he was my first impression at Minuteman. I now intend to have all my service done there on not one, but two 2019 VWs.

I called the dealership indicating that I was interested in selling the Volkswagon that I had purchased from this exact dealership 3yrs ago. Since it was a Sunday, I was calling to make sure that the relevant people (purchasing manager, used car manager, shop people... whoever they need to make the decision and execute the transaction) would be around for the trade. Oh, yes, no problem, come on down they told me. I further explained that this would mean me driving 1.5 hours from my home, so round trip 3 hrs out of my day. I was assured the necessary people were there, so I drove down for a 2:30 meeting.The person I spoke to on the phone was not available or around. The salesperson I spoke to took a look at the car, drove it around the lot to test it out (for reasons unknown since he couldnt make the decision to buy the car), then basically told me the used car manager is not in today.Bait and switch. All in, with traffic, my afternoon wasted.To be fair, the salesperson apologized after I called to complain, and they did call back today with a price for the car (about 40% of what I think I can sell it for myself). But the phone call earlier in the day left a pretty bad impression.

I am quite satisfied with my experience at Minuteman VW. The staff was kind, helpful and knowledgeable. The estimated cost of my service was given to me before they took my car in, and the price ended up being drastically less than it was originally estimated. (Which was a nice surprise) The service representative checked in with me while the car was in process to give me an idea of the time table for picking up my car would be and to let me know that no further issues came up during the service. All in all, I am happy with the outcome and will continue to bring my car here.

My 2002 Beetle was in for an oil change and in the course of the service the mechanic detected a problem that could have been major if it were not addressed. Minuteman took care of it, provided me with a ride home since it would have been too long to wait, and made every effort to get the car back to me by the end of the day. The actual cost was less than quoted,I particularly want to commend Derek Liberty. He has been most helpful not only on this occasion but on previous occasions.

Had a great experience with Cameron from the service department the other day. Car cost less than quoted and repairs finished two days ahead of schedule. Will be back for service!

Stay far away if you need a state inspection. I took my wife’s car here for a new inspection sticker, and the car was failed due to play in the front end/steering column. I was already a bit skeptical since I hadn’t experienced any symptoms of excess play, but I took the car to my mechanic who was completely unable to replicate the issue, and even said that their tech with state inspection experience would have passed the car if they performed inspections. I took the car back to get re-inspected with the report from my mechanic and they failed it again for the same issue, telling me to go to a dealer who would have more experience with the make. I took this advice and the dealer was also unable to find any issues with play in the front end, or any other problems at all. I paid the dealer the additional inspection fee and they passed the car with no work needed, rather than go back here and have them fail it again for a problem that never existed.The one star on this review is for the customer service folks since they were all very courteous. The only thing I accomplished by bringing the car here for an inspection was wasting $35, and hours of my time.

Recently changed to this dealer for regular service. They charge about 25% less for 10k service intervals and are definitely friendlier than VW dealership in Wellesley. Hopefully they maintain that as other dealership acted nice in beginning and then they tried to oversell and overcharge on other visits. Service is explained in detail and they didnt try to sell other services that can wait. Somehow they even fixed a persistent stearing issue I had complained about but was not diagnosed or addressed specifically. Could have been just the positive attitude.

Ive always had a positive experience at Minuteman from sales to service! The service xpress makes it really quick and easy to get an oil change without an appointment like I did on my recent visit. The staff goes out of the way to make sure you feel welcome and that youre satisfied while youre there. Not just me but I see and hear them treating all the customers that way while Im there!

Alright, so this review is for the service department, specifically Brent and Derek, Mike and now my first interaction with Christian. These guys and their crews consistently bend over backwards to help. I have had such an awful time with my TDI (the vehicle itself) and been bringing it here for service ever-since the issues started. These leads routinely under-promise and over-deliver which is unlike ANY dealership I have ever dealt with, and have never been disrespectful, rude, arrogant or waste my time in the least. Minuteman hired a fantastic group of service supers, technicians and support staff, and they deserve respect in return. Unbelievably professional, honestly, give them a shot, you wont be disappointed.

When you purchase a car at Minuteman VW, they ask you to bring it in for adjustment after a month. They checked it over up and down, I was updated during the work to confirm what they found frequently. Eric cleared up my questions about the blue tooth set up. They washed my car!! and I was on my way. Im very satisfied with this service.

A great price on a used Toyota Corolla brought me to Minuteman VW from my regular dealership and after several weeks of looking for a reasonably priced used car. The car was extraordinarily clean(even the tires!). Sales staff were professional and very knowledgeable despite being a VW dealership. I decided to look at another used Toyota Corolla with lower miles at another dealership just as a comparison and I immediately was disappointed with their sales tactics and aggressiveness. As I left that dealership, Minuteman called and wanted to make a deal, dropping their price just a little more making the purchase a no-brainer. As I drove in the pick up my car, Apurv (saleman I worked with) was out in the lot, buffing another car that was ready for delivery, checking it diligently. Apurv even took time the following week to help me get CarPlay and other features set up. Start to finish the experience was hands down the best dealership experience I ever had. The entire staff went above and beyond. I will certainly return to this dealership when I’m looking for a great car at a great price.

Most ideal car buying experience ever. I walked in, met Erick and asked to drive the car I liked. Within minutes, after the necessary questions and license photocopy, we were on the road driving the car. He answered my questions, and allowed me to have a nice drive. I left to evaluate other cars, to which I was comparing the car at Minuteman. I never felt pressured, or uncomfortable. No annoying phone calls or emails. When I went back a couple days later, I wanted to test drive it again to make absolutely sure I like the car. I took it for another drive and knew I wanted it. Steve, in the finance side of the house, was great. He gave me great advice on the licensure/title, since I came from NH to get the car. Bottom line: Great experience, friendly people, no pressure, excellent service, very accomodating.

I purchased a GTI here a few years ago. One time I brought it in for a regularly scheduled service, and as I was leaving the dealership after the service, my check tire light came on. I was sort of frustrated, because I would have they would have just checked the tires during the service. I called back to tell them, and they were very apologetic. I brought the car back the next day and they took care of it, and they added a credit to my account for a full detail (they charge $150 for it), which I took advantage of the next spring. I felt like they were genuinely interested in keeping me satisfied, and they did.More recently, I was hearing a noise in my car. I was trying to explain it to them, but they said the mechanics couldnt get the car to reproduce the noise. I said that I could probably reproduce it if I drove the car, so the head mechanic went for a ride in the car with me. (I couldnt reproduce the noise, which made me feel like a goon.) But I thought it spoke loudly of how the dealership is willing to please customers, that they would take time out of their day to go for a ride around the block with me.

Extremely refreshed on how friendly the staff was. I just went in to get wiper and I felt like I was part of a family. Wow!!!

The worst experience ever.Dont make a deal with these people ever!They will use petty sales techniques, cheap tricks, and false promises to get you where they want and get to your pocket.I had a really good deal with Mazda, so I sent a respectful email to Minuteman VW saying that I was not going to go with their offer and I was going with a competitor.They reacted with a new offer and convinced me to cancel the other deal I had, which I was not very comfortable with. As soon as I did that and sent them the documents, they had second thoughts on the price, and changed the model of the car we agreed upon, and made it sound like I did not understand them correctly, when I have clear emails for their offer!!!

Knowledgeable sales staff!

Buying a used (pre-owned) car from them was better than visiting the bigger car dealers. They did try to sell us some other cars but stopped when we said what we wanted.
