Haider is very good man. Prices are very fair, labor is done efficiently, and the waiting room area is very nice. Got an oil change at jiffy lube and couple days later Had a broken air hose going to my turbo I suspect they broke and didnt tell me or didnt know. had to get it fixed before I drove back to Central oregon. Mechanic took a look at it and told me it needed to be replaced with parts coming from manufacturer that they did not have and would take time I didnt have. Then took the time to show me another good semi permanent fix I can do myself with some jb weld and super glue. Solved the issue in about an hour. Much appreciated in a pinch!

I did Break oil change and many more things. Usually we just blindly trust the service shop. But When I went to other service station after some time, I came to know that break oil isnt changed at all and was still discolored. I am now doubtful about the other services they did too. This is too bad and dangerous for my car. I had went with reference, but still looks like they screwed me up

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!!! MY CAR WAS STOLEN AND THEY DIDNT DO ANYTHING!!! Apparently you can just walk in and point out a car you want and theyll let you take it. I took in my car to get the alternator replaced. After it was fixed, they told me they had let someone take my car. Never called me to confirm and I never authorized anyone else to pick it up. These people let total strangers steal my car. And now I might need to replace more parts because of this incident. They are not trustworthy, and didnt even take responsibility after it happened.Edit: So now my car has an extra $1000 worth of repairs AFTER they fixed my car. These were not issues before. Needs a new serpentine belt, new serpentine idler, serpentine tensioner, and a new clutch pedal sensor because of how the people who took my car drove it. Thanks Diamond Auto, thanks for making me pay almost 3 times what you almost charged me to get my car fixed because you cant even check ID or make sure the correct person picks up a car.

This review is way overdue! Haider and his team provide top-notch service! I have had my starter replaced and my fuel line on separate occasions and was very pleased with the efficiency and price. Unlike other auto shops Diamond Auto will inspect your car for the suspected problem before charging you any money. Haider is straight to the point and honest. He has never tried to upsell me on anything which I greatly appreciate. And when no other auto shops were open on Christmas day they took my car in and fixed it no problem. I have been living in the area for 6 months and I am happy to have found a reliable auto shop I can go to in the future!

So like couple weeks ago I had to change the transmission fluid, they did it, but it took more than what it was expected, but what really bothered me and make me leave this low review is not professionalism of the foreman, I cleaned my car in and out. but when I got it back the driver seat turned to oily and black color, plus the door and wheel stern add to that my car was full of gasoline smells. this is due to wearing oily and dirty cloths sitting in driver seat. the owner of this Auto repair seems to be a good man and maybe not aware of what the others are doing behind him, I will never go again and I also not recommended for anyone.

Warning: these guys are snakes. I paid hundreds for a new part and when I took it home, the problem still wasnt fixed. So Haider told me to bring it back. Took it back and god knows what they did with it. To this day the problem persists. Not only does it persist but they told me I still needed to buy a part after all was said and done. Going to take it to a dealership next time. Seriously guys, save your money and save your time.

My husband and I brought in our Mazda to get the driving belt changed on my car. We were told we it wouldn’t be too long so we waited outside for the service to be done. We ended up waiting 2 hours for the entire service to be done because we had to wait for the part to come in. Me being 8 1/2 months pregnant was not very happy that I had to stand and wait for that long when we were told it was going to be a short wait time. HOWEVER, the wait time mainly was waiting on the part to come in and the total service time was roughly 20 min or so. The mechanic ended up not charging us for any part or labor and gifted it to us for our baby and completely changed my attitude about the whole experience. They were extremely nice the entire time and made sure we were taken care of and on top of it all did this for us for free. Now I’m not saying they will do that for everyone because getting these things for free in these hard times do not happen very often. But I do want to make mention that this will forever be the place I take my car to for any problems I’m having and will happily pay what they charge. Diamond auto repair is 5 stars in my eyes and I’ll forever recommend this place. THANK YOU GUYS AGAIN FOR GIFTING US THIS AND TURNING AROUND OUR ENTIRE EXPERIENCE WITH YOU. We really appreciate it.

Took my car to this place for the first time today for an oil change and new spark plugs. Excellent communication and affordable prices. The gentlemen here are honest and friendly. They took the time to explain a couple of other things they noticed that I should take a look at, but they didnt push it on me or try to up sell in anyway. That right there was great in itself. I had my dodge dakota 2007 fixed here and it now runs and drives better than when I originally bought it 10 years ago. And they had it done in 3 days!! A valve spring had broke and so they had to replace the head. The engine was put together so well that everything was in its original place

Ive been here twice. Once for a power steering leak and again for a broken brake booster in my truck. Both times they were quick and I received my car quickly. If I had any extra questions they were gone over. The second time I came in they told me one or two days (a normal time) and they called me by the end of the first day with my car! Great service and good work!

The most honest mechanic I ever worked with.I took my 2003 sl500 Mercedes to different mechanic because my car was making a terrible noise and they quoted me $800 to fix it. I brought the car to Diamond Auto Repair It took the mechanic hour and a half to find out exactly the problem and he charged me $175 . Something to do with the hydraulic . I really recommend this shop to everybody . Give it a try and you will be happy.

Brought my Toyota Matrix in because the tail lights were not working, but my brake lights were working fine. Haider and his boys solved the problem and fixed it in under 10 minutes. Didn’t have to pay much at all either. I would definitely bring my car here again if I need to, and would recommend diamond auto repair to anyone in the area looking to get their car fixed for a fair price.

Definitely recommend this place. My car would not start on a Sunday, when most auto shops were closed. Luckily, I found Diamond auto repair, which opens on Sundays. They replaced the starter motor in a few hours for me so that I can drive to work on Monday. The owner/mechanics is reliable and honest. The price is fair. I am very happy about my experience.

I was so grateful to find this shop on a Fri night who would repair my car over the weekend (when the dealership couldn’t fit me in for almost a week!). Haidar is the most amazing mechanic I have come across in Oregon. I have been to Diamond Auto Repair multiple times with many problems in my Acura starting from compressor, rotors, serpentine belt to even collision repair damage, and every time they have provided me great repair service. The mechanics are highly knowledgeable and the rates are also reasonable. I have seen them fixing all kinds of cars ranging from Japanese to high end German cars. I would highly recommend Diamond auto repair to anyone having issues with their cars.

My car died on Sunday morning & wouldn’t start even after jumpstarting, so I got it towed here as it was close to my apartment and had many positive reviews.Haider was great. He was straight to the point, didn’t show any frustration over my many concerned calls/text messages, didn’t make wishy-washy statements about how long it will take for the car to be looked at or fixed, didn’t attempt to sell any additional services. He looked at my car that morning and when I asked him if it would be possible to fix my car on the same day or should I reserve a rental car for Monday, he did his best to finish my car and I was able to pick it up in the late afternoon! Pricing was also reasonable for what needed replacement. I’ve never had a smoother auto repair experience!

I originally had this place fix my alternator, on my drive home I realized I couldnt steer my vehicle. My power steering had went out, which prior this was never an issue. I called took my car back and after another few hundred he said I could come pick it up it was fixed. I began driving home once again and I didnt even make it to see Portland and my car began making a loud ticking noise, which has only gotten worse over these last two weeks. So Ive spent over 600 and each time Ive taken it in to fix one problem when I pick it up it now has a new problem...so now my 2009 Nissan with only 85,000 is not drivable and I dont have more money to keep fixing what this shop has messed up. So at this point I now have to cut my losses and find a new mechanic to come diagnose and fix my car. Never again will I trust this place. When I first called about my car and the issue it had the first time after he worked on it..he told me that I had a high milage vehicle, which I then had to inform him that no it only had 85,000 which made me realize that he didnt even take the time to look at it, he was just assuming or blaming his mistakes on the fact that it was an old car.

This shop was wonderful. Open on the weekends and took our car on a Saturday! We were worried because we have been screwed over by mechanics before. Not this time! I have been coming to Hayder the owner of Diamond Auto Repair for the last 5 years even before he moved to this new place. Hes a great guy and I like his honesty and diagnosis of the car problems I brought to him. He did a transmission, timing belt, water pump, radiator, body repair and paint, brakes, and many other jobs on different cars I owned over the years. His price is fair if not cheaper than many other places. I highly recommend this place.

I woke up to my car not starting and called diamond auto, who quoted me well under what my dealership was going to quote me (300ish, compared to 700ish) for a new starter. They ordered the starter upon receiving my phone call and my car was finished a few hours later. They were quick, efficient, and had integrity when I was asking questions. I’ll definitely be coming again for any car needs!

I live in Central Oregon. I was in Beaverton visiting family for the weekend. My F150 had a flashing engine light and a serious loss of power Sunday morning. I limped into Haiders shop. He diagnosed the problem in minutes and had me up and running in a matter of hours, on a Sunday! I was able to drive home Sunday afternoon on schedule too. He was very fair and thorough in his work. I strongly recommend this company.

Got my brakes worked on, and my oil changed, my experience was much like everyone elses who has posted a review, fast, high quality work, a very reasonable price, spectacular customer service. The location is very convenient, if youre going to wait for the work theres plenty of places in walking distance to eat or relax, and a wonderful little park that makes for a great 15 minute walk.

I would rate this place 10 stars if I could. Story time: I was traveling through Portland on a Saturday. My Subaru Outback starts having transmission issues, I crawl into Portland that night. I have to be in Seattle by Monday so I call up every auto mechanic in the Portland area. Theyre all closed on Sundays, Haider is the only one who responds. I take it to him, he hears my emergency, walks me through exactly whats wrong with my car and then works with the Subaru dealer to get the part I need. He tells me to go away for a couple of hours as he goes to work draining my transmission/removing the faulty valve body/replacing it/filling the transmission back up (giving me a good deal on fluid too) and tests the car repeatedly when its done, ALL THE WHILE sending me pictures of his progress and keeping me posted. Im back on the road Monday afternoon and my car has been running great ever since. Haider went so far above and beyond the call of duty for me and didnt take advantage of me when I was in a tough spot. Hes trustworthy, honest, and knows what hes doing. If you have a car, let him take care of it for you. Haider, thanks so much!

I just had to start this New Year off right by expressing what a life saver Haider with Diamond Auto Repair is!!! So a few weeks back I went into a local car service chain for an overdue oil change and they informed me that my starter and battery were on their last leg....noted. So last Saturday evening, I went to head out to a holiday party to find my car wouldn’t start. No biggie, I’ll let it sit overnight and should start up the next morning...NOPE! Still yet to hit panic mode, I called AAA for a jump-well, he tried to give me a jolt but when your starter is dead, you can jump your battery till the cows come home, but your car will not turn on. Still not panicked, AAA suggests a mechanic that’s open on Sundays-YAY! Luckily, I called ahead to make sure they were open and they were, they just couldn’t work on my car till Monday which wasn’t gonna fly. Sooooo, off to google I went in search of a mechanic that was actually available on a Sunday. Diamond Auto Repair jumped out at me - my dog’s name is Diamond and I felt it was a good omen and boy was it! I called and Haider answered right away. I told him the problem and he said he could have me all fixed up the same day and he would even order the part so that it would be there by the time I got there with the car. I was in and out within two hours!!! On a freaking Sunday, y’all!! Car has been running like a dream since and I must admit it was the less stressed I’ve felt when dealing with car issues. I mean, they’re open today on a national holiday, need I say more??!!!Thank you again, Haider, I’ve definitely found my new mechanic. Oh! Fixed my truck the same day on a Sunday! These boys work hard, did an awesome job, and were friendly. Try getting that from other places. This would have taken two weeks to get fixed at likely double the cost and an expensive car rental at Nw Jeep.

Nice job! Very effective and thorough fix and reasonable prices. My car had problems with the front wheels (being an old car) and used to shiver on driving and turning. This was previously fixed in a bare minimum way by another local mechanic, but the fix wasnt very effective. Hyder identified and fixed all the several old and worned out parts of the wheel, sway bar, bushings, tie rod, ball joints etc. He also let me inspect the worn out parts before fixing. After fixing, he let me test drive. I could really feel the difference -- the car feels solid and smooth, like a newer car. He also did not charge an arm and a leg, but just reasonable prices for the parts and labor. I appreciate and highly recommend business with him.
