I can’t understand why people saying the service is bad here... I came for the first time a Sunday morning and everything was excellent... such a sweet staff and especially the lady took my order... I had a hot coffee latte with caramel and cream and it was just the way I want it... nice, warm and cosy coffee place with a good selection of snacks and chocolates also... I was satisfied with everything in this place so I will return for sure soon enough...

I love their chai latte!!!!! And its so cool, you can experiment with flavors by having them put in pumps of different syrups for each time if you like. And my lady adores the High lander grog latte with soy or oat milk. I also love that they have ALL the milk options too!

Winans at the Greene is awesome! The staff is friendly and the coffee the best. We went this morning and the shop looks like a postcard. Warm, comfortable, and inviting. If you arent in the Christmas and holiday mood go get a coffee and you will leave in great spirits!

Full disclosure...I worked for winans for almost 7 years. I havent for at least 2. all of the new baristas always make my order correctly and Ive never had bad service. a PLUS: their loyalty program is great. the only downside to this particular location is that since its at a popular outdoor mall, the parking can be difficult.

This was my first visit to Winans but it wont be my last! I had an iced coffee, which was very good and 2 pieces of delicious, dark chocolate covered caramels. There is a parking area across the street so it was most convenient!

Who knew we could have coffee shops much more special than Starbucks! What goes better with coffee than fine chocolate - perhaps a pastery or dessert or perhaps nothing. And better yet there are seasonal favorites such as a variety of caramel apples with various chocolate dips, too. The vast variety of chocolates are made locally by a family company. Likewise, there are many coffee blends. Feel free to bring your electronic devices and smell the coffee with all the extras you can think of and great chocolates. Enjoy!

Best coffee Ive ever had. Whitney, the manager, gave great recommendations when it came to coffee, chocolates and wine! She helped us pair the chocolates with the types of wine and coffee we purchased. Great environment for a date night or study session. Highly recommend you place Winans as a stop spot if passing through Dayton!

I went specifically for truffles. They were hit or miss...Dark Sea Salt Caramel - nice. Basic and exactly what you’d expect.Peanut Butter Delight - fine. Nothing special.Buckeyes - a little better as far as peanut butter and chocolate.Bavarian Mint - very nice. The inside was a dark chocolate mint ganache. This was one of my favorites.Butter Cream - super sweet! Too sweet for me.Miss Clara - it was described at a caramelized pecan. I assumed it had a soft center. Wrong. Hard center. That’s just not my thing.Highlander Grogg Cream - divine! But Very sweet. Like, you might want to eat half and then finish the next bite later or you might have a headache.Cookie Dough - another favorite for me. Mostly because it wasn’t overly sweet and had a nice texture.I’m not sure that I’m gonna rush back to this place. But if I do return, I’d definitely just go for the Bavarian Mint and the Cookie Dough.

Love their coffee and chocolate! I always get the Iced Mocha Latte, sometimes with a flavor. This time I got Irish Cream in my iced mocha and it was delicious 😋 for me its the perfect mix of sweet and coffee. ❤️ I dont get the decaf because its too bitter for me so it doesnt taste the same.

The coffee is so flavorful! The chocolates and other candies are just an added bonus. It is a great pit-stop on your shopping tour of The Greene or maybe a great final destination after the events offered the square.

I absolutely LOVE their coffee, even just the brewed black coffee is outstanding. The employees are always amazing and helpful, as well. This place is an amazing and I hardly ever go to Starbucks anymore unless Im far away from my Winans!

Cant say Ive had better coffee anywhere else! Do yourself a favor and stop buying burnt coffee from Starbucks! Swallow your pride and spend $2.00 on Winans drip coffee blends, then drink the coffee, then contemplate how life sucked before that cup of coffee, then go home and kiss your spouse with opened eyes and greater appreciation for existence! 🤯🤩

When I walked in it was pretty busy so I expected a wait. But when my order got pushed back behind two other orders I started to lose patience. I had to go up and ask about my order which they admitted had been pushed back for no reason. I waited 19 minutes for a hot chocolate. When it was finally ready, they didnt make it with coconut milk as I had paid for. She offered to remake it but by that time I was done waiting and just told her I didnt want it. She didnt even offer a refund. Im very disappointed, because by the time they finally made my order everyone had left the store and it wasnt even busy and she didnt do anything to accommodate how long I had to wait.

Enjoyable coffee, but the real winner is the chocolate. Its ridiculously underpriced for how good it is. Go! Devour it before they catch on and raise their prices!

They should really stick to fine chocolates and wine. We ordered 2 carmel macchiatos because we wanted to give something other than Starbucks a try and it tasted and looked like chocolate milk. Like no joke, we asked another person in our group to describe the taste without them knowing what it was and they said it was chocolate milk. I never throw away a cup of coffee but unfortunately that day i did. Chocolate was great though and wine selection looked impressive.

Great coffee, a selection of wines (I dont drink), and a ton of delicious looking chocolates. My mom and I had an hour to kill before our movie started, and we really enjoyed our time here. The staff was friendly and prompt.

Amazing coffee and chocolates! I had to try a chocolate covered cherry and treat myself to a bourbon cherry. Almost the best Ive ever tasted!

I was overly dissatisfied with the chai flavor in my dirty chai and thought that the chocolates just tasted...sweet. the chocolates are cute and the regular coffee smells fantastic. Id stick with a cappuccino or coffee on my next visit.

Winans is a boujee coffee shop. You can get items like bourbon cherries or chocolate dipped wine bottles. The coffee is entirely better than Starbucks. That, and the black haired barista is hot.

Im giving a one-star rating because the last several times Ive stopped in to buy bulk coffee beans, I actually put the bag back on the shelf and left the store. There was a line of several people ahead of me, moving very slowly because of the lack of staff to efficiently manage the line. Got tired of waiting to just swipe my credit card for a quick purchase. Frustrating to say the least!

Best coffee and service! Go here at least 4 times a week now. Anyone complaining on here is a coffee snob and can go pay $5 for their Starbucks coffee while I pay $2 for mine which tastes better. No better quality to cost ratio ive had!

...enjoyed an Americano and a cherry cordial (chocolate). My wife considered her truffle to be the best that she had. The barista seemed aloof but the cashier was very friendly without being intrusive.

I had a cappuccino, which had foam that was way too thick, and the espresso was either very bitter or a little burnt. Either way, I drank about a quarter of it and abandoned both the drink and the cafe. The sitting area wasnt quiet, and I saw no outlets. Most tables are either in the middle of the room, or you can sit up at the skinny counter with your back to the room. While I live a block from here, Ill pass.

Walked in and was in heaven. The deep smell of fresh roasted coffee and delicate rich chocolates blessed the air and caressed my nose ever so gently. The mocha Frappe I tried slapped Starbucks silly. Soo much better. Winans has a much yummier Coffee chocolate taste rather than Starbucks chocolate coffee sugarness. Lovely scene for rest and relaxation. Chocolates were absolutely divine. Truly love the touch of wines to choose from. Very classy. Nice place to take a date!!

For a high end coffee shop they dont know how to make an espresso. And they serve it in a huge cold coffee mug so you drink your espresso cold.
