I had some friends and family recommend Stanton to me. Overall, very happy with my visit. Great prices, great customer service, they are very thorough and answer any questions patiently.

Stanton immediately lost my own sunglasses after handing them over for a prescription to be put in them. No apologies, just a shoulder shrug. Spent $750.00 for my 2 pairs for $59.00. Those $59.00 special glasses are hideous.They continued to loose the new expensive glasses I bought and never put the prescription in the right spot.This went on for 2 years & they charged me another $160.00 for the next year of service. They lost my glasses again! Every week for 8 weeks I got a robo call to pick up my glasses. For 8 weeks they never had them.I saw 2 different women waiting for their glasses once and they couldnt find theirs either.I left the final time with 2 pairs I couldnt see through. 1 of those was off the cheap wall since they stopped carrying the style I originally bought.Save your money and time and go to a reputable optometrist.The one at Stanton called the employees there a bunch of idiots when I told him what had been going on with the situation.

I went to a different place bf coming here and regret it after the great service I received in Stanton optical. Walter Retlaw was very helpful and professional. I wanted my Ray-Bans with prescription and added few request to make them stylish. He went above and beyond and I loved how they came out. With his recommendation they we’re just what I needed. I would highly recommend him and this location for all of your needs.

1st time customer. My teenage daughter wanted contacts and they were 100$ cheaper than anyone. The exam was quick and our technician was very nice. We were a little taken back when a Dr popped up on a TV screen and not there in person. But it still went fine. Afterwards we were told to browse the Eyewear and someone would help us. It was over 15mins and finally someone came over. She was nice showed us where some more glasses where and then never checked back with us. Another 15 mins goes by and we are sort of confused and have no idea who to talk to about getting my daughter fitted with contacts Finally a nice lady asked if we were ready and I informed her my daughter was a 1st time contact user. She then leads us to the back and tells my daughter to follow the instructions on the placement to put in her contact. She states she cant watch people touch their eyes and just walked away! I was shocked we were just left to figure it out. I decided to just get my prescription and just leave.Thankfully I have worked for TSO in the past and new how to train customers in how to use contacts properly. Ill go back for prescriptions but will never purchase contacts or glasses from them.So pro- cheapCon- customer service

Glasses broke first week. Took them in for repair now they cant find them. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE.UPDATE got my glasses back today opened them and both arms fall off in my hands. Contacted customer service. Francis answered my call. When I told her my issue and EXTREAM DISPLEASURE WITH STANTON she hung up on me. Now it seems she blocked my number as well. When I call it just hangs up on me. What a joke of a business I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and whomever else I can. Im sure I will receive a nice stantard response to this. Glasses were fine but dont belive thier lense insurance. Its just waste of money. They will do thier best to avoid replacing your lenses if they get scratched.

I went in to have my annual eye exam and it was a very odd and awkward experience for me. I was told that bringing my one year old wouldnt be an issue, but there wasnt enough room for her and her stroller at all. The assistants were amazing that helped and had great bedside manner, but the doctor wasnt even there in person. She was on a Webcam in the room which was somewhat awkward. My daughter was fussy and screaming through most of the exam and I couldnt help her because the doctor kept telling me not to move but the way I was situated wasnt comfortable at all. Then, after the exam, another doctor came on while I was packing up and referred to me as the next patient even though I was never instructed to leave the room. The whole experience was very disorganized. The people I worked with in person were polite, but I also was pressured about contacts multiple times. Then, to top it off, I kept telling them something was wrong and the prescription wasnt right, and no one listened. They just kept saying that my eyes had to settle. After an hour of having them in, I finally threw them into the trash! Ive never had a worse experience with an optometrist. I will not be coming back here! Ill just stick to my 2 year old glasses. My issue is I cant see far away and the prescription I was given today definitely wasnt right because I couldnt see farther than a car length ahead of me. I almost got in 2 car accidents on my way home. I was also told Id be examed again before leaving and that never happened either. Again, will not be going back.

I called and got an appointment within 15 minutes! The staff was fast, friendly and the exam was the most affordable I’ve found so far. I am very happy with my prescription and will be back!

I have to give 5 stars after my recent visit to this location. I came in about 3 weeks prior to get an eye exam, and ordered a couple pairs of glasses. The glasses came in today and one lens prescription was completely off, I couldnt see anything out of it. I brought the glasses back and spoke to a gentleman named Walter, the store manager. Walter did a quick examination of my eye and came to the conclusion that an eye injury was causing their light refraction machine to give a bad reading. Walter offered to refill my previous prescription on the spot. About 40 minutes later he had two pairs of glasses ready for me. I cant praise Walter enough, excellent customer service and very polite!

Im so glad that I decided to go with Stanton Optical. Jessica Marks helped me with all the financial stuff, and she worked very hard to make sure I was getting the best situation. Everyone there is super polite too, very positive and happy to help. It was quite an enjoyable experience all around.

DO NOT ever use Stanton Optical if you even think you might need to get your prescription from them later. After about 10 phone calls, well over an hour sitting on hold and several emails In the past month, I still do not have a copy of my contacts prescription! Worst customer service experience I may have ever had!

This is the only place I get my glasses. I have been using Stanton optical for 3 years. Theses last set of glasses are my orange glasses. I get compliments on them daily. Also the team who works there is always super nice.

Went in because I dropped My costa sunglasses and Jessica was with a lady who stepped out and told her to wait. Jessica asked if I had an eye appointment and I said no. I asked if she could look at my sunglasses and she said of course. At that point lady comes in from her car and starts being rude to Jessica. Why did she skip her Jessica replied in a nice tone Ma’am you told me to hold on and you went outside. The lady was relentless and wanted to talk to the manager she started her rant with him and he was also nice and explained to the lady that she stepped outside and that’s why Jessica went to the next customer because the lady in fact told her to wait. Manager and Jessica stayed professional I’m in the customer service business and I was so impressed our motto for my company is that the guest experience should never exceed the team member experience and although customer is right when our team members are right we stand up for them and the manager stood up in a nice tone for Jessica kudos to the store. They are keepers!

Stanton Optical on Dowlen Road was absolutely best customer service Ive had in quite a while. They did temperature checks and made sure customers had masks on while wearing masks themselves. I was greeted right away and once the other employee saw me he made sure I was taken care of as well as asking how my day was. They easily fixed my wifes glasses that we bought here 2 years ago and didnt act like I was bothering them. It was nice to be treated kindly during this crazy time we are in. I will definitely keep going to Stanton Optical for my future eye glass needs. Thank you to the staff working on July 8 between 2 and 3pm. Hope you guys stay safe and healthy. My wife also thanks you,because she can see again! Lol.

Horrible customer service. Eye Tech did not measure my face for the proper fit of the glasses. Do not explain to me my options for glasses was. By the time I walked out I paid $175. That was on August 10th and here it is October 13th still no glasses and they refuse to give me a refund. I had to go to Walmart for my glasses. And I still havent got my glasses. I will never go back to this company theyre horrible and if you do good luck to you

I went to Stanton Optical for eye exam today. Everyone was very courteous and helpful to me. Dr Torres was very efficient and explained everything to me. Eddie assisted me with my glasses. I think I had about 6 frames that I liked. He was patient and helpful to me to narrow it down to the perfect pair. I would definitely recommend Stanton Optical for eye exam and glasses. Each person that I talked to today treated me like I was part of the their family. I really appreciate the service that I was given today . I will definitely be a returning customer.

They overcharged me $105 over what my insurance said I should have paid and wont refund the money. When I first walked in the store to discuss the discrepancy, the guy said to fill out the form and send it to the insurance company for reimbursement. That didnt sound right, so I called the insurance. Why should they refund money I paid to Stanton Optical? Then I called 1 800 STANTON. No satisfaction there either. Bottom line... I paid $279 and the insurance paid them $329. The glasses are not as good as those I order online. I feel ripped off.

Walked in took 15 minutes for anyone to even say hello no one was on the show room if I hadnt already bought glasses from them I would have just left and all I was doing was picking up the glasses I had already bought then she comes out and ask how she can help told her I was picking up then found my order and open the case and tosses them on the counter saying here you go with the case open wow what great customer service Ill never be back

The staff is great, very accommodating. However, that line about being able to get your glasses ‘usually the same day,’ is SO not true. My initial visit was on 3/16/19..As of 4/6/19, I received some ‘loaner’ lenses because what I ordered still has not been delivered to the store.Additionally, I would advise that you call, regularly to check your status. They are not so great about calling customers back.

I bought glasses and contacts only one box. The first time I put my glasses on my lens falls out. Taking a closer look there was still shavings on the outside of the lens. So I knew these were the wrong lens. So the lady takes them back to see if she can fix them and the other lens fell out. Had to be the poorest quality of work and frames. I spent $355 at Stanton. She kept my glasses and is suppose to call me back .I hadnt heard from them. All my family members and employees I work with go to Stanton. My family will never purchase from them again. And I am gonna make sure the people I work with knows that Stanton isnt worth there time. Needless to say Im very unhappy and dissatisfied with them. But they had no problem taking my $355. I should have gotten 2 pair of glasses with quality at that price. And also when I went to return my glasses all the employees were playing on there phones. Very unprofessional...

Carl did a great job of getting my new contacts and glasses. They have a very good selection of glasses. It took me longer to settle on the pair of glasses that I wanted, because of selection, than the rest of the transaction. The store is clean and bright and the staff is nice and courteous. My original review was very positive. I had originally given them 5 stars. I dont know what has changed. The group they have now is incompetent. 1st off, half the time you dont even see a doctor in person just someone on a screen from who knows where. In the last 2 years I have been called numerous times to be told my order was ready only to drive 30 minutes (both ways) to find out they were not. My daughter was getting glasses and the first pair were defective, it took almost two months for them to get the replacement pair in. My son a few weeks got a pair and (yes I know kids are rough) the frames broke the 2nd day he had them from simply falling to the ground. During the same time as my son I ordered a pair of safety glasses as I need them for work. I didnt need anything else but was talked into it because they had the buy one get one. So I got a pair of sunglasses as well. I was able to get the sunglasses right away but the safety glasses would be a few weeks because they had to order them. I understood that. About three weeks later (today) I get a call saying 4 pairs were ready for pick up. I was only expecting one pair so hopefully they at least have the one pair... right? Wrong! Indeed it was only one pair ready but it was another pair of sunglasses but with clear lenses. So, it took 3 weeks to order the wrong pair but now Im told they will have my new pair ready in 5 days. Instead of 3 weeks... I know Im rambling but its getting old taking over an hour out of my day every time they get something wrong.

Absolutely wonderful. We have gotten 4 different pairs of glasses and 3 eye exams and the staff has been so helpful and so kind. We will be back here for any of our glasses or contact needs.

I really liked my experience here. I had only picked out glasses one other time in my life and was nervous. The employees there were all so friendly and helped me pick out my glasses. It was a quick visit which it what I wanted. Then they said my glasses would be ready within two weeks. I thought that meant two weeks. Nope in three days I got a phone call saying they were ready for pick up. Very easy and super affordable. Free eye exam was worth it! You pay for your eye exam however once you pick out your glasses they minus it from the cost. So it was worth it. I love the staff here. They are new to beaumont so if you need glasses go here!

This place is great, mainly because of the staff. Not only are they super helpful, and friendly but professional as well. I have never had more fun looking for a pair of glasses, and these are a back up for my contacts. The eye doctor was friendly and knowledgeable. The prices are reasonable and they take most insurances. Also, they give you a copy of your prescriptions without an issues. Keep up the great work!

The best experience Ive ever had with an optometrist or optician. The optometrist was obviously an expert at his job. He was professional and thorough, but still finished my eye exam in record time. I was really impressed. And the optician I worked with to select glasses did a great job helping me with my selections. I also had a need for glasses immediately, since I broke my old glasses over the weekend. He helped me select the right frames and avoid any selections for lenses that might delay my purchase. All told, this was a very enjoyable experience. I will be recommending (highly) Stanton Optical to all my nerdy friends. 🤓

I have been to a lot of eyeglass places and they were the friendliest and most helpful staff! I came in today to simply order contacts. I was helped by Mr Edward Williams who was very professional & knowledgable. I have never been able to find glasses that I liked because of my prescription. Thankfully because of his expertise in this field, Mr Williams had me matched with a pair of glasses that fit my face perfectly. They will be getting all of my business & I cant wait to tell my friends & family.

In store sales person was good help.But she didnt add the transition into the prescription.Beware all glasses are not same day.And double check that they did not leave anything out of your prescription.Working with Stanton has been not so good experience. Their online customer service is of zero added value and is a waste of your time. Yet to see how this purchase turns out.Will update this review when i get my glasses.Finally got my glasses but without the transition lens.They didnt change my order like they said they would.I ordered a pair had to pay another 95 dollars. So far Stanton glasses are nearly 400 $.Go buy somewhere else . not Stanton!

Just received my glasses and at this moment Im so pleased.

Beaumont is home so when my mom told me I could get quality, cute frames for half the price at Stanton, the 2 year old and I made the hour+ ride through Houston traffic on the Friday of Spring Break to get my new frames. Im in love. The customer service was superb. Tony was knowledgeable, generous, and patient. Furthermore, the frames were ready the same day. Umh, where does that happen? What other place do you know where prescription is just in the back room waiting on you. Hallelujah. Try Stanton, totally worth it.
