Im posting this on google because they like to hide their Facebook reviews from being public. This place is a hot mess. Our boat sat there for 5 months for repair and when it was finally ready, or so they said, we called several days before to be sure because we live 4 hours away. We got there and had to sit in the parking lot waiting for over 30 minutes because the battery was dead on the boat. The boat was also FULL OF WATER from improper storage when we picked it up which Im sure has been sitting full of water for the entire 5 months its been here. 0/10 do not recommend.

Don’t waste you time or money. One hot mess waiting to keep your boat for months, lies after lies. Don’t take a chance- nobody can order stuff and have it with 5 months. A big lessons learned, never again.

Very helpful staff, had a new propeller on in less then 20 minutes. They even helped us switch it out for free.

I was able to discuss my boat problems directly with the Jorgensen service manager. I drove over from Sulphur to give them a try and was not disappointed. Everything was repaired just as he promised. When I came to pick up the boat he took the time to go over the issues found and explained what they did to correct them. They all treated me with respect and showed me they appreciated my business.

My husband and I have purchased and sold several boats through Pete over the years. He and his staff are always friendly and knowledgeable. Its the kind of place where they call you by your first name as soon as you walk through the door. Their service department is also top of line! If your boat has a problem they can find it and fix it better than it was before.

Bought my boat back in January 2015. Salesman Eric was awesome helped me find the exact boat and outboard combo I wanted. All add on accessories I chose were very well priced. Whole process was very friendly and professional. Even through mechanical issues service department was amazing. They were always willing to honor warranty work without question and do quality work and thorough test drives before returning boat. Even stayed over to meet me if Im running late from work to pick my boat up before a weekend. A truly amazing dealership. My next boat will defiantly be coming from here!

Doesnt even deserve the one star. Brought my motor to them twice, both when picking up they said it was running well. But first time, got it back, it wouldnt start. Take it back, second time when I got it back I tried cranking it up. Nothing. Took the cover off, there were parts that were not connected back together. Would never recommend.

Service guys were quick to help and saved me some serious cash on my repairs. Great job folks!!

Now that I have thought more about it, why only one star? Let me explain my poor experience when purchasing a new boat from Jorgensen Marine. The boat I purchased was on sale, so the the price was ok, but not great. There are comparable packages out there, but good customer service is always at a premium. So what happened to the good customer service at Jorgensen Marine is my question? Speaking with the salesperson didnt lower the price, but it did get a few perks installed on the boat for that price or so I thought. Its all the small things that added up on this deal that has definitely left me with such disdain. So lets get to the facts. I was told it was a great deal, but the credit union and several websites told me otherwise. It was just the basic regular deal you get anywhere, especially when I was finally told that the motor was really a 2017 and not a 2018 model like the paperwork originally stated. I also had on the invoice that a fire extinguisher would be installed on the boat, but when I got it home I couldnt find one in the boat. So I had to go back and get them to give me the fire extinguisher that Im going to install myself. The bow light was missing so I had to order one myself, again just a little issue, but it all adds up. The next perk they forgot to install was a simple setback plate, that I still have never received. Turns out they didnt put that on the invoice so I cant hold their feet to the fire on that one, but the salesperson knows what he promised me. When I asked about the setback plate at pickup, he said itll run fine without it. Like I said, he didnt put it on the paperwork for the bank so I learned a valuable lesson as can you! To add further insult to injury, when I received my plates and tags in the mail from Jorgensen Marine, they were sent COD. Yup, the mailman required me to pay him in cash. What reputable business sends tags and plates COD? That was the final straw and it all adds up to a less than favorable rating. What I got from this purchase was a crooked salesman, a new boat that Im installing and purchasing parts, and plates/tags sent COD. Now Im supposed to get my new boat serviced there? Good luck with that! Im wondering if they would charge for work not completed as they did with the new sale. At this time I cant recommend Jorgensen Marine, but if you must, make sure you get everything in writing and look back over everything twice on delivery. Also, remember to have some cash and change ready when your plates are delivered to your house. This wasnt my first boat purchase, but its my last from Jorgensen Marine.
