Good shopping experience. Even with the fact that we had traveled all day, unloaded luggage etc into the rental and then went grocery shopping, it was better than average, especially taking into account we were tired, it was late afternoon (around 6) AND it was Sat before Easter! They were out of a few items we were looking for...very little in the way of fresh fruit..no pineapple or blueberries. We did purchase ground beef and it made excellent chili and sliders for Mon supper. The store is very well kept and we enjoy shopping there when visiting.

The most endearing part was the staff! They were all very friendly and helpful (and seemed generally happy to help)... As far as the products: the selection isnt as vast as the big box store down the road, and the produce was a little disappointing for this time of year (compared to the other two grocery stores within a stones throw) but it sufficed overall. I also love how easy it was too get in and out of for rush hour (unlike the other two stores can be!).

Kind of small. For our 3 day getaway we found what was necessary.Store was clean and organized. Small vegetable and fruit area.

Yesterday, May 25th around 11:30 I was checking out. There were quite a few “home office” men in the store making changes. They need to have a training session for the check out young people. I realize help is hard to get but a little common sense goes a long way. I was the only person in line and only one check out lane was open. The young lady kept cleaning her plexiglass shield while I was waiting. She should have acknowledged me and said she’d be with me in a moment. I had 2 bags - one an insulated bag with a cold pack and a cloth tote bag. All the cold items were put in the cloth bag. I repacked in front of them after telling them twice to put the cold items in the insulated bag. They made it clear by their expression that I was not welcome. I can understand why people would rather go to Publix and pay a bit more but have better service.

Under staffed but doing their best. My go to grocer for sundries and staples.

It’s ok. They sometimes have expired products and the grapes aren’t always fresh. We go here to save money but other grocery stores definitely have better quality but more expensive. This is the go to store when the money is low.

Theres nothing wrong with the store, just small so selection is limited. Also, after shopping there still havent found any tender beef.

Dont understand how theyre buying bi-lo out. Selection is horrible if theres even a selection!

I was in and out without incident. Noticed a price increase in meat department and several other items. I realize theres a shortage of some things currently; hopeful these prices reduce with time. Paper products continue to be unavailable, but ovetall I was happy with my purchase.

If every grocery store had the tree cover this foodlion has the world would be a better place. Pro tip in the south, crack your windows and park in the shade from spring to mid winter.

Food Lion is a wonderful place to shop for these following items fresh fruit and vegetables. Coffee usually Food Lion will have coffee on sale I have found that their coffee is just as good as any other brand. If youre on the island such as Ladys Island and youre going out towards the beaches its a great place to stop to make sure you fill up on your soda is your water and any other snack items you need for the beach. Dont forget the sunscreen and water and sand toys. In general its low prices and convenient shopping makes your shopping experience pleasurable..

Cleanliness is a must for any business. Food Lion is at the top of the Heap when it comes to cleanliness. Their selections of fresh meat, beef chicken pork bacon Seafood is among the top in the county. The floor is always clean the shelves are always stocked and cashiers, butchers and management are always friendly. Parking lot is ample and clean even buggies are in their places. I like the prices and the specials that change weekly at Food Lion.

I switched from Bi-Lo to Food Lion 2 months ago and I couldnt be more pleased. Ive been a faithful Bi-Lo shopper for years and I wont be going back. Food Lion has Amazing prices. A fantastic meat selection and its super fresh. . The produce section is small but fresh and has a good selection for the size. Ive been really pleased with Food Lion store brands. Plus the parking lot is shaded. My only complaint is the grocery bagging, but that seems to be a universal problem. There needs to be some training on how to bag groceries because its not a common sense job apparently.

Nice store, we just moved here from the great state of Texas. I had not been to a food lion in 15 plus years. This store lacked some items I was looking for but I totally understand operating margins and the need to turn product. This store is clean, has a good layout on the products being displayed. Will I return? Most likely.

We went in and there credit card machine was down, there for they werent accepting the Foodlion discount card. Extremely unprofessional and didnt adjust the prices of the items like other Foodlions have done in these instances. Just moved here from slightly inland and will probably NEVER be shopping here again!

The staff is very friendly and helpful and the sales they offer are pretty great! The only reason Im not giving 5 ☆ is because they havent been able to do money orders in over a month!!

Relatively slow checkout. Always out of at least several items I need but they are usually less crowded and do have a couple things other stores don’t normally carry.

Management sucks, the wonderful woman up front managers were awesome! 2 black woman, they were patient and made the best out of the situation. I bring my own bags to use and placed the freezer bag out first for refrigerated products. It was put in a different bag when I asked him to switch to correct bag checker got annoyed. I had a large grocery this week ended up packing most myself. He apologized to next customer for having to wait. What about thanking me for helping to pack.

Visiting from Tennessee and this is 2nd visit to store. I found parking easy. Employees were friendly. Selections were good and meat was very fresh looking. On my first visit, cashier asked if I had MVP card and explained was from out of town so he still gave me discount which I thought was very nice but on 2nd visit, cashier didnt give discount......I believe any customer from out of town should automatically be given discount. That was my primary reason for returning for 2nd visit.

Another one of the limited number of grocery stores in Beaufort; Foodlion offers great sales, as well as everyday great prices. It is easy to navigate the aisles, time spent in line is reasonable, and the staff are always helpful. While the produce departmemt seems small it does carry all staple produce items and they are always fresh.

Prices are good, price are helpful, but the produce section needs improvement. All too often packaged salads are at or within a day of the best if used by date.
