I was seen at the Battle Creek office. They did a great job explaining everything to me. Excellent staff helped with every aspect of the process. When all was said and done I left feeling knowledgeable about my exams and eye ware selection. There was an issue with the labs but the all incident more then maid up for the issues. I recommend them 100%.

I have been seeing Dr DiMartino for years, but now that they have changed to MyEyeDr, They are terrible. Without explanation, they charged my medical deductible for retinal photos that I had done before but not paid extra for, and they made me feel like I didnt know what I was talking about when I questioned it. After a long discussion, I paid $75 extra and was told if I hadnt met my deductible I would be billed for the remainder. They also automatically added the insurance to my bill without asking. Now three weeks later I had to call to see if my glasses were in. They are but I can only pick them up on Wednesday or Friday, 8-12 and 2-4.

Today I went in for my eye appointment and I was so unimpressed by the way I was treated and the way my medical information was handled that I will be seeking a new eye doctor. I got there and was handed the wrong patients chart. It had all of their personal info on it. I’ve worked in the medical field, this is a huge HIPPA no-no. I brought it to the desk and told them it was an incorrect chart. They said “ oh are you Kate? We have been trying to contact you, we tried calling you but your phone number was incorrect” they stated they had tried to reach me by my phone, my spouses phone and my email, all of which were in my chart incorrectly. I do not know why this would be the case, as none of this information has even changed in the past 5 years. They then asked me to verify my birthday and I was told that my birthday was incorrect in my chart... again a huge HIPPA violation. I would have thought it was the wrong chart completely except that they listed the email as a very old email of mine. They then proceeded to tell me my appointment had been canceled and the soonest they can offer me is a month from now. They did offer to put me on a cancellation list and the girl at the desk was friendly, however I still have no idea why my appointment was canceled in the first place, why my information was so wrong and why it wasn’t verified when I made the appointment over a month ago. It just doesn’t sit right with me at all, so I’ll be taking my business elsewhere and I would consider doing likewise unless you’d like your information handed out to other patients and your appointments canceled without warning.

Pandemic safety precautions were impressive and adhered to. For those that are cautious, this should put your mind at ease. The facility is extremely clean with disinfectant protocols in place. Was impressed by the technology versus my previous eye Doctor. The staff was professional, kind, listened to and answered all my questions. I walked out of there feeling well taken care of. Now if only other businesses treated their customers this well. Its a good business model regardless of what sector youre in. Well done.

Clean facility, friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere, good COVID-19 precautions throughout the facility. Would definitely recommend.

Staff was prompt and courteous did not have to wait that long at all visit with Dr. Valella was as always pleasant.

I have been seeing Dr Valella for many years and love her. She and her staff are great and very thorough. Dr Valella has also done a lot of research in treating eye diseases with a more holistic approach where applicable. I would highly recommend her as your eye care expert!

The clinic was well prepared with the preventative COVID care. Interviews done by phone prior to entry. Masks required. Temp taken and hands sanitized at the door. Equipment wiped down with alcohol in front of you prior to you touching it. I felt safe and protected. As always, the ladies are very courteous and friendly.

I have gone to Dr. Valella for eye care for over 20 years. She has always been kind, patient, answers all questions and her staff is great! This visit this week was my first experience at her new location and she and the staff are continuing to provide the same quality, thorough and wonderful care. I would highly recommend this office for eye care!

Everyone is so nice and professional at this business. The doctor is particular in doing her best for you and doesnt miss a thing during an exam. This isnt just another drive thru Optical business. This lady knows her profession.

Doctor and staff are the best. I lived in 5 countries before and always went to best eye doctors since I had a rare disease when I was young. I chose the battle creek eye clinic based on references and review. I was surprised to find out they are above any of my expectations. Professional and equipped with best devices there cannot be any better eye doctor clinic based on my experience so far.

I gave this low rating, because I wasn’t able to be seen because I wasn’t able to pay for the full amount of the services rendered. Instead of them calling me before my appointment to inform of this, I was told after I had come for my appointment!!! I was told until I could pay for the services I could not get an appointment!!!!

This is my second year getting my eye exams and frames from Battle Creek Eye Clinic. Today I was seen by Dr DiMartino. Since my insurance didnt cover some of the more indepth exams, I opted to pay for them out of my pocket. But hands down, todays exam was the most thorough exam I have EVER experienced in all my years of wearing glasses. Everything was explained as it was being done. Weve only lived in this area for 5 years and I wish I would have gone here from the beginning.

Great service and very professional. The doctor seemed very concerned about eye health and made sure I had as much information about the test that were given to me. The staff were friendly and informative as well. I would highly recommend coming here.

The staff here is AMAZING! Im new to getting glasses and havent had my eyes checked since middle school, and everyone made me feel very welcome and comfortable. They are an honest, and up front group of people. I would recommend to anyone.

A few weeks ago my uncle came to visit me from ohio. While he was here his glasses got broke. Since we were not sure what to do we searched eye doctors near us. The first two places we went to were not very helpful because we didnt get the glasses thru them they wouldnt help us fix them. Finally i thought lets try this one last place and headed to battle creek eye clinic. Upon walking in although they were a little busy i was greeted and told someone would bee right with me so i was browsing the frame selection. A short time later a young lady came from the back and asked if Ive been helped yet and i told her i was told someone would be with me shortly, she smiled and asked how she could help me. I explained to her our situation and asked if she could help. She looked at the glasses and said she could help me fix them and also let me know that since we did not get the glasses there that if she couldnt fix them or if they were to break worse they would not be reliable for replacing them. I figured we didnt have anything to loose so i agreed. She told me to give her a few moments and she would see what she could do. Shortly after the young lady came back with my uncles glasses looking good as new i was very thankful we stopped at Battle Creek eye clinic they were very helpful. I know i will definitely be booking my next eye exam with them and recommending them to others. Thanks young lady you saved our visit with family from being a disaster

I have been going to Battle Creek Eye Clinic for years and am very happy with the care I receive. I tried numerous other clinics in town before trying them. In my opinion, none of the others were near as accurate as Dr. Lynne.

Love this clinic. Dr. Goff is very knowledgeable and the staff are very efficient and friendly. I am definitely going to recommend this clinic to family and friends.

Entire Staff and Doctors are very professional and customer focused. They also have the latest styles in glasses and sunglasses. I have dry eyes, so they ordered special drops and vitamins to combat this uncomfortable condition. Thank you, BCEC!

I cant express how happy I was to actually find an excellent eye care facility!The time & concern they took with my vision problem was exceptional. I had no idea about the important tests that should have been done long before I came here. Then, I was not satisfied with my frames..they just did not appeal to me, after I picked them out! They didnt have to replace them after a couple of days...but they did, just to make me happy. I have them on now, I love them! The last pair of frames I got from an (un-named eye clinic), were huge on my face, were not sitting right, making my vision completely off! Very frustrating! I felt at ease & very welcome in this facility, as the girls knew what they were doing at all times, and what looked best on me. I know for a fact I will always come to the Battle Creek Eye Clinic as long as they are here!

The people at Battle Creek Eye Clinic are really knowledgable and accommodating to my needs. They answered all my questions and concerns and knew the information that I did not know about my vision care provider when it came to costs.

Called and said they took my insurance so I scheduled an appointment. Get to my appointment and they tell me that they dont take my insurance. Staff was very unprofessional and rude.
