Best Walmart to ME in Baton Rouge on College Drive. Pharmacy has Excellent Staff. The staff also get me a Handicap cart when it a Must for me to come inside. I love the curbside pharmacy in pick up. And my order online pick up too. Excellent Staff. Thank you are ALL appreciate & Especially during this Pandemic Time.

Shelves are bare constantly, they are always out of basic supplies, and they do not have people on the floor sanitizing the store wiping commonly touched areas Walmart doesnt care if its customers get sick .they dont sanitize the carts .bathrooms are unsanitary and not kept up. You use the urinal and stand in urine on the floor .🙄 .Not to mention walmart always touts lowest prices, thats a joke, they keep raising prices throughout the store, speaks volumes about walmart, a pandemic hits the nation and walmarts greed shines bright, people losing jobs, out if work and walmart raises its prices, how about raising your employees pay instead of raising a useless CEOs salary 😉Only good thing I can say is the old guy in the yellow vest at self checkout is a nice helpful person . Raise his pay he deserves it .

This is one of the nicest Walmarts aeound with the biggest selection of items. it is well kept and customer service was very efficient. my only recommendation is not to go at rush house traffic time of day or its a pain to get out of there n back on the interstate headed 10E to 12 (headed back toward Denham)

Poorly stocked. My item were not on shelf...bummer. Shelves looked like day before a hurricane. Otherwise I self- checked out myself without problem.Shouldnt I get a discount for being your employee?

Unbiased opinion. The food is, low standard. The portion sizes are small; average waitresses. Good, calming Japanese music. Just seems like a business that is hurting and living on a frugal budget.

I was recently at this Walmart and encountered issues with the new self check out screen. I was quickly assisted, and the store associate explained it was a new system. I truly appreciated the time she took to assist me and explain the situation. Great experience!

Store was just opening after hurricane Ida. You had to get in line to get in but the wait was not long. The store was very clean. Had most things we needed. They were very organized considering we had just had a major hurricane. A few days later we needed more food and drove from LaPlace to this Walmart. We had no issues on this trip either. The things they were out of were the same things the other stores were out of too. No complaints.

You can get decent quality grocery and other things in a fairly low price, though don’t expect it to be top quality. It also has a variety of merchandise. Staff is willing to help. A good place for daily grocery shopping.

Horrible customer service, employees sat outside door 10 mins to close and would not let us in because the close at 11 pm. We knew that but were out of town and needed things for the next morning. We wouldve been quick, we knew what we wanted and where it would be. RUDE!

They have 8 checkout lanes but only 2 open. The self check out is card only so waited in line for close to ten minutes to pay with cash.

Recently, my shopping experience at Walmart, College Dr BR. was quite an Unusual and Disappointing visit.Many items of products: like water, eggs, dairy, meat, bread, fruits and vegetables were out.The deli counter closed earlier than usual.I was told by the lady behind the counter, that they were short of workers.So many sections of items in the store were low in stock, or off the self.I fully understand because of current disasters of events.Consequently, many people seemed confused and troubled by it all...Some of the Self Service check-outs were Closed. Only two (2) Cashier check- outs were open. The lines were extremely long...People would place their items on the conveyor belt.Then had to remove them back into the grocery cart, to get into another line for check-out.Unknown reasons, maybe because of lack of money exchange or out of service,a Pink Slip was placed on the check-out screen. Only Cards.It was really a terrible situation.No store announcements were made to inform customers of these issues, that some check-out lanes only take Cards, No Cash.Also the #5 Check-out Produce scale did not work.I was told by the Cashier, to go to Cash Register #1.I had to go to three (3) different Check-out to Complete my shopping.Walmart made other announcements, but not what was necessary for the customers to adjust to the Change of Events in the Store.Management,Please take Notice...I realize Hurricane Ida and other situations exist...However, Standing in Non-operative lanes, are a Complete Waste of Time and Energy to Endure while grocery shopping.Also, Management, Why must Customers have to endure Hearing Cashiers having Personal Conversations while on the Clock. This is happening at the Check-out lanes.This Action is so Rude and Unprofessional.Its Getting Out of Control...They are Making Mistakes While Checking Out our Items.Hopefully, my next visit will be better than the above visit.My current rating... The store is not very organized, especially during Covid. If youre going to close entrance/exit ways in the middle of the day, utilize the loud speaker/PA system and let your customers know that instead of letting them find out the hard way. The greeter for that side could even notify guests they will be closing that side soon as a courtesy. Just my two cents.

Beware of older model van with 3/4 men inside riding around in the parking lot waiting on an opportunity to go inside your vehicle to steal. It happened to me on Saturday and there where two Sheriffs, both where inside at the time.

I mean, you get good bargains every now and then. However, the store is usually understocked and messy, and the deli department smells like death.

It is mostly stocked at all times. Of course, there were some things missing, but iverall you can find what youre looking for.

I work in downtown Baton Rouge and decided to stop at this location on my way home (Laplace) one day. My visit that day was a surreal... the isles were clear of stock, shelves were all stocked and in order,, parking lot was free of shopping carts and there was more than 2 check-out counters open with an actual cashier working at them @ 9pm. Now I always try and go to Wally on a work day..

Still one of the cleanest stores in Baton Rouge wish they had more space for parking

Very good shopping experiences except the watch area. I ha to wait about 30mins and had to request couple of other staff to get someone to open the lock.

Went to the college dr store to buy a kayak and the woman in sporting goods went beyond out her way to help me. She even brought out 2 different kayaks out the back for me to see. So she really wanted to make sure I was getting the right one for me.

Had a good experience the few times Ive been. Nothing extraordinary but Im not there to mingle. Just want to do my shopping and get out. There is limited checkout staff but the line for self checkout is usually empty and so far it hasnt kept me waiting.

I have a love hate relationship with this place. It doesnt matter what you come in here for,you wont leave spending less than $75. Online ordering at this location is atrocious and will constantly get your order wrong.

This walmart is never really stocked with things but its not the worst walmart in the city. Its always busy and very rarely has enough self check out lanes or cashiers available to keep things from being too annoying.

Clearance aisle is very random, but has interesting surprised. Cant beat these prices!

I had a field day in Walmart yesterday I mean this week and it was a wonderful experience ion shop for shoes it was shoes day for me and I bought me three pair of sandals and I think one pair of tennis shoes and I bought me a little outfit you know to go with him a little bit ago and everything was just wonderful and I ate there the food was nice and I took my time and Shout because I was by myself but the staff is also courteous and every time I ask them to help me with this or help me with that they take the very time out to show me where I can get this and where I can get that and I love that about them you know so all I had a wonderful experience and well be going back again and will be mail ordering time to curbside all that and thats a fact

This Walmart was about as expected when compared to other store locations. I was able to get most of the things I went in for on my most recent visit, and the lines were short. (I didn’t had any issues with the self-checkout being cranky, so that’s a plus.)However, a lot of items weren’t stocked on the shelves, and items that were left (such as water) weren’t pulled to the front of the shelf for easy access. Even those items that were well stocked (mainly noticed in the cosmetics/hygiene area) appeared disorganized and out of place.Overall, if you know what you’re looking for, you’ll probably have an okay time. If you are easily stressed by disorganization or have a hard time moving around and reaching it may be a bit less fun for you.

Avoid at all costs past 8 pm. Unless you like waiting forever to check your own groceries out

As expected. Came early while traveling so wife could use the bathroom. They were observing senior hours and we had to wait half hour to get in. Not sure what their definition of senior is. She should have flashed the AARP card.

Love shopping at Walmart because of the pricing and some great staff.

I went to this Walmart to try on some clothes. I left the fitting room to get more clothes because the limit was 2 items, and she locked the room even though she knew I was trying things on. Then I needed something in the glass case in the pharmacy, and I went to ask for someone to come unlock it. They paged twice, and nobody ever came. I couldn’t get what I needed. I will go to the Walmart on highland in the future. Many of the employees here are lazy and unhelpful. It took a long time for me to not even be able to get what I needed. The cherry on top was going into the parking lot and seeing that my car had a new scratch on it.

I went to the self check out and the cashier helped me scan some apples that didnt scan correctly. She stood there as I scanned the rest of my items. Once I was done paying she says are you gonna pay for that? I told her I paid for everything in my cart and she then tells me she didnt see me pick up the scanner. I tell her I did and then she begins going through my basket with the receipt. She realizes that everything is paid for and gives a half hearted apology and doesnt eve look mr in the eye. I dont like being accused of stealing or lying. And I definitely dont like being disrespected. I should have called the manager and complained but I was just ready to get away from there at this point. I will spend no more money there and I would suggest that you dont unless completely necessary.

I went into this Walmart Today to buy 2 WalMart phones not the cheap ones but the $600.00 phones. When I asked the lady to help me she said there is no one here to help me .The guy at the help desk that does this was no on duty to work. And said take them home and do it. I told her to forget it. Then I went to the jewelry department waited 15. Minutes and finally a Walmart employee walked buy and I ask her for help she said she will page someone that could help.waited another 30 minutes. No one never showed up . I bought the clothes we had picked out and left. Very bad customer service and would advise you if you cant help yourself in this store . To stay away the employees at this place is definitely hurting Walmarts sales. I went and bought my phones and jewelry at the Mall of Louisiana. I spent $2,700 dollars. That could of been spent at Walmart today

Rating Pickup experience today. Check In ahead. Waited over 15 minutes for my order after I scanned the barcode at the pickup tower. Someone came in after waiting for that entire time, then a minute later someone shows up to hand her her order, but not mine. Completely ridiculous. I would have waited longer had that individual not showed up with a pickup order. You can tell they were disorganized. A lot of people around, but of no help or assistance whatsoever. There was one guy that passed by and asked me if I needed some help, but that was early on & I figured they were on their way with my order. Last time Ill ever do pickup here. Do better.

Self check out worker was rude laughed at me and doesnt seem to be anything done about it. She also lied to me. When I needed her she was nowhere to be found off talking with friends. Walmart has really gone down in their customer service. Dont care to ship there anymore. They treat you poorly even when you try to have something done about it.

I really need to stop coming to this Walmart unless I have time to meticulously read the best by dates on products. I dont know how many products at this point that Ive bought and a few days later realized were past their date weeks ago. I mean its been bread, dairy products, etc. I dont even want to know what Ive missed. I just have an expectation that Im not buying products past their best buy date when I shop.
