Always has what I need or some viable option. Great, friendly staff which makes you feel like a guest, not just an object which stops you from working. Definitely my hobby store pick, for life! And, signing up for the email club sends you tons of coupons designed with you in mind. ;) fabulous!

Ive had many, many custom frame jobs done at Michaels through the years. The work is excellent, and any time that I have had an issue with one of their frame jobs (such as something loosening behind a matte, and that is very rare), they have taken care of the issue for me for a nominal charge. I dont know of any better place to have your items framed professionally for a reasonable cost.

Lots of great Christmas deals on black friday. I was able to get the most perfect decorations for my tree.

Store is always super organized and I can always easily find every item I need. However the workers arent as friendly and knowledgeable about their craft/hobby items and products as say hobby lobby a staff is. But either way, I know I can quickly run in and out of here and find every item I need easily without problem

The cashier was nice. I didnt find what I was looking for, a bow maker, so I ordered it from Amazon. Received it 2 days later. The store looked shabby to me.

Great place to get anything floral to crafts, and when I needed assistance was shown where the item was not pointed to. Also cashier acknowledge everyone that walked in, while working register.

Love Michaels. Theyre smaller than hobby lobby, but have almost everything youre looking for. They get 4-stars because they dont have a fabric department, but they did have the Staedler markers I was after and Im singles too.

Theyre a little low on inventory which is common nowadays but the people are very professional

Went looking for crochet yawns and needles. Didnt find the needle I was looking for but I enjoyed visiting the store.

It went in looking for one thing and came out with 20. The one thing I went for they didnt have, but still they had tons of clearance stuff that was cute.

While visitong my hometown I stopped at local Michaels. To my surprise, the place looked like it was going out of businesses. At check out, a very interestingly rude cashier decided to challenge me verbally because I questioned the price of an item. When I asked for management and inquired as to what her issue was, she stated that wasnt being rude. Then proceeded to explain that she had a medical condition and asked to take a break. I will not be using this location again.

They are having hard time keeping stocked otherwise love them.

The customer service was pretty good. But, I would like to see someone enforcing proper face covering procedures... while I was in line I saw multiple people with their noses uncovered(you breathe through your nose guys) and some lady who just walked in holding their mask over their face... which they stopped doing once theyd passed the cash register. Not really the employees fault... just something to think about.

Person at the register was nice, but not very attentive. Honestly, theyre always really pleasant. However, I was charged for 15 skeins of yarn and only had 14. I watched her count them, but never considered she had either miscounted or entered the number incorrectly. I know its an easy fix, but its such an inconvenience.

Love this store for crafts and frames, but I wish their yarn selection was a bit more comprehensive. I usually head to Joannes for yarn and crochet supplies.

The super-nice cashier, Gabrielle, let me return some items, even though I didnt have my receipt, which fell out of the bag as I was leaving my house. All I had to do was put in my store rewards number (phone #). She even commented that she remembered that I purchased the items on the prior Saturday. Very personable, and customer service-oriented!!!

I do art and there was a good sale. Besides that it is closer. Some stuff inspires one to get creative. The employees were very helpful, too.

Whoever can figure out how to make lines move quickly at a craft store will have cracked one of retails mysteries. Besides that navigating the store could be made easier. Otherwise expect decent customer service.

Quick in and out. Not crowded at all. Staff masked. Place was clean. Had one person in checkout line ahead of me. Handicapped parking and entrance.

Some shelves were poorly stocked, but that is to be expected right now. The checkout lines were long. Only 2 lines open and 5-6 customers in each line. It wasnt super busy, they are just slow

This is a large Micheals, wonderful seasonal selection right in front of the store as well as other crafting selection throughout the store. The staff always seems willing to help even with covid precautions in place. Ive never not found what I was looking for here.

It was nice. Some brand items promised online, that was also in-store werent in stores, but there was always an alternative. Nice products and a wide variety.

The store was clean. You can always find a coupon online. Everything was pretty orderly. My only complaint is that there were only like 3 people working there and so there was no one around to help me find what I needed. All 3 seemed like they hated their job. But I guess, what can you really expect when there is only 3 of them there? Also at least half of the buggies here had messed up wheels.

Everything was exactly where it needed to be. Finding everything and checking out was a wonderful experience. The entire experience was only topped off by the amazing customer service that was provided to me by my cashier— I just I had gotten their name!!! They were super kind and just a pleasure to do business with. And what a fantastic wardrobe. Beautiful red hair and shades on! So chic! It is amazing that Michael’s approves such inclusivity into their workplace. More companies should do such a thing.

We went to Michaels looking for a new Christmas tree. We found the perfect tree on sale for 379.00 on sale from 599.00. However, we went down the road to Costco and found the same tree with more functionality for 299.00. People please shop around. Michaels is overly priced. Their sale was not a sale at all.

Not as much inventory selection as it used to have

There is literally NO point in curbside pickup if you STILL have to go inside and WAIT in the never ending lines. FYI, that is NOT “curbside pickup.”

Feeling some ambivalence about the experience. On the bright side, I was able to save 30-40% using coupons and found everything I was looking for. Kinda sad seeing the universal anxiety on everyones faces though, customers and employees alike. I really feel for anyone working in customer service right now. Cant imagine what its like. If any CSRs read this, THANK YOU.

Good products but sometimes severely overpriced

Love it. For a while I quit going to Michaels bc they were overpriced in comparison to other craft stores, but theyre always running specials and even more coupons if you sign up for their emails and texts. I got $60 worth of jewelry making supplies and beads for about $25 in my past purchase.

Michaels is very once arts and craft store. It has things that you can use all the time. It has cooking things planners and much more.

Looked for a lamp base but they didnt anything close nor could we find anyone to help us or get ideas from. Plenty of stuff but you definitely will have to go it on your own there.

With there on a Sunday to look for a frame. Found exactly what I was looking for and as a bonus, the very polite clerk was also able to cut a matt to fit in the frame while I waited. It was so much more reasonable than Hobby Lobby. Will shop there again.

1st time shopper, went looking for photo frames and ask for help from one of the store clerks. She was polite and helpful with helping me choose what size photo frame I would need. The store has a wide range of Christmas decorations and the shelves were organized and the floors clean.

I visit Michaels often as things come up that I need. However, its usually a waste of time as they never seem to have what Im looking for and if they do its outrageously priced. I usually end up driving the extra distance to Hobby Lobby and get what I need at a reasonable price.
