So much more options (both in hot food and market items) than Lafayette location. The smokehouse section was amazing. Tried the smoked chicken, brisket, loaded mash, and bacon mac. We loved it. Definitely going back

Whole foods was a wonderful grocery store shopping experience. Very clean ... uniquely organized. I had not been there in a couple of years.Yesterday was my wifes birthday, so I went to pick up a Chantilly berry cake ... which was absolutely delicious.While in the store, passing by the deli, there was this fresh shrimp salad that was really enticing ... so I bought a pound of it.I committed to myself that I would go more frequently.

This is my top favorite store. My diet is mostly organic and I cook alot so whole foods is the place to go. I find alot if my ethic favorites here also. So that makes me very happy.

I purchased a fruit tart yesterday, 8/11/21, for my sisters birthday. It was not fresh at all. Tasted like it was a week old. The crust was wet and the cream was little to non existent. I HAD TO THROW IT AWAY. WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED, AS THIS WAS WERE I PURCHASED ALL MY BIRTHDAY CAKES. DONT THINK I WILL BE PURCHASING ANY ANYMORE!!!!!!!!

Really well keep and organized. The employees were very nice and pleasant. I only stopped in for bathroom and a quick snack. I got sushi, it was the spicy crab roll. One of the most fresh sushi I ever had. Also gone some gold brew from one of the isles really enjoyed that as well. From the small amount of the store I saw I highly recommend coming here.

Every department we stopped at was very helpful, except for the cheese are department. I was obviously looking for a specific cherse & none of the 3 employees behind the counter offered any assistance. My husband had to request help. They did offer assistance to him but i was already annoyed cuz i was ignored. Florist & butcher were great.

I just got an Amazon prime membership and I wanted to get 10% off my grocery order. Didnt know how to pull it up on my phone, Summer was very helpful and kind. Thank you Summer!

Five stars for the food only. I wish the atmosphere was a little less “woke.” It’s wearisome. The employee attitudes keep me from shopping in-store, so I use the grocery pickup option to avoid having to deal with them. I’d give up shopping here all together if I could get the brands anywhere else, but some things, I can only find at Whole Foods. As soon as I find other shopping options, I’ll abandon them.

Do not feel safe shopping here. There is a mask mandate in effect, and a clear sign on the door that masks are required. There was an unmasked customer VIOLENTLY coughing and workers refused to ask him to put on a mask.They are not enforcing it whatsoever. Extremely disrespectful to other customers.

Great place to go large variety of all kinds of items

Quality foods with a superb variety of prepared food deli’s. Great selections to choose from. Always fresh hot rotisserie chicken(Tequila Lime), Jambalaya, sweet potato crunch. Fresh pizza and the selections go on and on. Always fresh hot and ready for you on the drive home from work!

One of my favorite stores - I know the prices are high but the quality makes up for it. Homemade pizzas, special macaroons, amazing meat department and unique items you cant find anywhere else. Worth a visit to see everything they offer.

Chicken scallopine is the best heat and serve meal. So easy for a week night.

Went in there before close to order a pizza for my pregnant wife. Mike (I think was his name, glasses, mask on so couldn’t tell facial features) made it happen! Even made some good suggestions to try for next time. Thanks !

Whole Foods by far is one of the best specialty grocery stores in Baton Rouge

😔Their raspberry lemon vegan cake has a possible laxative stomach cramping ingredient (soy) as a main ingredient in the whipped topping. I know it is cheap to use. But imo, It does not belong as a cheap alternative to using coconut or one of the many different alternatives that are not cheap and may not give you diarrhea and stomach cramps. 🚽🚽🚽

Clean and fresh. Kinda pricey though. Lots of prepared food and bakery options.

They have an extensive line of homeopathic remedies. I found what I needed, checked out, and left. Had to wait at checkout a little longer than I expected, but it wasnt too bad. Employees masked and friendly. Handicapped parking and entrance. They were sanitizing the whole time I was there. One lady outside sanitizing all the shopping carts, another inside sanitizing around checkout areas.

No longer a fan of shopping there... employees arent the same either. Guest/customer service or friendliness is foreign to so many of whom they choose to hire. Im glad they have competition and that is exactly whom I will patron, Sprouts and Trader Joes!

Really good place to shop fresh produce good people

Excellent shopping trip with a client today. We planned out his weekly menu and WHF had everything he needed. When you are starting a healthy journey, you need more than a health coach, you need a shopping companion to help guide your choices and meal planning. You will be amazed at what you can accomplish.

Baton Rouge is still a small town but Whole Foods still offers quality options for vegans and non vegans. I have favorite items i can only find at WFM. The staff is diverse and very polite and helpful.

Prices arent competitive but they have specific things I need.

Its whole foods what can I say got a great birthday cake for my girlfriends birthday here and it was so dam good !

Wholefoods is more like an over priced Safeway than a whole foods store these days with only a small percentage of organic mixed in with conveniently grown produce. It was once a top notch store now Natural Produce and Sprouts totally out shine it.

The pickup experience was very quick and being able to shop through Amazon was very convenient !

The usual expectation of great quality alongside good service with above necessary prices was met with full marks :)

We were able to get in there and get out, quickly. No muss. No fuss. We found everything we were looking for. Great trip.

Always something different to try. Their crabcakes, sweet kale salad and wild rice stuffing w/ pearl onions & cranberries are some of my favs.

Went through the whole store gatheringitems with no mask. Saw many customers without mask or wearing them on their chin which is the same as not wearing one. When I went to check out the cashier said I had to be wearing a mask. Left my items on the counter and walked out.

I bought a sirloin steak today that the meat cutters were in the process of cutting. The butcher Said come back n 10 minutes, so I did. He had my steak wrapped and ready....I should have looked at it rather than trust his abilities.I’m having family in from Texas and wanted a bigger sirloin, just unwrapped one of the worst cut steaks I’ve ever had in my house. One end is 1.4” thick and the other end is .5” thick...this is a $23 steak....gonna be a challenge cooking this for my family....thanks Whole Foods, that butcher knew what he did to that piece of meat, yet wrapped it and I bought it..

Well. Its not wally world. Thank you for dealing with vendors that actually give us the choice . It may be a tad more pricey but worth every penny for the products I consume.

They have just about anything/everything I need to make badass vegan food. I love this place. If I we’re to complain about anything, it’d be the prices. But in all reality, Im never able to find the ingredients I need, anywhere else. The service is always perfect. If someone is worried about how expensive a place might be, it would be well worth it in the end receiving great service and great variety. They honestly care about you.

Employees are very well trained and provide excellent customer service. Shelves are always stocked and store is clean and organized.

I did a study of mask wearing compliance ie mouth AND NOSE at walmart highland lee (65%), costco 90 %, calvins 83 %, whole foods 96%.I directly made eye contact with and observed on 10 19 20 about 25 employees ( all 4 stores)At whole foods the manager said he would imediately correct the issues as they arise. At calvins we try but we cant easily terminate people. Costco apparently gives three warnings.I never had a problem firing employees. When i had enough, i said your fired - get out now and dont come back. Never had a problem telling people that they are a failure or whatever.Additionally im finding now walmart competative prices on bread and milk at whole foodsSo im gonna play this with some caution but now i think with whole foods preservative free foods and store brand prices, shopping here is a win win deal.Im gonna keep a close eye on all of their employees though and try to get anyone fired ie without complete face coveringI encourage everyone to try persuade others to wear masks always and correctly. I feel we as americans have a patriotic duty to sanction ie punish noncompliance with public health standards. This is not a time for trying to do anything ie mask slipped or im anxious about breathing or whatever. People who try are failures and should just be ignored and rejected.

I have to say that this was the best experience Ive ever had at Whole Foods. During the COVID-19 pandemic when people are going to work and then proceeding to be shut indoors, Whole Foods employees are still giving the best service. I went in 15 minutes before they closed, frantically trying to shop and not overstay my welcome by shopping past closing time. I did it! I made it to the counter right before they closed. The employee still asked me if I found everything that I needed. When I told her that I didnt, but would come back the following day because they were closing, she asked me what I was looking for. I wasnt expecting her to ask me that. I was expecting her to give me the time that they would open on the next business day. I told her and she told me where I would find it if they had it in stock. I ran to find it, but it wasnt in stock. I rushed back to the checkout counter where she was waiting for me with a smile. She then asked me if I had Prime to potentially save more money. I do, but couldnt find the app because I was rushing. I checked out and she greeted me on the way out. I looked back with a warm heart and wondered how COVID-19 has treated her and her loved ones. I enjoyed my experience even though I was rushing. Its the small things, especially at this time. My only regret is that I didnt get her name.
