I have always been a VW driver from the time I was 16 to now, but I had my heart set on a jeep wrangler. Thanks to Terry & Billy & their friendly/funny team over at Matt Bowers. I have been driving my 2021 baby around with no roof on and have enjoyed every second. I cant wait to make more memories in my jeep and truly get out in the outdoors the way I always wanted to. I will always recommend friends to you!

Ask for Terry.I literally rode by here just browsing vehicles. I had in mind what I wanted but from the moment I walked in the door I was treated like a PERSON not just a warm body to sell something too. Terry was amazing, personable, knowledgeable, informative, everything you can say to compliment a salesman. Hes a good guy who made the experience personable and easy for me. The sales team here really went the extra mile to help me get my dream vehicle.By now youre probably like, what is this guy smoking hes talking about a car dealership? Yeah, I thought the same thing walking in. But the CULTURE here is so different. I stopped by 4 other lots and was not treated so kindly. Everyone said hello when I walked by and greeted me. You dont even get this level of recognition at a McDonalds drive thru window.I cant say enough about this dealership. They have broken the mold for what customer service means in this industry and its the only reason I went from just looking to buying a new vehicle with their team. My name is Calvin Allen and for this review i just have two words to say; ALISHA BOBBITT! Alisha is by far the best service advisor Ive met in the dealership industry and Matt Bowers period. i had some recall work done the first time i came to Matt Bowers for my dodge journey and i was so glad to have Alisha help me, everything went smooth as possible, same day with great results. A few weeks later my headrest randomly deployed with no rest or anything. Upset, i called Matt Bowers and was told it was a fault in the safety feature and was under nation wide recall, we need to order the piece and we will fix it, great. for some reason and two in a half months of waiting, driving with a stiff neck from the headrest still, out of curiosity i call Matt Bowers wondering if they even remembered me. I called for the parts department and they said they had my part with my name on it for work and its been there for quite some time. confused i called for a salesman and they didnt have any information on me at all. but i knew one person who could clear anything and all things up, Alisha! one call and that was all, she knew me, made an appointment for me that day, told me come in and fixed right then and there. could not have asked for better service from anyone else. With a bubbly personality and lovable charter, so easy to talk to and you cant help but love her as a person. She is truly the main reason i came because is always on the ball ready to give the best service possible and she dose! i am so happy to know if i am ever in a bind, Alisha is one call away with the results anyone would ask for. Super professional and accommodating. My Jeep had 2 recalls (ugh) and Austin stayed on top of things from the beginning. He even ensured the shuttle was able to take me home and available to pick me up. In March my wife and I found our way to Matt Bowers CDJR and ended up leaving with two new jeeps! But that’s not the half of it. The people at this dealership are so freaking nice. Mike Hammack and Victor Vadewuyi have always been there for my wife and I. We’ve had a few bumps in the road but they treat me so good that I can’t imagine ever getting a vehicle from anywhere else! I highly recommend this team of very professional and caring staff. Ask for Victor you won’t be disappointed!

I cant recommend GUS in sales and RYAN the sales manager enough! I had a bit of a rocky start getting started mainly because of my location- they went above and beyond to make sure my needs were met! Gus made sure to do a very thorough walk thru of my car, talked through all electronics, as well as taught me where all the random things I needed to know as a Wrangler owner. If you want a seamless sales experience work with these guys!

We are traveling from out of state and our electronic throttle system went down. We called the first dealership we found and they were able to get us in the same day. Within an hour we knew what was wrong with our vehicle, they gave us a realistic timeline on when it’ll be fixed, and shuttled us back to our hotel. Everyone was extremely nice and sincere about our situation. Our shuttle driver was very polite and we had great conversation. Our service rep, Forest, went above and beyond to ensure our car was serviced in a timely manner and maintained communication. We picked our car up today (dropped off Wednesday evening, parts delivered this morning, and was done by noon) and not only did they fix the initial issue but they also provided an oil change and fixed 2 open recalls at no cost to us. We have always heard about southern hospitality but they went above and beyond making the experience great. Thank you!

Went yesterday to try and make a deal on a 2018 2500 the salesman Gio was very helpful as usual they have to go back and forth with their boss. When he came out with the final paperwork they had put a 1500.00 dealer prep fee I guess this is how they offer lifetime warranty just beware. WILL NOT BE BACK. Buying from Ralph Sellers

Just got an oil change there today. Very friendly staff, cheaper than all the other dodge dealers I have been to in the country, and insanely fast. What is usually a two hour ordeal was done in probably 30 minutes. definitely the Jimmy Johns of Dodge dealers; So fast youll freak!

Bought one of the new Jeep Grand Cherokee L and I absolutely love it! This is my sixth Jeep and by far the best experience I’ve ever had purchasing a vehicle. As you walk up to the dealership, the doors are opened for you, like your royalty. Everyone is so friendly and make you feel so comfortable. My salesman was Terry and he made the process so easy and was so accommodating. He took me and my husband on a tour of the dealership, showed us the service department and introduced us to the service advisors. Even though the Grand Cherokee L just hit the market, Terry knew everything about the vehicle and it’s features. I highly recommend Matt Bowers CDJR if you’re in the market for a new vehicle.

Went in for a oil change was there maybe a hour at most which was pretty good. The guy in the service center was very nice, very helpful, and very attentive. He told me they were under new management and I could tell the difference from my past few visits there. The service is much better.

This dealership has had my car since JUNE 10 to cover storm-related repairs for an insurance claim. They have yet to even TOUCH the car. One of their service writers (Forrest) quit, and instead of assigning the vehicle to someone else, they just let it sit there. The panoramic roof was the problem. Instead of covering the car or putting it in the shop, they left it out in the open. I came back after 2 weeks and it was still sitting outside. It wasnt until I complained that they moved it. It was filled with bird droppings and they said they would wash and detail it. Im sure this hasnt been done which will contribute to a damaged paint job. They do not return calls. The text message update system is a complete joke. The manager has not responded at all either. I am never purchasing from this dealership again or taking my vehicle back to their service center. Since Salisbury sold to this dealer, it has been a COMPLETE NIGHTMARE. No compensation for this issue, no explanation, and no resolution. Absolutely pathetic.

It takes two additional people to ok a price after you meet with a sales person.They wrote down my offer and what they would give me for a trade. I signed it. When I went to sign the purchase papers, they had upped the price of the vehicle by $1000! Thank goodness I do not sign anything without reading it!The salesman, Luis, was wonderful! I enjoyed talking with him while the finance people made me sit and wait from 12:30 until 2:30!Even after I tell them it is this or no deal, they keep talking! Called and expressed interest in a truck. Told them Id be rushed they assured me the process would be quick and painless.Set up an appointment for 4 pm with Roman the sales manager.I show up at 4 pm. Roman is in a meeting. At 415 another sales man tries to help me at least look at the truck in question.4:45 he realizes it was sold.To date. 0 apologizes.The service at this place is a joke. Knowing that in todays climate selling a car is easy. They sort if take advantage of that. Will make sure the people I know avoid this dealership.

We called ahead to let them know which car I wanted to look at and it was sitting out front ready to test drive! The friendliest, kindest, best experience we have ever had purchasing a vehicle. Clarence Wiley, Jeff, Bill, Eric, the entire team were tremendous to work with. We purchased a 2021 Chrysler Pacifica and had a few challenges along the way. On the way home from the dealership the van left our family of five on the side of the road. Clarence to the rescue, he along with another salesman met us on the side of the road with a loaner and had the Pacifica brought back to the shop. What was a difficult and frightening experience with three young kids, Clarence made right. Jeff made every effort to rectify the situation and accommodate our needs while the Pacifica was in the shop. After a second shop visit in less than two weeks, we ended up trading in the first van (Chrysler problem, not dealership). Jeff was able to find us another vehicle out of state and had it at transported to the dealership within two days. The entire team made the process as painless as possible and I could not see purchasing from another dealership. In many businesses, customer service is lacking, this cannot be said about Matt Bowers, from sales to service to finance, they provided phenomenal customer service in the face of a difficult situation. We will be customers for life.

This has been the worse service experience Ive ever had. Luckily, I work two jobs, if my truck would break down in front of Matt Bowers I can afford to have it towed anywhere but here. Ive been dealing with this service department for over a month to get my air conditioning working like it should. To not waste there time and mine, I came in with a service bulletin that addresses the issue. It started with parts getting ordered and I was supposed to get called when they arrived. That didnt happen. Got Ram Cares involved to escalated my issue. They setup an appointment for the 28th. Arrived for my appointment, after taking off work, and they acted like it was a surprise. Talked to Austin and informed him of everything. Well said they had to order parts again for the air conditioning. I told him they should be there at the dealer. He didnt check but, they sent me on the way. I informed Ram cares what happened then a few hours later Forest asked me to bring the truck in again and all parts were there. So I had to take another day off to finally get it fixed......received my truck and the air conditioning is still not working. After 3 days of getting in touch with Forest, I was told the tech knew something wasnt working right and they gave me the truck back anyway, another appointment was set for the 8th of July. Was told Forest no longer works there and I had no appointment and they cant take drop offs. After voicing my concerns to Donnie, he said the manager will take it and have it looked at in a few hours. Gave them all day before I called for an update. After a hour of waiting Donnie finally calls back and says the truck will get looked at the next day. Waited until 4 the next day and truck hasnt been looked at again. I informed him to not worry about it, that I will be taking my truck elsewhere. Both times I asked to speak to the service manager and both times I was not given the opportunity. When I picked my truck up, nothing was said, not even an attempt at an apology. I gave them plenty of patience and respect and this is what I get in return. A truck with an air conditioning system not functioning properly and me having to take my truck to someone else. Definitely dont waste your time with their service department. Customers pay for their employees failures.

My experience with Matt Bowers has been great thus far. Jay was a great salesman that was not pushy in any way. I picked out the vehicle I wanted and the entire ordeal was finished in no more than a couple hours. Unfortunately the used vehicle I purchased (Nissan truck), had a couple issues that came up the day after I purchased it. I informed Jay of the issues and he got me a courtesy vehicle as well as had my truck brought to a Nissan dealership himself for the repairs. I’ll be back for sure.

My sales person did a great job and i would 10/10 recommend him. However, the service department is a joke. Every time i call them i am put on hold for 10-15 minutes or i am directed to a voicemail and never receive a call back. After being told that I should bring my vehicle to another dealership to have any work/service done to it and speaking with them in person I have decided i will not be doing business with them. I have always felt like my problems were an inconvenience and a waste of their time. I will not recommend anyone to this dealership unless things make a major change in their service department.

Dropped my Jeep off today for service after scheduling an appointment two weeks ago. At the time of creating an appointment, I expressed my interest in a loaner car or the shuttle service. Dropped my car off at 7:30 and did not leave the dealership via shuttle until 8:45. This was after me requesting a shuttle again and so happened to be talking to the GM. After being shuttled home, about 7 hours later, I was informed that my Jeep tune up was not happening today because of lack of resources to accomplish. Being that this was the main reason I scheduled my appointment and was informed on my previous visit to reschedule for my tune, all of this caught me by surprise. Dropped my car off at 7:30, couldn’t get a loaner, waited for the shuttle, and being called at 3:30 to inform that my car was ready. Matt Bowers is a nice dealership but Everytime I have an encounter the process is never smooth for me. I thought after being a loyal customer it would get better but nothing has changed. They may mean well but ever appointment I get is a day they are “understaffed”. Hopefully my future appointments aren’t as inconvenient for me. Then they had the audacity to order the parts for my tune up and charge me for them before they got delivered/installed. This caught me by surprise and I wish I would have been informed beforehand.

I’ve had a Jeep Wranger since 2012 in Baton Rouge and Matt bowers is absolutely horrible. They had my Jeep in shop for 3 weeks!!!!!! And didn’t even fix the problem. Donnie from service is ridiculously rude. Get better service staff and stop robbing me of my $ when u do a horrible job. It’s a shame this is the only Jeep dealership in town- it’s an embarrassment for Jeep. Donnie is awful

Highly do not recommend ever purchasing a car from this dealership. Purchased a used car from them in January this year and the first week of owning it the service engine soon light comes on. They have signs all over their establishment advertising the Life Time Power Train Warranty which I was told that I had the day I wrote a check for the car. They have never honored this warranty. After owning the car 2 months I had to spend another $1000 in repairs and $250 in towing expenses. The car, which is still not fixed, now needs a new motor which they will not honor. I will never do business here again and do not recommend to anybody!

These guys are great. It didn’t work out the first time I went because they didn’t have what I was looking for but the second time I went, they made sure I left with exactly what I wanted. So this was a little hard for me. I usually dont post a reviews. This time I had to. My buying experience was so different this time. Buying from Matt Bowers CDJR was less pressure and dare I say a pleasurable experience. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and treated me like a friend (not like a customer that was there to make a purchase). I know they wanted to make the sale, thats their job, I understand that (every one of us have to make a living), but my budget was always in their focus and from the sales staff to the finance department they kept that in mind. I want to thank my salesman Brody Gee, Sales manager Matt (sorry didnt get a last name), Sales manager Jeff Cope and Duke Gronkwoski in finance for all their hard work. I brought my vehicle in for routine scheduled maintenance on two occasions which consisted of oil change, inspection of all systems. Each time dropping my vehicle off at 8 am in the morning not only did they keep my vehicle overnight I was left with no transportation they never offered me transportation I live 100 miles from this dealership.I paid for this poor service out of my pocket. The front end alignment they charged me for and claimed to do was never done they changed two tires scratched my rims that can’t be fixed and left some type of white gunk all over the tires and rims. While waiting on my ride to work that I had to arrange for myself a salesman approached me asking If I was interested in selling my vehicle that was a joke! I’m writing this review kindly for the size of this dealership Matt Bowers Dodge in Baton Rouge has the worse customer service and sales that I have ever experienced in my 20 years of vehicle ownership!! If you value your vehicle Don’t bring it here!!

Had a difficult time scheduling appointment. Left message with service desk & they didnt return a call. Another time its rang unanswered. Finally scheduled it and today was the day. I arrived on time for the 11:00AM appointment. When I finally left the dealership it was 1:28PM. That is 2+ hours. On my service department summary it states: HOURS .20. No multi point inspection performed. Seriously?! AT LEAST it is a huge beautiful waiting room offering free coffee & water because youre going to be there a LONG TIME. I will NOT be purchasing my next car here and if aftermarket SERVICE is important, neither should you.

Alisha was my CUSTOMER REP. Great customer service skills. I like seeing Damien and Brad. Im glad they are still there. I like to see the little mascot running around the facility. Everyone appears to have a customers best interest at the top of the list. Is the little fur baby named Buddy? Dont forget to have a little Christmas tree and a Santa for the children to take a picture with them this Christmas. The little tree is for the treats Buddy will receive for the Christmas holidays. Do yourself a favor go see salesman Zach Price and get the best deal on a new truck. Best sales experience Ive had in a long time. Mike Hammack is one of the best finance managers Ive dealt with I was in an out of his office in 5 minutes. And sales manager Billy Tharpe was the coolest guy in the business at his position. Quit looking elsewhere, this is the place.

Went there twice to get a new used truck, wasted hours of my life and allowed me to test drive a busted 2014 ram 1500. Not only will I never buy ram but I’ll never conduct business with Matt Bowers ever again as long as I live. Imagine paying $20,000 for a ram that fails on the test drive. Power steering just stopped so here I am in traffic unable to control my vehicle. Don’t waste your time or money. If I could leave -0 start I would.

I just want to say Mr. Duke was very cool and nice tempered, which i believe is a very good characteristic when being a sales person, he let me view the car and drive it and was pleasant throughout the buying experience. He also did not hound me to come a purchase the vehicle which I liked cause it gave me some time to think. The Finance Manager Mike, gave me one of the best experiences that I have ever had when purchasing a car he was very focused and also relaxed which did not stress me out about the whole car buying experience. When I think of Matt Bowers Dodge, two words come to mind--utter incompetence. From sales to service, every person we have dealt with, with the exception of Gus, has dropped the ball. We purchased two vehicles in the last year from them and we will never return again. Inept salesmen and a service department that has been repeatedly unable to differentiate between my vehicle and my wifes for recalled parts has driven us to the point of total frustration. Just when I think they have things turned around and are actually competent to assist us, someone in this organization drops the ball. 0/10.

When I came into Matt Bowers to get a routine oil change there was some miscommunication on the overall level of service which lead me to a bit of frustration. Luckily the new service manager, Jeff Cope, took a professional step in and looked at the situation to make everything right. Great customer service! I didn’t go with the intention of buying because my trade was in bad shape but they took very good care of me and did not let up until they got me a great deal. The services offered for after buying are really great and although I live an hour away, I will most likely be returning for all service. Sales manager made sure I was taken very good care of. Finance guy was very straight forward and made it a comfortable experience the whole way through. Highly recommend!

I own a 2018 ALFA Romeo Stelvio Ti Sport. The ALFA division at my dealership shut down and the dealer did not want to service my vehicle, not even for oil change. I reached out to several places for oil change and not one place or dealership wanted to service my car. Matt Bowers Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is the only dealership that agreed to service my car. Twice they have done the oil change for me so far and on both occasions the Service Advisors have been magnificent. First time it was Ashley, and Donnie on the second oil change. Excellent Dealership, Excellent Service Department, Excellent Service Advisors.

I was picking up a vehicle. I was greeted when I walked in but apparently only Forrest was the only one capable of taking care of me so I waited for nearly 20 mins then there was a problem when he tried closing out the ticket so that took another 15 mins or so. Almost an hour later I finally get to the cashier. Come to find out they processed the wrong paper work because it was the wrong vehicle so I had to go back to Forrest up front and wait around as other people were being taken care of because they were gonna be alot faster getting through so I had to continually be put aside. Poor customer service. I have a commercial account with these people and ill be sure to not give them any more business.

Mike in finance ensured a smooth and clear transaction, and we are extremely pleased with our purchase.I returned to the dealership a few days later to get a bed liner sprayed in and to purchase all weather mats. The service department was wonderful and took my truck at the time of the actual appointment- I’ve waited hours at other dealerships to even be seen for a scheduled time. Didnt have an inspection sticker which Ive been told I shouldnt have been able to leave lot without nor will they inspect it now.
