At one time, a car was a luxury. Now, its a necessity! You better find a mechanic you trust like your doctor. Theyre that important. Ive had to depend upon this shop several times for repair work to my vehicle. From having a radiator replaced to getting other repair work estimates, theyve been completely honest and straightforward. I can recommend them and will continue to use them as my mechanic shop.

Waited 46 minutes for oil change, guess sitting and waiting and watching techs should have left, very unorganized, guy shows me oil jug brand and type for my diesel Rotelka 15w40 I agreed that is all my truck has used. I have 245k miles on it and love my truck my regular shop was backed up a week and I was at my 5k mile oil change time and going out of town, called ahead they said they could do oil change a tire rotation because they close at 6pm, first thing I noticed the guy putting in oil from a blue jug and had white jugs lined up, got out and asked him what he just put in he said Rotella.......asked to see jug he put down stairs and it was synthetic not the conventional oil we agreed on ......almost blew gasket...had him drain what he put in..dont think he got all out did not replace filter again...then he filled with correct oil...not an oil specialist but have no idea if you can mix the two types or if it would have damaged my engine..did 8 mention I have 245k miles on my 97 f250 and expect 250k more before rebuildNeedless to say I will never be back137 bucks spentNow anxiety on if i will have engine issues from this incompetence oil changePretty sure it said speedy oil 10 min on buildingI realize covid has the work force down and companies will hire anybody who will show up

Might be a little busy at times but these guys do good work. I went here once, ready to drop a bunch of money on new tires, but they said my current tires were still good, no need to spend money on new ones. Instead of making money doing what I asked, they did what was right for me, which I appreciated, so Ill continue to give them my business.

Theyre nice and a good price but they dont pay attention or care about how the quality of the work they do is. One visit I waited for my car for at least 2.5 hrs after they said itd be maybe an hr. Another visit when I got the car my hubcap wasnt on right. The space for the stem to air the tire up was not where the stem was. A third visit they did not put my hubcap on my new tire after changing my spare off it. They saw the hubcap in my trunk when they took the old tire out and again when they put my spare in its place in my trunk. They would have had to move it so it should have been corrected when they saw it. They then said I should have told them when it is their job to do their job correctly and point out something to the customer if they run across an issue. Not just shrug it off, ignore it, and then blame the customer. When asked if I could come back and fix it they said it would have to wait till the next day even though it was an hr before closing and before they were able to change the whole tire within 10 min of me arriving. Very unprofessional.

I have been trying for months to get an oil change for my 33ft RV on a 2019 Ford E-450 chassis. Rob and the rest of the team were great and adjusted as needed to accommodate my big rig. I am a full-time RVer so being able to get in and out in less than hour was awesome and appreciated more than I can say. Thank y’all!Highly recommend 😁

Horrible! Will never visit again. Went in for an oil change, offered a coolant drain and fill and it was the worst experience Ive ever had with my vehicle. Stay away from this place!

Timothy was great! His knowledge and customer service was the best Ive had during an oil change. He told me what other services my car could use but did not pressure me into getting those services. He answered all my questions and provided quotes for those services that I would need.This factor made me want to return when I do have the time to get those services done. I will definitely return!

Painless vehicle inspection. Sat in the decent waiting room with great coffee for about 15 minutes and I was on my way. Everyone was very pleasant.

They perform well but just wont put the oil i want and currently been running in my motor since I bought my vehicle in 2006. Its company policy. The workers would of done it if it wasnt for that

My experience at this location has been exceptional each and every time I visited. Timothy Williams is the person I have both interactions with and his customer service skills are impeccable. He was always friendly, helpful, and educational all while making sure I never left unsatisfied. An amazing worker and would be more than happy and willing to refer people here.

Timothy at the Express Oil Change at 7680 Perkins Rd., Baton Rouge provided excellent service to my vehicle for the state inspection sticker. Timothy was very courteous and respectful and I was very appreciative of the fact that Timothy recognized my military veteran status and also my presence as a sheriffs deputy In uniform. I had the opportunity to speak with him briefly after he returned my vehicle to me after service. He briefly stated that of one of his relatives had served during the Persian Gulf war of the 1990s in the military, and I expressed to him of my military service with the US Marines many years before the Persian Gulf War as a now 54 year old military veteran. Timothy should be commended for efficient and timely service in addition to the courtesy and respect He showed me. My review of this young man’s excellent service is not an exaggeration but it is a sincere appreciation for his work, because there are those in the industry that he serves in would that would have not provided excellent service because of my military status and my position as a sheriffs deputy and I do once again humbly appreciate the fact that this young man is serving not only the customers of this community but he is showing appreciation for the men and women of this nation in uniform and the men and women in uniform for this community as well. Was helped right away for an oil change from Mr. Steve. He made sure that I had all the correct things in-line since I don’t know much about vehicles. Mr. Brian eventually came over and he and Mr. Steve did a tremendous job explaining things to me while having very friendly tones. I’d say for timeliness and hospitality, I haven’t been to a better place.

I have come in the past for inspection stickers and had no issues. However, I came in to get a tire evaluated and potentially patched. I was very unimpressed with the attitude of the man that helped me, and I was even more upset with my wait time being that I was one of only two people there. I waited over an hour.

Really painless experience and quick time of repair from the guys. My tire was going flat as I pulled in and they were able to fix it without any problems right then and there. Very thankful for the service and how nice the staff was to me. Highly recommend.

Just went in to have brake lamp bulb replaced. Did not have to wait although I went into their air-conditioned waiting room. The job was done very quickly, worker was very, very pleasant and price was reasonable. Thank you for such a good job.

Came in for spark plugs and engine coil I knew for a fact that was the problem with my car and the guy insisted that I get a diagnostic test for 120$ A hour even tho I told them I just need the spark plugs and engine coil the guy came back with a bill for 1500$ With a list of things that I didn’t need nor asked for and expected me to pay 1500$ I honestly hate going to these auto repair stores and they drive the price up with things you didn’t ask for or don’t need just for more money TIRE ENGINEERS is a SCAM. 1500$ and all I wanted was spark plugs and engine coil and I told them that they could go and put my things back together on my car and told them that I didn’t want them to do anything else anymore and the guy told me it would be 59.99$ that I had to pay them for what they did and still charge me 65.57$ for them to nothing. SCAM

Easily the best, most professional oil change/auto shop place I’ve ever been to. The guys here are incredibly helpful, honest, and super polite. I can’t say enough good things about this place. I bought a complete new set of tires from here at a good price, and on top of getting a great rebate on my tires, they also rotate my tires free of charge! It might sound silly, but this particular Express Oil Change is one of the things I miss most about Baton Rouge. I still try to come here for their services when I know I’ll be passing through. These guys can’t be beat!

Good service and hassle free. If you go in for an oil change they do not try and up sale you, and it is very much appreciated. Literally waited for 25 minutes at the stop sign, first in line no one came to even begin the process Of my inspection or to greet me . After waiting in my car a few minutes, I went to the garage and the gentleman told me to wait in my car. After my 25 minute wait, Still no one came around, I pulled forward and turned around and there were three employees literally just chatting behind some type of fence partition . After I left they quickly disbursed, and one gentleman started walking toward the inspection service line. 1/22/2020, at 1:35 PM. This is the second time I’ve attempted an inspection at this store. The first time was understandable, they were very busy. Won’t be going there again for an inspection or oil change.

Anthony is doing a fantastic job taking care of me today at Express. I came in for a oil change and he was very courteous and informative on the process. He even checked my air filter and compared a new one to mine so I could see that it needed to be changed instead of taking his words for it. He’s also giving me a great deal on new windshield wipers because mine is needed to be changed. They were dry rotting when I came to express. Overall great quality service from Anthony.

This is my preferred shop for oil changes and has been for a few years now. The mechanics are great and actually know their stuff. You may pay a bit more than other places around the area but at least youll get quality service. Comparing Express to 5 Minute, Bennys, Jiffy Lube, etc., is like comparing Ruth Chris to McDonalds.If you love your car, treat it right and bring it to Express Oil Change, where it WONT get a cross-threaded drain plug or trans fluid in your engine block!

2 HOURS and 40 MINUTES for a state inspection. Was told it would take an hour upon arrival. Theyre one of the few in my area that provide inspections, so I get it (there were about 6 vehicles in front of me, another 6 that chose not to wait). The place on College that recently closed would take 10 minutes per vehicle, max. I was shocked to see a 4.7 rating on Google. With $100 oil changes and 165 minute inspections, the employees must be writing google reviews instead of putting stickers on windshields.Edit: Oh, and dont bother with the copy/paste check out our website... put your contact info response. Too many alternatives in BR for me to put myself through that again. Hopefully there are other options for inspections near me. If not Id be better off driving outside of the city. There are better ways of wasting my time.

Tried this place after learning Rapid Lube had changed ownership and been converted to a Take 5...The Yelp reviews dont paint a pretty picture, but I had a pleasant experience. The service was timely and thorough, tech was friendly and knowledgeable, and the price is consistent with other oil change venues. I recommend.

Decent service but only when it’s convenient for them. Went by three times over the last couple of days and each time they didn’t have time to help me get a simple oil change. Yesterday at 20 to close with one person ahead of me, I get it, you wanna finish and be done at 6. But today I went again with 20 minutes before close, no one else waiting and was told they were shut down already since “it was dead all day.” Went around the corner to Take 5 and had a much better experience.

As a customer who has been around few countries where I had to get my vehicle’s fluid maintained and parts repaired, I must say; this is by far the best customer service I received. It was very easy to book an estimated appointment online for my oil change, but I also had the chance to call and make sure the information online were up to date and accurate since we all know it can get busy at any given moment and I may have to wait longer.The person on the phone was respectful and helpful in his advice on wait time and the services they provide with pricing as well.When I arrived on time there were couple cars ahead of me but I understood my vehicle will take longer than planned because it’s a 1st come 1st serve type of business.My oil change’s price was good, and the professionalism displayed by the manager was very appreciated. He kept doing his best to get every customer including myself out of there in a reasonable time. They even checked my tires’ air pressure while I waited 😊I will definitely come back here as long as there is such a hard working honest team with the same great customer service.

Poor work!! I was too lazy to take my car to the dealership to get a oil change. Decided since this business is so close to me Ill give them a shot. Something simple is a oil change. End up costing me $1,200 to get my car repaired. The dealership to me my oil filter has been put on with so much force. The housing that holds it is correct. First off I stumbled across this oil change place because it had the BEST reviews around the area. I’m from out of town & needed a oil change before I hit the road & Anthony serviced me very quickly & professionally. As a out of town visitor I was over all satisfied!!!

I have been using Express Oil Change since it opened for my truck and the 3 other cars in my family for oil changes and repairs. I have always had great service and its reasonably priced too. Rob the manager and Danny the mechanic are always approachable, informative and dont push you to have work done that is perhaps not necessary.

Brian and Kenny asked me to write a review on their services which overall were good. I was helped immediately upon arrival and they were relatively quick being I needed 2 new tires that were coming from 45min away. However, I am still disappointed because when I arrived I asked for a tire rotation, inspection, and alignment. It wasn’t until after I paid for my new tires that I was told they couldn’t do alignments there. Seems to me if you’re putting on new tires you should also be checking alignment because they go hand in hand. Apart from the work that was done, this was a complete bait and switch.

They did a good enough job on the oil change as best I could tell. Trouble came after theInspection. I had just arrived in town from a long trip that I prepped the car well for. Suspiciously, the car needed to have the brake fluid replaced, new windshield wipers, and a new air filter. All of these I had done two weeks earlier myself. They werent even bothered that they had just proven they were either dishonest or incompetent. I havent been back.

Superb Service.Passing through the country from New Jersey, this was a great stop for service. Professional staff and concise with their procedures. They were even proactive in accommodating me with little things like putting 6,000 miles on the upcoming service tag instead of the automated 3,000 mile printout.I hope to find more service centers as this one across the country now that work has me travel more often.
