The new manager is great definitely knows what hes talking about and seem to have gotten the place in order the staff is much more friendlier. seems like hes more about the quality of the sales than the number of them definitely will have my return business whereas it kind of scared me off a few years ago

Just saying if youre looking for pre owned dont expect the game to be tested before they buy just learned the hard way. Anyone thinking might the my system please explain why the dozens of other games and even more movies play with no issue besides the single one I just bought from this store thanks to the dollar warranty I guess. Update returned game for different one and guess what!!?? It doesnt work this place is a joke a game store that sells broken games 😠😠😠

BUYER BEWAREif you purchase a used gaming console, or a refurbished one, before you walk out of that store make sure it has a tamper sticker on the case. You should check with a manager to be sure. Ours did not have one, and because of that our warranty was voided. After it died on us, I called the manager and spoke to her directly. unfortunately at this point I cannot prove that I did not remove the sticker, but it is my personal testimony that there was no tamper sticker on the case when I took it apart. I am now out $300 and theres nothing I can do about it.Original postAbout a month ago we bought a used Xbox One from here. This morning, our son spilled juice on it so I opened the case to Clean it and found it was full of cockroach carcasses. Im not saying this is the cause of the recent roaches weve been seeing around the house, but the coincidence is uncanny. We are very clean people and were shocked to find these little buggers in our home.

We love this store. Always come here and leave with some great toys and memrobilya. Best place in Batesville to shop for games also. The employees are wonderful and know us on a first name basis.

I called at about 4:45 today to make sure they would still be open when I got there. I then drove for an hour to purchase the game I asked about on the phone, only to find that he (I say “he” because I couldn’t understand his mumbles on the phone well enough to know his actual name) decided to close the store early. I made it to the store at 5:55 when they were supposed to close at 6. The doors were locked and nobody was answering the phone to let me know why they weren’t open when he said they would be.

Went there looking for a used Xbox one controller, didnt have any in stock.

Half of the used games I have bought at this store did not work and had to be returned. They obviously do not clean the discs, as they are always filthy and covered with prints and scratched. I know I cannot be the only person who has this problem.

Great place to buy new video games not so much on the trading in games unless you have the Power Up Rewards and trade the game in within the first so many months

Gamestop, as the title incinuates, is a store for gamers. They have products ranging from video games, to figures, to fashion accessories that are all video game related. Video games for all the most recent consoles are sold here along with their accesories.

Nicely kept, always friendly, and very knowledgeable of a wide variety of gaming content, gaming consoles, and games yet to be released. I visit three different GameStop stores every year, one in Searcy, one in North Little Rock (inside the McCain Mall), and the store in Batesville, all of which are in Arkansas. As an experienced gamer, it is my opinion that the Batesville locale is by far the best store to visit for any gaming needs.

Stole my purchase. As I literally hit submit order on a preorder with my payment information, Gamestop removed my order from my cart. Absolutely terrible. Never use them for preoder; not only did I not get my item, they also have my payment info. Dont mess with peoples carts.
