So comfortable and cozy here, located in the village of Batavia. Love the exposed brick interior and the festive seasonal decor for fall. Tasty iced chai latte and friendly staff.

Stopped in for the first time recently to kill time before a nearby appointment, and figured Id try a matcha latte with oat milk. I didnt have high hopes, especially after I received it and it was brownish in color - similar to avocado thats gone bad. I was pleasantly surprised when it was actually delicious! It was so good I had to stop back in after my appointment to grab another one! I plan to come back every time Im passing through Batavia while theyre open.

The atmosphere in general is pleasant, somewhat Coffee Culture-esque and trendy. The employees were helpful and friendly. The coffee was good and there was a fair variety of options for the menu.However, the food itself was not good, especially for the price - $5 for a grilled cheese with one slice of one type of cheese on plain bread? The scone looked homemade but upon biting into it, the filling tasted like something out of a can.It was a very underwhelming experience. We would consider going again, but we are certainly not in a rush to do so.

Got a matcha latte that was on the online menu, it was brown instead of green and tasted off. Wish they just would of told me they were out/low on matcha.

Went there for the first time and the atmosphere is so calm and beautiful. You can come relax and just chill there with a cup of coffee and feel at home. I will definitely be going back. Also the man at the register was funny and very welcoming as I did NOT know what I wanted 🙃 😅

I prefer the Coffee Presss iced vanilla lattes over Dunkin, Tim Hortons, and Starbucks. Every time, their drinks are perfect. Tons of options, and they even offer alcohol. A true gem in Batavia!

Love the place for a quick bite to eat. Was wonderful to get real coffee and just catch my breath. Make sure you get a pastry or baked good as well. Love the mom/pop Cafe vibe. The antique typewriters definitely add to the atmosphere

This is such a cute and cozy coffee shop. Was i. Town for a training and came here for lunch. The globe salad is delicious! Customer service is great and everything came out rather quickly.

Nice atmosphere and great drinks. I do not like the use of to-go plastics and paper. My friend and I stayed there to chat with our drinks and were not offered mugs or anything reusable and sustainable.

Coffee was excellent. Ristretto shots are great in the coffee. Almond Cranberry turnover was delicious. Staff did a great job with service and coffee preparation.

Super cute little place with very good food and drinks! The flavored iced coffees are delicious, and I had the Globe salad that I really enjoyed. My cousins both got paninis that were very good too. I had the avocado cucumber smoothie and it was super tasty. I loved everything I tried and will definitely return. Portions are perfect also. We all ate our full meals and were full enough but not stuffed. Its nice to feel satisfied and not have a ton of leftovers. Really happy a place like this opened in Batavia!

This coffee house has a lot going for it. The environment is very vintage yet modern NYC news writer kinda vibe and the staff is friendly. The creativity in the decoration is so adorable but they should really apply a resin coating to their counter tops and tables because getting even a tiny splash of coffee on, what looks like glossy modpodge, it’s just going to get soggy and tear and get ruined very easily. I ordered a chai tea latte with almond milk and the milk should’ve been steamed longer but it was still good after splashing some of my boyfriends piping hot black coffee into it. My almond turnover was delicious but my boyfriends breakfast sandwich was SO tiny and nothing came with it. It looked goofy on the plate because it was so small; and for a price! Again, delicious! But tiny. In all, this place has so much potential but they just opened last week and I’m sure there’s almost always adjustments to make after a grand opening.

This is a beautiful coffee shop with plenty of seating and an obvious attention to detail in the inside atmosphere. I would suggest better lighting. The uncovered industrial style bulbs are awesome, but really do a disservice near the order area. The menus, although nicely done, are hung so high on the wall you about need binoculars to see them! Combined with the glare from the bulbs it makes for a frustrating choosing experience. My hot cappuccino was very good. Would have been excellent but my flavor was a bit light compared to my husbands so a bit inconsistent. The foam, which is important to me, was perfect. Taste was bold and very good. We had two sandwhiches from the breakfast menu and they were great too, although a bit pricy, but normal coffee house cost. I only mention this because I worry some places will price themselves out of the area and we want places like the Coffee Press to do well! The barista was clearly skilled but a bit grumpy which was understandable since he was there all alone, had to prepare the coffee, food and take orders. He did well despite the crowd accumulating but another staff memeber would have been helpful to alleviate the wait. I love the place and it is a great addition to Batavia. Give it a try!
