This is the second time I have come into this store in the middle of day and there are no baskets inside. There is also no one in the parking lot trying to retrieve them either except for your customers! Apparently it doesnt matter if you report issues to customer service. This store has really declined.
DO NOT ORDER A PHOTO CAKE FROM THIS LOCATION.Ordered a photo cake from here. Photo was not centered at all. I put a lot of stuff on top of the cake to coverup the awful job Kroger did with the cake. That was not all I told the guy three times to make sure confetti used on the 24 cupcakes I ordered Do Not use the pastel Easter egg colors use the regular blue green red yellow etc. colors so that the cupcakes would match the cake picture. I had pastel girly colors on my sons 24 birthday cupcakes. Also from a previous birthday I said no confetti and they put confetti on it. The same guy have been taking my cake order each time. I can tell he doesn’t want to take the order which is so annoying to me because I just really want to be able to order my cake and get out of there. The cake is such an important feature to a birthday party and I had no desire to take a picture of the cake or to let anyone see it.
From no cashiers, to no carts, to 2 lines of 10 plus carts waiting to check out. This Kroger can’t seem to get a handle on Modern times.Although there’s plenty of personnel in other parts of the store, staffing the checkout line doesn’t seem to be a priority at this location. It’s a shame for a business that has a computerized system to call workers to the front when there are more than four people in the checkout line.
I am very disappointed with this Kroger. The customer service is awful. The cashiers look angry all the time, I have to bag my own grocery or help the cashier and no one seem to have time to help you. This use to be the best Kroger, not anymore. So sad.
They literally never have carts. You have to go search the parking lot and hope to find one.
Excellent place I love very clean tidy find everything. I love the employees always very friendly and willing to help
Lack of decent employees or employees at all. Every time Ive come to this location over the past 6 months its just gone downhill.I end up having to do self checkout every single time (with up to $300 worth of groceries) because there is only one cashier working. There are tons of employees wandering around the store yet only one cashier on duty per shift it seems. You have to search the parking lot for a basket usually. This used to be my Kroger of choice but now Ill never come back to this location.
Very nice all the way around. Clean and well-stocked. Check out with Patricia was professional. She was very helpful! Nice to see that they had so many electric carts.
Only thing its got going for it is Location!Produce is trash. MILK and Meat spoil early. And the Pharmacy is Not Right. Judgemental!Thats if they even have your meds...With NO Replys, it says a lot about Management!
Short staffed but the customer service is still good. Also, still one of the cleanest Krogers in Memphis.
Just want to express my gratitude to two employees, Samson and Jacob. Im moving across country, and stopped at this Kroger. I got stuck in the snow, and Samson saw me try to get out and immediately came to help. He then enlisted the help of his co-worker Jacob, and together we got my car unstuck. They wouldnt take any money that I offered, they said they were just glad to help me. I will forever be loyal to the Kroger brand because of the kindness showed to me by their employees. Good job!
Never enough cashiers. Hire some people. Get rid of the self checkout and give people jobs. When there are lines, all the fat guys from corporate walking around looking at the lines should help out. Instead they just look and walk. Customer service is nonexistent.
Either this particular Kroger hired a bunch of security guards with 5-10 years of Walmart experience or they borrowed Walmarts let me see your receipt customer exiting policy lol.
Customer friendly experience. Clean environment. Mask wearing and social distancing require before entry. Fast check out. Free parking including handicapped accessible. Public restrooms available for Male and female. Visible at the corner of Kirby Whitten Rd and Stage Rd. Open 24 hours a day. Drive in pharmacy available. Online ordering and store pickup available.
This Kroger is not good and the staff is not very good. It seems like I expect too much but all I ask is that you be kind and courteous. What happened to customer service? I think COVID-19 is behind it!!!!
MASSIVE LINES ALL THE TIME. ONLY 1 SELF CHECKOUT OPEN WHEN THERE ARE 2.
I want to commend Karen Nelson of the deli department at Kroger 5995 Stage Rd Bartlett. I was trying a first time recipe with great reluctance in being able to find necessary items. I asked her where could I find the ravioli needed for the recipe. She showed me the one in the deli department and looked up other locations and referred me to two other areas to find it! I found it in each area that she suggested. She was kind, patient and helpful! People complain when something is wrong. I want to compliment and acknowledge when it was done right! Kudos to her! We need more employees like her. Job well done, Karen Nelson!!!
I hated theres check out to confusing and lines are extremely long..
They need to re-evaluate how they operate their ClickList department. There is no communication and it leaves people waiting an hour or more for orders. It’s frustrating to see people arrive after you and receive their order before you. This isn’t a one time experience either. This is an ongoing problem. How is there only one person that operates the whole department?I will say the young lady who does work the department is nothing but nice and courteous, but maybe management should get her some help and figure out a better system of working because their current setup is awful.
Took 20 minutes in line just to use the self checkout.
Flies on produce, deli counter areas and slicing areas with flies. Also for the 3rd time in 30 days, NO MASK or GLOVES on shopping cart collector, even with no protection on his face he still cant acknowledge a simple hello, even after eye contact. Im sure there are other people who would be grateful to have a job with a more pleasant outlook on life.
If you are in search of some incredible service with a smile & then some extra special VIP treatment...you came to the right place. Janice & Cody in the Bakery department are stellar individuals and if they arent enough there is Sharon in the Deli department. I thank each of you for your incredible service with a smile and winning attitudes. And kudos to who hired these quality individuals. I wish each of you continued success.
This place is ridiculous there is never baskets you have to turn around go outside and hunt for one the lady in front of me at self checkout was shoplifting her and her kids told the manager and he just went on about his business get it together Kroger shopping at Aldis from now on.
Customer service is terrible here. First, after starting a service after 8 p.m. I was told I would have to come back at 8 a.m., there was no notice up with instructions that servise stops at 8 p.m. Returning the next morning at 8 a.m. I was first in line and promptly at 8:40 when customer service employee shows up to look past me and ask the person next in line could she help her. Today is my last trip to this kroger and my list of terrible customer service has been growing for a while!
Been going to Kroger to cash my check for almost 3 years now. Now all of a sudden they can only cash specific checks. They didn’t even try to cash my check they just told me no. But the person in front of me cashing a check from the same company was able to cash there check. Kroger come up with new rules every other day. They told me to go to Super Lo. why would i want to go to super lo when Kroger has always cashed my check. Hate Kroger with a passion, go to Aldi they have better food anyway with better service.
2 cashiers and no one bagging in full, crowded store. Almost every time Im in here. In line 15 minutes.
Worse pickup experience one could ever have. As I text now I have been waiting almost a hour. Went and got the manager let’s see what happens 😡
Every time I come to this location there are only 3 lanes open (including self check out) lines are extended down the aisles. Ridiculous!! The manager should be replaced for allowing this.
Nice clean store stocked better than other Krogers around. Plenty of hand sanitizer in store.
Grocery pickup here was stellar at the beginning of this pandemic. Now for the last few weeks you’ll wait 30+ minutes for your order (or longer because I usually just call back after 30mins to see what’s the problem) even when you clearly see no one else waiting on an order. They’ve also been “forgetting” items or giving you different items without noting substitutes, and of course you don’t realize it until you get home which presents a whole other headache. The female manager for clicklist is rude and so are some of the employees. As soon as you ask a question their first answer is “you can always cancel your order”..so instead of finding an answer or pretending you care about the customer you’d rather lose money for your store? Okay. Cancel it then.
Rosalie left the produce section to help blow up balloons for my mothers bday. She took her time decorating with ribbons and weights. On our way to check out, Robert stopped us to make us aware of an open register and assisted us along the way! We are so grateful for the kindness and positivity they shared. It is truly contagious. This location is awesome. Thanks for a great experience!
Ive shopped this store 26yrs. John,my meat man Is excellent. Terry my seafood man is excellent. They know what i like, and how i like my fish, chicken, and meat always fresh. I buy what came in that day, and my meat what part is the best. They know how fresh I like my chicken. I want chicken that is fresh, not with an odor. There was a time that i knew the managers, but with the moving around, I dont know them, and they are not as friendly. When I shop at a store, I make it a point to know mangers, workers, and checkers, and I want them too know me, and I know them.26yrs of continued support, knowing Im not the only customer, but owning my own business for 47yrs., Customer service is the most important part of your business. It keeps repeated business so that customers can feel comfortable knowing that they are getting the freshest product possible.
I just love Kroger, especially this one. They have a great choice of articles and very good meat. The weekly offers are great, too. The only thing that is not so good is that the dairy and cheese section is a little bit far away. Other than that it is a great store with nice staff.
It started off awful when I checked out the assistant didnt crack a smile to the point of I wanted to ask her if she hated her job and finally at the end she smiled maybe you need to tell the older ones that we may be having a hard day and sometimes when clerks smile it makes your day brighter and it also says yes I like shopping here cause the people are so friendly here lately that is not how it is at the Kroger on stage and Bartlett Blvd there is one named zeta and she frowns most of the time 2 other older white ladies that dont smile but there is one black lady that is always nice and she is always smiling and makes you feel so good her name is Dale and I love it when she is at the self check out. And that is where I do my checking cause I dont like how the checkers bag
Its very convenient. The staff is very helpful. Kroger has fresh produce and good quality meats. And their prices and discounts help tremendously when on a budget. Great place to buy my groceries
Never had any issues here. Workers do their job and are efficient. Most dont talk much but I dont every l expect super friendly people at a grocery store.
My first time visiting this location in several months. They have done a great job in spacing of the layout. They have updated the U-Scan registers. And the greeter that I remember has returned to her normal store. A good shopping experience overall.
Extremely slow in rude when I talk to the meat department guy please have a meeting with them because it could have went bad
Great customer service and found all I needed and more. Also love having Independent Bank available to me especially in Saturdays. Great bank as well.
After working a 12 hour shift at my job I had to go grocery shopping. I arrived at 940 and began my shopping. After about an hour and a buggy FULL of groceries I went to check out. All that the store had open was the you scan. This would have been ok had I not had 200 written off groceries in my cart. I was exhausted and asked if they could please get someone to check me out. I was told no. I should have walked out but I didnt want to have to do more shopping later. It took me forever to check out and bag my own stuff and I shouldnt have had to do that. They can Well afford to have at least one register open. They just choose not to. They would rather save 8 bucks an hour on payroll than keep some one on the clock. I will NEVER go back here again.
Great customer service at self-checkout! Young man was so helpful assisted me, each time I had a question. Thank you
Always a pleasure visiting this store. Clean well organized professional staff great sales. This place is awesome👍🏿
LaToya in the pharmacy tried to buy some of my medication from me while I was attempting to get a refill. I get a controlled substance and she recognized the name on paper without having to look it up as if shes extremely familiar. She is my brothers ex so she felt comfortable asking me but I def felt extremely uncomfortable and didnt even get that particular medicine just to avoid her asking to buy them. Smh beware I couldnt get a good pic of her face but her name is Toya. Shes the shorter one on the customers side of the counter because she was clocking out for the day
Nice location, friendly and helpful staff. Open until 1am nightly. That helps me a great deal because I work nights and can shop before going home without the crowd or check out lines. Just a one stop shop.
Also, no help in the bagging area.
Overall the store is in a convenient location, inside set up not the most organized store. Checking on some yogurts today they were expired got some cookies too and for my luck they were expired so I dont know whats going on.
Visited there Krogers this evening. One had no butter; the second one had only unsalted butter but the third one had both salted and unsalted. Employees at the stores were on point except one employee at the first store. Kevin at the first store (on Union) was wonderful. Forgot his last name.
No cashiers, everyone has quit. The lines are impossibly long
Always fresh, always helpful and friendly. In and out quickly. Usually not a long checkout time.
Kroger used to be the go to place. No more. Brands and sizes are changing to their branding; six or more labels of the same types of Mexican cheese or breakfast bar with chocolate and clueless for those whod like something different. No depth in any alternatives. Store redesign means one has to cross the entire box to get what you want. Gone is the specialty area for organics only. One has to hunt. And for mobility challenged, its designed to sell to big families who dont read labels or cook from scratch. Sad. They fail to recognize single baby boomer demographics, an aging population. Thank goodness I am able to shop elsewhere most of the time.
Destiny was an awesome attendant. Very professional. This was my first time doing the preorder thing. A little confusing, but Ill get the hang of it! Thanks Destiny!
Produce is hit or miss and definitely depends on the time of day that you shop. Customer service is good. Large selection of products. Neat and clean. I always use self scan. They have about 11 machines.
Helpful staff! I wish Would have gotten the gentlemans name, but He walked me all the to where my item was! Thank you!
The people working the self check outs here must hate their lives and be some of the most miserable people ever as they certainly treat customers like theyre an inconvenience no matter what time of day Im in here, and after 9pm, ONLY self check outs are open. Its almost impossible to get them to stop their personal conversations to assist you and if you do interrupt them to request help, they will either just walk away or roll their eyes at you and stroll over as it suits them. The ladies at the one on Kirby Whitten are MUCH nicer and that store is cleaner and better stocked as well. I highly recommend going to that one.
Average produce election, signage in the produce area is usually wrong so be careful with pricing and product. The self checkout scanners are very slow and cumbersome and almost make it not worth while to go. They do not speed up the checkout process at this location. The Kroger gas station is one of the few locations that offer diesel fuel, I usually purchase Fuel and gasoline from this location. The prices are competitive and convenient.
Im usually not so critical but I received coupons for free items and the items are not available at this time. I feel like thats not acceptable. The same issue a few weeks ago when they had the All detergent and was sold out in a day. Not good!! But Ill be back!
Friendly staff and the closest grocery store in Memphis that compares to Publix! Nice selection of fresh produce and Kroger carries a wide selection of specialty items too. I love the Friday freebies
My wife and I use the pharmacy here and everyone is friendly and helpful. I would recommend it to anyone.
Visited the store in Bartlett on 12.21.2018, have traded with this store for over 25 years and I have never been so rudely treated and disrespected as I was this evening. The lack of respect and treatment of a customer is unacceptable and reflects negatively on Kroger and the Bartlett community. It is clear that this employee as well as the store does not respect their customers and has no concept or concern for customer service.
I absolutely love this Kroger. Im rarely disappointed when I visit this location. The employees are helpful too.
This is a huge Kroger. We love shopping here. Theyre friendly, decently priced, and the gas rewards program saves us a lot every month!
Its a familiar store with great individual departments and a decent walk-up pharmacy. No huge complaints other than the larger than usual crowds that come to this particular location.
Convenient location and decent prices. Wish they had more vegan/vegetarian food, but other than that its a good Kroger.
4/5 pretty good; would shop again
The staff is always i formative, the store is clean and the deli always has the salads I am looking for. The sushi is kept at the correct temp. The best.Kroger around.
Ive been going to this Kroger for a few years. Weekends are always busy (but thats a given). I decided to go on a Saturday late afternoon and there were 6 carts inside, but they were all stuck together. Luckily another customer helped me pull a couple apart and I was on my shopping trip. I love that the prices have dropped on a lot of items. Everything is pretty easy to find and even for as busy as it was, most items were pretty well stocked. I will continue to go here.
I searched both sides of the isle but could not find Gumbo starter mix. I asked a young man working that isle but he did not know what it was or even if they had any.....this young mans hair was SOOOO DIRTY and unkempt I cant believe they would let him come to work like that and work around food...and no, it was not a style, it was Dirty.
There is a great selection of produce and fresh fish. I wish that they would upgrade the store in my neighborhood. I have to go across town to this store to get seafood. The seafood selection in this store is bigger and better.
The workers are so friendly. And you get through the line quicker! 😃😃😃
Store is very clean and all the employees make you feel so welcome. Love my Kroger!!
Great store, parking can be crazy sometimes but love the location. Usually has in store deals other Krogers dont.
I love my Kroger. The employees are friendly and I can find my products quickly!
Sale items not wringing up correctly at register. Happens often
Co manager ms green came to my aid one Saturday while i was shoping. Had a medical emergency while i was there. She had a ambulance called for me she sat next ti me in the floor. Until they came. But while sitting with me asked what she could do for me. Asked to make my dumb phone be smart that day. And she did. People if not going to this store please rethink you are missing out. They are now a part of my family !! Hope to see u there soon
Great Kroger to shop at plus they usually have a decent amount of manager specials too. Plenty of self checkout so the wait is never to terribly wrong and they also have a redbox and coinstar in the corner by the customer service area.
Very friendly and helpful, but out of stock on the sale items.
Great selection on everything but produce. Better to go to the Kroger on Kirby Whitten if you want selection in your produce.
One word. Great Shopping. Why go any where else?
This was a quick run in and run out but I experienced no delay or problem. I found what I was looking for at self-checkout was a little crowded but no line to wait in.
Hard to find what I need after specialty foods moved in with rest of foods. Need to find a better way to shop.
My experience was a very pleasant experience. I had to speak with a manager concerning an issue that I experience and the manager handled the issue to my satisfaction.
Attention to detail is key here. I went through the check out. Mind you I had a full size shopping cart in check out. The person bagging the groceries chose to put my bags in the small, two basket cart. She didn’t even use the bottom basket, just kept jamming and stacking stuff in the top basket. So, as I am walking to my car, pushing the cart that is stacked awkwardly with groceries, the back portion opens up and all my groceries spill out onto the parking lot. I had to scramble to pick up canned goods and smashed egg cartons on the cross walk. I’ll probably avoid this Kroger moving forward.
Never had a bad experience everyone is friendly.
Shopped for over an hour. Bought 15 of the mega sale items (the buy 5 get $5 off sale).Charged full regular price for 6 of the items even though marked on shelf as included in sale. Had to argue to get sale price. Then had to argue to get them to give the $5 off 3 times for 15 items instead of 1 time for 9 items. They only wanted to take $5 off instead of $15. Then they did $10 off, obviously thinking Id be fine with walking away from $5 that was due for purchasing 15 of the mega sale items. Then, after everything was scanned and I went to pay, was told that they had a new policy on the mega items of taking only 1 coupon for any mega item, no matter how many you bought. So if I bought 5 items total, I could only use 1 coupon if they were mega items. Their company policy is up to 5 like coupons and in this transaction the most like coupons I had was 3 $1.00/2 coupons for 6 items. I follow the rules to a T but this new rule was posted nowhere. I was only told about it after I had already scanned everything.Other issues in same transaction. Waited to talk to customer service for over 20 minutes. She said this has always been their policy but they hadnt enforced it correctly. BS. It was a made-up policy. Things happen and Im cool with that. If you change the rules in your store, let your customers know that BEFORE they spend time in your store. Im sure most people just waved it off and paid the full price charged instead of holding Kroger to their own advertised prices and published coupon policy.
Great selection. Often difficult to find help if you need it. Clean bathrooms and great deals.Click list is terrible. Save your self an hour wait and go-to walmart. 50min wait the two times Ive done click list...
Its kroger. Its a grocery store. What do you expect. Its clean. Prices are ok but not great. Time dependent to find the sale you need
Nice people great service clean store.
Clean. Pleasant shopping. Good selection of produce.
Love Kroger in there all the time. Convenient for getting prescriptions, seafood, bakery, deli, and groceries
Cannot find everything that I can find otherwise in the Neighborhood Walmart strangely since they have plenty of space but a very good store nonetheless!
Well stocked. Easy to get in and out of. Parking lot is easy to traverse.
Always good service, helpful, kind staff. Good sales, fresh produce
Was in and out quickly. Well stocked and friendly staff.
Good quality food and produce. Staff courteous friendly
Always clean and the staff is very helpful when questions are asked.
Good prices. Friendly helpful employees
Pharmacy people were very nice and helpful. We use clicklist for shopping and love it.
