Bought tires a year or so ago and trying to find out if the warranty is still good. I can not get anyone to answer the phone. I would like to know BEFORE I purchase new tires from another business.
1/2 of a star is all is worth me saying. I sat for 2hrs left to pick up my grandson from school, came back and waited 3hrs until they closed and still didnt get the 1 tire I came for. Theyre supposed to have a system that youre in line for but they will sneak others in when the manager is not around. Very unhappy customer, wont be even shopping at this Walmart again for anything. Its the one on 64 in Bartlett.
The service was great, Tina and the other young ladies that was there was very helpful in my return and exchange.
Waited 30 minutes in line to find out the balance machine was broken, so could not mount new tire. She refused to call another Walmart to see if they had the size in stock and was able to mount my tire.
Took my girlfriends car in to 2 tires replaced they replaced the tires on the wrong side of the car. Then in the process striped 10 lug nuts and the studs. Then after going back and forth with management they finally told me I had to go get three estimates for them to reimburse me for the repair. Then when I finally went to have the work done they fired the only person that made the experience any kind of tolerable and told me they wouldnt pay for it. Horrible unprofessional service I wouldnt let them change the tire on a tricycle. Literally the absolute worst I have ever experienced in auto care. If you care about your car at all DO NOT LET THEM TOUCH IT. If I could I would leave zero stars.
Visited the Auto center recently and was able to get in and out thanks to Zion and Josh. Kudos guys

For St of all when I arrived at 8:30 am it was no technicians to work on the cars. Then around 9:45 here they come. All I want was my tires rotated and Im still here after 12 noon. This place is sorry as hell.
Wow. Showed up to get a tire patched at about 1pm and didn’t get out of here until almost 7pm. Trust me, if you aren’t a certain skin color, you aren’t getting service. Every single person who showed up after me who wasn’t white got helped immediately. By 6:45pm it was just me and another white couple who waited a few hours too. Just pay the extra money at some other place down the street.
Got a nail in a tire on the drive up from Little Rock and ended up waiting 3 and a half hours for it to be fix and to get back on the road. No chairs for waiting and several workers walking around on their phones.
Staff here at the auto center are polite and courteous. The quality of the Douglas brand tires that Walmart sells are just hard to beat for the price. Best inexpensive choice of tires for a daily commuter or beater car.
Clarence is a great technician. The wait was long but Im glad he was the one who looked at my tires. He showed me a problem with a different tire (not the one I came in for), and I could see he was right, the exterior wall was paper thin. I have 2 kids so this was appreciated, he may have prevented a major blow out.

When you purchase tires at Walmart you had better check the manufacturer dates. I never thought to and on September 21 2016, I bought some Cooper tires. I didnt know it, but they had a 2013 date on them. In other words, they were 3 and a half years old when I bought them. As of February 6, 2019, they have 31000 miles on them. They have plenty of tread left, but they are dry rotting and when the temperature drops, air seeps out of all 4 tires. I faithfully rotate my tires every 6000 miles. Management told me it wasnt their problem. Ive always bought my tires from Walmart, but no more. Just another example of the high cost of low prices.
Note to self: do not trust the Tire Center Manager named James. I called an hour before heading to this location for prices on mounting and balancing. I asked for the mounting price, which he said was $9. Then I asked for the mounting and balancing price, which he said was $10. Grand total of $19. Which is legitimately the best price in town for mount and balance. But both of these prices are wrong based on the Walmart website, which prices mounting a carry-in at $10, and balancing at $9. Which still totals $19. Not a bad deal. Except you can get the basic tire installation package for $12.00, which covers mount, balance, valve stems, and rotation every 7,500 miles. Now as a manager, wouldnt you want to offer your customers the best package for them? Not James. Nor does he actually know the prices of his services. When I asked for an explanation he proceeded to tell me I never asked about balancing (even though he gave me 2 prices on the phone) and didnt even bother to ask if the basic tire installation was something I would be interested in. I apologized to his crew, but had them take the tires off and will never spend any money at this Walmart Tire shop as long as James is the manager. Worst customer service Ive received from any car service store ever.
I had a one hour wait before they could get to me. I needed a new battery. When the tech finally brought my truck into a bay to work on it he would not stay on my truck. He would spend a few minutes on my truck, walk away to help someone else. This happened multiple times. After he had my truck in a repair bay it took an hour and 15 minutes to change the battery. The price was reasonable but the wait was horrible.
The service center has improved drastically. New staff and people like Lillie, John, and manager Jay are very good. They work hard and try to get you out quickly as possible. Great Job!
Great place to get a car battery. It did cost more than I anticipated. They were out of the cheaper batteries.
Waited over four hours for three new tires with only one person in front of me. I would never recommend this Walmart to anyone for car work. Definitely need new mechanical workers too. I also went for a oil change a week later and it took forever too and they didnt even know how to reset my timer thing for my oil so Ill know when to change it again. I have never had to make a review about a place in my life.
Service very slow tire tech walking and talking in parking lot with vehicle on rack trying to wait on shift to end.last 10 min. Of shift put 2 tires on mount and balance then left end of shift .I waited 1hr 15 before they pulled my truck in. car was on rack when I got there
Terrible service at the desk, stood in line for five minutes only to have the desk girl wait on people who clearly arrived after me. Nothing is more irritating than waiting your turn and ending up waiting for the people behind you in line. Just plain rotten service all around.
Not a huge fan... okay if you arent near another budget tire shop or stranded. Otherwise id go somewhere else definitely not recommended.. Wont really cost any more but it probably wont take nearly as long.Also check your lugs and psi after the fact too. Ive had loose lugs a couple times over the past 4-5 years. Might not happen often but always check. I typically just carry my rims in and put them on the vehicle myself.Also make sure you get new valve stems put in when new tires are put on or else chances are your old ones wont work after they’re done with the wheels. You can bet they wont recommend it to you because they want you to come back and pay more.
Had to swap an auto battery, under warranty. The nice ladies in the tire center made the process effortless.
That place is horrible! There are tires occupying space in the bays, that space could be used for more technicians.There are two old men working men by themselves( bless their hearts) and they are great! It’s a female black with gold hair working the automotive desk with terrible customer service and people skills but can’t blame her, it’s management fault. I’m surprised that a Walmart service is that bad.....

Twice in a row they have put the wrong oil in my car. Total incompetence, and most employees dont care. They didnt do many of the free fluid checks... I am completely disappointed!

Took almost two hours and only had one employee on a weekend morning a busy day for businesses I know but they were servely understaffed. They didnt even warn us of this before we purchased the tires. We got a refund and left after a two hour wait.
It seems like the only people this walmart hires are people who do not want to do their job. Two females standing behind the desk would not take my order to patch a tire as there were a couple of cars ahead of me and they closed in THREE hours. Really just seemed like all she wanted to do was to sit behind the counter and talk to her friend and not do her job. Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever had. I will never go here again on account of this visit. Youre probably better going to somewhere like gateway or some other car maintenance place as you will either get denied service or wait hours here. Absolutely ridiculous.
They can get the work done...but you must supervise closely. Never itemize your total until you pay. Paperwork is usually incomplete and/or wrong. I have learned to tag anything I have done there. Tag your tires to make sure they rotate them, tag the tire if you need it replaced. Tag the battery, you get the idea.
Those Douglas tires are no damn good, dont buy them. You could get a used tire like new with better quality and much cheaper.
They “stop taking tickets” at 5:30, no matter what. Don’t spend your money here. Corporate doesn’t care, the employees don’t care, and you would be better off spending your time and money elsewhere.
Slow, slow, slow. And even slower than that. The associates were very friendly, but took way too long. I took my car in for an oil change at 9:00 and had one car in front of me. So how long do you think it took to finish? My receipt time stamp is 11:17. Two hours and 17 minutes?!?! Hmmm.

Worst tire experience ever! They have 4 technicians, 1 is changing tires, 3 are walking around doing nothing. It took the one technician working a solid hour to change 1 tire. I got here at 11:30 and Im still here at 2:20. Ill never come here for tires again!

Its always a pain when I have to come here! Customer service is never part of their vocabulary. This time, its Sunday, 3:30, they close at 6 and they said they cannot get the car because theyre all booked out for the day. Bottom line: NEVER buy a tire protection with them.

It was not great. I paid for a warranty that did not cover my tires. This was very disappointed to hear. Why pay for a warranty?
