I never went to dealership to buy a car on my own, back in the day my uncle was a car salesman so we always bought cars from him. What I can say about Mid State Hyundai the buying process was so seamless. I liked the fact that there was no pressure sale or trying to make me buy things I didn’t need. When I decided this fall that I was going to look to trade in my Tucson the first place I went was Midstate. They were able to find me exactly the car I wanted with all the bells and whistles. We bought our newest car from Midstate Hyundai and just had a service recall done and it went very well and they did it within the time they had told us. I would recommend them if you are looking for a new car.I did do a survey with them and I put them at acceptable which is not what I meant my answers to add up to, I feel it was unfair of the survey to consider acceptable as a negative opinion as my answers were not intended to be and I felt they did a great job. (I just dont like checking excellent when it was just a normal visit with no problems and a happy customer.)

Great experience with Charay and the dealership. Contacted them online and did most of the application before I even went to dealership. I was shocked when I was told they had a deal for me. Charay was amazing through the whole process by making sure we got what we wanted and made sure our needs were taken care of. I go in to buy a winter car with cash in hand (full purchase amount) but tell the used car salesman that I could be convinced to buy a more expensive vehicle if I liked the way it drove, and was informed that I couldn’t test drive any cars until I submitted a credit app despite having done so two weeks ago and being approved for a car 2x much. “We don’t want you just driving around until we know you are serious”. Apparently a used car salesman’s time in Berlin VT is infinitely more valuable than the customer who intended to buy a car that day.

It has been around four months and i have not received it or any news on when I will get it. I was not happy with the sales dept when I bought my car. He was very uninformed about the vehicle and the process. He did not seem to me to be able to ask questions when he did not know something and ultimately gave the wrong information. I just went back for service and I am so happy with the service dept. I felt very good about being there and they did an excellent job. Very friendly, wore mask, wiped my car down when finished . Called me when finished and it was very good service. Ed was very helpful and gave me all the information I needed before I came in. They had much better prices than anywhere in Burlington and gave us a good trade in value. Its a small local place so their fees were lower than other places around as well. We left with the car we came for with no pushiness and no attempts to get us to buy something more expensive. Overall a great car buying experience.

The Android Auto program stopped working message #8 came up on my phone indicating that the car needed a computer update that dealt with getting past a security block. While my car was in the shop the Service Writer told me my car was due for an oil change and a cabin filter. They did that work and all the updates. Still the Android Auto didnt work Bob who was the Service Writer called the local Verizon dealer who suggested I come in with my phone which I did.The issue was with my phone and and Darcy at Verizon did all the necessary updates on my phone and then everything worked fine.

After the initial 1 star review below, they have since contacted me, and gone above and beyond to try to satisfy my issues. It was too bad about the rough start, but they have tried hard to make things right and there is a lot to be said about that. Thank you.I have made repeated calls to both Service and Sales for issues regarding my new used car. I have been told we can take care of that or Ill get back to you. No results. Only had the car 2 weeks and so want to make this issues go away. If I get a phone call or some mail because of this post then I will be happier and will consider changing my review. I feel like a one night stand. Sell the car then forget them. If they had told me some of this prior to purchase I would NOT have bought the car. So simple to fix for them but they are just giving lip service and then only if I call them.(Single key, no owners manual and a promised gift card)

My experience at Midstate Hyundai was above and beyond. Kristina went out of her way to get everything done for me over the phone so when I got to the dealership all I had to do was drive the car and sign paperwork. Midstate Hyundai knows how to treat customers – WOW! They offer superb customer service every single time; in particular Bob in the service department.My car broke down two nights ago, after 5pm, and I called Midstate to see about getting the car in for service. Bob was wonderful, he expressed concern about my being stranded and wanted to be sure I had a ride home. I was able to get the car to Midstate that same evening (a small miracle), and they fixed it the next morning! Bob called me before 9:00am the next morning to give me the diagnosis, and the repair was complete by noon. And it was a big repair – alternator and battery and alt/water pump belt.I highly recommend Midstate. They are courteous, friendly, respectful, and kind.

We stopped in last week to look at Santa Fe’s . We worked with Charay. We were going to finance through our Credit Union but in order to get the incentives we were told we would have to finance through Hyundai. We agreed to let them work on financing. They made a verbal Agreement last Saturday and today we called and were told the deal is off!!!! Never in my life have I had a dealership that kept us in the dark! Wouldn’t you have thought they would have called????? When I reached out to Charay yesterday, she led me to believe they were still looking for the color combination I was had asked for! I purchased a 2017 Hyundai Sante Fe in March. This was my 3rd Hyundai purchased from this dealer. I stopped by on a Saturday to test drive and 3 hours later, I drove away in a new vehicle.I noticed when I arrived home that the passenger side interior windshield post trim had some strange circular stains on it. I took it back to the dealer and Jessica took a look at it and snapped some pictures of it with her phone. I was told a new part would be ordered and I would be called when it arrived in probably 2 weeks.Well, its been 6 months, I have received no phone call, and I have the same stained trim piece in my vehicle. I have found in my experiences that the sales team does a great job getting you into a car and out the door, but the customer service after the sale is virtually non existent, at least for me.Im very disappointed and will be going somewhere else the next time Im car shopping.

This dealership is by far the best one I have been too. My experience first began with an inquiry on a vechile online. The sales rep was very enthusiastic and made sure she listened to what I was looking for instead of most dealerships that just try push anything and not care what you want. As I was walking to the door I was greeted with a smile. We stepped inside and everyone was so happy laughing and talking with their customers. I watched numerous people finishing their dealso and very one one looked so happy. I know we have all experienced the car buying blues (walking in knowing what you want leaving paying way to much that you looked drained). Not here!!!! You walk in and the customer service is fantastic, I was being to wonder if customer service was dead but no it is alive at this Barre, VT dealership. I left with the car I wanted with more features then I could imagine for an amazing price. All that is not what will have me coming back here, the staff is what made this a truly great experience. I will never buy another vechile anywhere else.

Very impressed with staff follow through... I had been in a couple of months ago & looked at the Tuscan & Sante Fe ; however I thought I had my heart set on a Honda HRV. The Tuscan & Santa Fe were a little higher then I intended to spend but after 802Honda serviced my Civic & caused more damage to my car then it went in for ending with it to have a rebuilt top part of my engine then wouldnt give me what I wanted or closer to what I wanted.. I opened my head on exploring other options...On 9-28-16 I received a call from Anita Amell asking if I had yet found anything as she remember that back in July I looked at that Tuscan and Santa Fes & that they happened to have one 2016 Santa Fe left & that it was discounted plus there were rebates I could qualify for to knock the price down & too top it all off it was in the pearl white like I wanted...I asked her to forward me the info as I was very interested. The next day they allowed me to take the SUV home for the night to get a feel for it & make sure it was something I would be happy taking home...Hands down Anita Amell & her Teammates at Midstate went above & beyond to follow through & check up on me months after I stopped by to make sure I got in the right vehicle for me & in the price range I could afford!!!! Way to go Anita Amell on follow through....you dont get that at too many places & they were far more bending on prices Vs. 802Honda. As of 9-30-16 I officially became the owner of a 2016 Santa s Sport which fits all my family needs & gives us plenty room for my kids crazy & active sport lifestyles!
