I was a little apprehensive of taking my Car to the dealership, expecting a higher labor rate. When you get what youre paying for in expertise, the higher rate is less because the job gets done faster and better. Scott, the Service Manager was very professional and it seems so far that we got excellent service and proficient work done on our car. Hats off to Van Cycle in Bangor!!!

Always very professional and courteous. They are always very attentive to our needs.As we travel 3 hours and have to get up very early for 9:00 appointment, it is disheartening when the car sits on the lot for an hour and a half before it is brought in for service.. If you want honest sincere feedback there it is. They are always very gracious with a shuttle service and the drivers go out of their way to make you comfortable.Work was done to perfection.

Everyone was very friendly. We had help within 5 minutes. Knowing the car was for me, he addressed me with all the questions of what I was looking for. Drew made us feel like we had known him for years, easy to talk to and made us feel at home. Drew set my phone up to my car and showed me how to use all the buttons and knobs. They helped us get the payment as close to our budget as they could. We would definitely do business with them again.

After a car accident that totaled my leased vehicle from Van Syckle Kia, I was at a loss as to what to do. Everyone, from finance and the holder of the leasing agreement was helpful with no time wasted getting me into another vehicle. This included the salesman I had worked with before(Michael Wright) picking out the right vehicle for me to purchase this time, delivering it to my shop in Southwest Harbor and being absolutely accommodating throughout the whole procedure. I knew I would go back to Kia and will go again if needed.

I wanted to buy a car here but ended up taking a lunch and finding somewhere else to buy a car. Everyone was friendly, but thats about all they had going for them. My sales rep was pushy and tried to force a sale when I had only really been allowed to look at one car. I insisted that I didnt want a brand new car and it was still pretty heavily pushed. I was only allowed to look at one other used car and my concerns about it shaking on the highway were dismissed. And as soon as I went inside I was asked about all my information to try and start financing the car before I even knew if the first car I tested was the one I wanted We even called as a courtesy to say we wouldnt be returning and they tried to insist we came back, even after telling them we had already signed for another. I do not recommend them unless you know what you want exactly and not to go attempt to browse unless its a Sunday.

I was was very impressed with Van Syckle dealership. As I entered every employee was very respectful, helpful and welcoming. My salesperson, Jeffrey Ridley, was amazing. I never felt pressured or rushed. He explained the Lease process clearly and answered all my questions, listening to what I was looking for. We found the perfect car for me! He took care of the paperwork explaining as we went through it. The finance officer was as great as Jeff was. After 3 hours I drove off with my new BRIGHT RED Kia Soul!! I would definitely recommend them if you want prompt, courteous and efficient service.

It was a good experience. It was a recall inspection issue so there was no charge. It took less than an hour and everything seemed fine. They also pointed out some other problems my car had, but didnt seem to be upselling to me. Nice experience.

I waited two hours and fifteen minutes to have the oil changed and a look over of the vehicle, to be told that I needed four new tires for $900 and $99.95 for front end alignment. I bought the Kia Sorrento in February. Don’t you think you should have put new tires on after it was turned in? It was a 3 year lease, after all. Not impressed. This isn’t the first time I’ve had an issue. I hadn’t had the Kia even 30 days when the battery went dead and they thought I should “split the cost” of it. They did come through and put a new battery in after I made it clear I was not paying a dime. I’ll be buying the tires elsewhere, but the point is….having only had this vehicle six months….I shouldn’t have to!!! You need to step it up Kia. Your reputation is going downhill.

The Kia dealer on Hogan Road in Bangor Maine Is excellent I took my car in there for a recall they fixed it washed my car inside and out very happy with them in fact I bought my car there that was a good choice . They did not charge me for anything. Cammi took very good care of me. Great place.

Vultures! That is the best way to describe this dealership. The will not listen to anything you have to say and will continue to try and force you into something you do not want, its exhausting. Really should be a one star rating. The whole experience (yes, I purchased a new car from them) was so bad I dont think Id even consider a Kia again. Visit them then drive South to a different Kia dealership, youll quickly see for yourself.

The best experience purchasing a new car bar none! Joshua P. was professional and courteous from our greeting to the end as I drove away in my new Kia Soul. Both the sales manager Andy, and the finance manager Lance, really went to bat to make sure that I was able to be financed and get the payment I wanted. I recently arrived at Van Syckle Kia, in Bangor, for the 1st time (a distance of over 3 hours from where I live) - not knowing what to expect. (The dealership is the closet in location.) Immediately on arrival, I was impressed with the aesthetic orderliness of the Van Syckle dealership. Yet, I soon discovered that the beauty and orderliness, extended far beyond its appearance. The folks there were very professional and courteous in every way. Consequently, the 60,000 mile inspection went smooth; and while waiting that short time, the dealership even has a very comfortable lounge area, equipped with a coffee station, work stations, huge flat-screen, and recharging outlets for electronic equipment. Wow. Along with all of this, I was also particularly impressed and thankful that I could bring along my Pup as well!In summary, the folks at Van Syckle dealership are excellent representatives for Kia, itself.Thank You Team Van Syckle!

My engine needed to be replaced due to a defect. It took 9 weeks to get my car repaired. In that time my front breaks froze up from sitting in their parking lot for the whole time. When I dropped it off I was told by them that my brakes had half life left. Mind you I drive 6 miles round-trip to work and back. I had brakes and rotors changed about a year and a half ago. So do the math, I had about a year and a half worth of life left on those brakes when I dropped it off. They called me when my car was just about ready, and said that I would need new front breaks and rotors and that it would cost me $400 dollars. Even though this was due to no fault of mine. It wasn’t my fault that the car sat there for almost a week and a half before anybody even looked at it. I was told if there was only a couple of people that do that kind of work that they were busy with other jobs right now. So I’m not sure when the parts all got in. But I know two weeks before it was completed I was called and told that I had to pay for spark plugs to go in this new engine, and that it would be another two weeks before it was completed, again because there was only two people that do this kind of work. so out of the 8 1/2 almost 9 weeks, it sat there 3 1/2 to 4 weeks waiting for somebody to actually tear Engine engine down to see what was actually wrong and then put it back together. They ‘were nice enough to take off $120 dollars’ for the cost of the brakes. Please don’t tell me it was because of COVID. Cammie was Lovely and try to help me as best she could. She let the service manager know that I was very unhappy. The parts manager said that she would talk to Kia and talk to the district manager to see what we could be done. I told them that my 17 year old had just gotten his driver’s license and was getting the car. I love my Kia and was planning to buy a Sorento or Sportage. I will not be buying one from Van Sickle in Bangor Maine. They missed out on a SUV sale over $400 dollars.

My Daughter in law bought a 2015 Kia Sorrento from this dealership 2 days ago. In her drive home, the check engine light came on. Yesterday morning, she hadn’t had the car 24 hours. She drove it back to this dealership and was told that it was a Fuel injector and would cost her 500$! I’m certain this is not legal. I will call the better business bureau today, along with Attorney Generals office! Bad business! Very bad!

They are very curtious. They want to make sure you are comfortable while you wait, if you have some shopping to do they will use a shuttle van to drop you and pick you up. Its nice that they wash the outside of your car before you get it back! Takes time to do the oil n check everything and wash it but if you go later on they usually are much quicker because itll be close to quitting time. I appreciate the service, especially if it oil change. If its something that they cant fix right then it definitely takes a long time to get it fixed and get it back! Try to avoid them kind of issues and things are great!!!
