The review would be 5 stars as the staff is great and very helpful. I have to deduct stars because After only 3 months in I got a notice of rent increase. On the 4th month my rent went up $11 a month. This is really bad and in a way false advertising since I went off of the price I got online when I reserved. If it continues this way will have to move somewhere else.

DO NOT use this storage facility because of mice infestation! When returning to my unit after a year, I found clear evidence of a mice (and possibly a rat) infestation. There were heaps of mouse droppings on my belongings. Some of which I ultimately discarded. Apparently they have had this problem for a long time but never addressed it. I will never use this company again, and I recommend you don’t either.

Rodent Problem- No food in unit, Communications sent to New Property Management Teneal -Response given 3 months ago We are a storage property we have mice. Not the response I was looking for with paying over $3300.00 + in storage expenses a year. I was advised to purchase Mothballs -Done same day. I was informed that Wednesdays are the cleaning day. I requested special attention to my unit being on the ground floor ..(perhaps the cleaning guy could base around my unit withliquid, gel something ..)2. Safety- Communication sent to Property Manager regarding the doors not shutting properly to the storage unit they have to be pulled tight to be secure by each person who enters and exit. Per The New Property Manager you have to just close the door behind you. What about entering the unit after dark, or stragglers that checks doors to see if there open or not? Think about it if it was you.3. Wait there is more.+++Increase in the new Storage unit-upsizenot in the unit a year yet $20 more $266.00 to $286.00 for rent added effective Oct 2020.Call placed in September, Voicemail left Oct 1, 2020, Visit to the office this past weekend. Per Property management, DM will advise her of what to do on Monday before 1st increase in rental charge due.4. Ms.Kit and Louis you have been so consistent, professional and are two of the main reasons I stayed and referred others to you.My thoughtsAnd please dont take this the wrong way.. Simply Storage I just want the best experience you are able to provide...simply if it was your love ones and their things were here!

I was interested in getting a storage unit for my van unfortunately they didn’t have any drive thru units but the two ladies were very helpful!

I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking to store their stuff. Upon arriving I was greeted my a very friendly staff member named Neena. She answered all the questions and concerns I had and was able to get me in the perfect unit for my needs. I was also able to buy tape which was very convenient since a few of my boxes tore open. The storage area hallways were very clean and I could tell it is regularly kept up with. Oh yes and the unloading area I really appreciate how easy it was to unload my stuff right in front of the entrance area and transport it to my unit (with the cart they are so generous to offer for customers to use).

If I could give a less than 1 star I would. I registered for this storage space originally with my debit card for it to be paid automatically monthly. Unfortunately it had to change do to fraud and I received a new card. I have had to give my card information each month because the computer system will not hold it so I get collection calls monthly because of incompetence.

High priced but convenient and very easy to get to.Just got this storage unit September 15,2017.So why did they go up from 123.00 to 131.00 its just March 2018 it hasnt even been a year and they went up,Went in on Sunday May 20,2018 to get sheets and summer clothes,mice ate through our boxs started eating sheets and towels mice droppings all in everything.Now everything was washed and dried boxed up even brand new pieces were eaten,Going to management because this is unacceptable.Justupset and displeased. This location Park Heights and Hayward is mice infested yes I have repeatedly tried calling management,no no-one replied to my calls

I just met with Kit this morning to look at a storage unit . Kit was very pleasant and answered all of my questions. I am going back with my husband tomorrow so He can see the unit.He has a better sense of space needed then we should be able to finalize rental.I am thankful that there was no pressure to sign agreement now.I will definitely refer Simply Self Storage to others as it was refered to me.

Just purchased a 5’10” unit 2 weeks ago, the first time I dropped stuff off there was a dead mouse on the floor had to be dead for a while since it was flat, the person that works there seen it so I assumed somebody would get it up also were a tons of mouse droppings in the unit along with broken hangers. Went back a week later and the same mouse is still there, I will moving my things to another place after the month is over.

Haye that i cant pay at the establishment, i have to pay if i call in for payment and i havent been there for a year and the rental amount is already going up in feb. I will be looking for a climate contorlled with 24 hour access with a gate and a passcode i should be able to access my unit when ever i want to. Also i didnt like after 10 having somome at the door confront me about coming in. The main gate should close and if u dont have a unit then you shouldnt be allowed in. It felt very sketchy and i felt threatened and no one really seemed to care. Just advised i walk to the other door to leave next time.. what.. how about provide the security i pay so much for by at least having the main gate close at 8 or something.

Neighborhood is a lil sketchy but my cousin has a unit here, and the staff is so friendly and knowledgeable that we tell everyone to go here first! I even prefer renting here when I need a unit despite living out of town. Good prices and great service, you cant beat that!! Ask for Neena, she is fantastic but everyone there is top notch!

Long time customer always great service!

I helped my mom move out of her storage unit. The lady who ran the facility that day offered as much help as she could; The problem was that she had no help. Trying to assist us and 4 other groups made the process a bit longer than it had to be. It literally became a waiting game. Who could use what item before someone came to snatch it up. Limited amount of moving supplies because customers stole them in the past. The company refused to restock them. Overall the job was completed, but it definitely made for a longer day.
