Been coming here for 10 years, staff is always knowledgeable, and friendly. I can always find what I need and be out of here in like 5-10 minutes! Love this place!

The staff is nice. Its quick and easy to get in and out. You dont have to walk thru a huge warehouse.

Went to buy a battery mower, was the last one they had in stock and did not have the right batteries available in the store. Manager said they would try and transfer them in from another store. I offered to buy it then and wait for the batteries. Manager assured me he would just move it in the back and wait for the batteries and would call me when they arrived. Heard nothing for a few days, so I called back myself and sure enough they sold the last unit and its now on backorder... and they couldnt care less. Big box store masquerading as a hometown hardware store.

Usually can find what you need but not any ice melt. Sold out everywhere. Still a good place to shop. Prices are good.

I wouldnt recommend this store or company. They are lacking in customer services and are disorganized. I wanted to make a purchase online for in-store pickup. Their website was down. I tried calling but was on hold for 30 minutes. I asked for curbside pick-up because of covid-19. Later I picked the item up and pay for it with my card. When I got home I noticed they charged me 2x for my purchase and They never apply the discount for my purchase.

Did not have exactly what we needed. But we found an alternative. The gentleman helping us was nice and very knowledgable.

Found just the perfect colors to paint the interior of my house.

ACE is the place! If you cant find it here, they can probably order it, or it doesnt exist. 🙂

Over all I am happy with my experience there today. I needed to paint another wall so I went there to see what they had to offer. Its not a huge selection but they have Benjamin more paints and that was exactly what I was looking for. 👍I found out they dont color match which was weird; most other big box stores color match.😬 I wasnt sad for too long because the woman in the paint dept was super pleasant and helpful. I didnt get all the colors I wanted because they were out of the neutral base needed to make the other two colors on my list.. 😞 Ill definitely return though. They were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Bonus- on Saturdays you can get a free paint sample buy signing up for their frequent shoppers program. 🤩

4 employees huddled up complaining about the labor it takes to move bags of salt to the front of the store vs what the store makes of said bag. They couldnt be bothered with helping customers. Go to checkout ask the kid if he has any coupons before I check out he says no then rings me up and then gives me a $5 off coupon with my receipt. So I instantly returned for a refund. The Ace in Bel Air offers coupons before you purchase and the staff is always eager to help. Ill stick to that location from now on. Plus this location does not even carry Johnathan Greene products.

It was a delight to shop there. As an ACE mbr, I was not disappointed. The shelves were stocked, staff was pleasant and knowledgeable. The aisles were clear and clearly labeled, just as the grocery stores. Also, handicapped accessible and parking.I even saw a pre holed aluminium trash can whisk past me, byva customer...lol. I looked but didnt see any, will ask on next visit if that was custom made.

Needs more marketing for this locationHome depot and lowes stores gets more reach and they are close to this location as well. I have been going here for a while now, and surprisingly 😅 it has been great experinece so far. They have so many stuff from lawn care to paint and other home improvement products. As a local resident, I would like this location to attract more customers 😀

Not enough items that were on sale did get my bird food

This location was super helpful. They had what we wanted, but not enough. They suggested ordering a larger size - which ultimately saved money. They did this even though they could only order 2 of the item, so theyd have to sell an extra if we didnt take it! The layout is easy to follow and every employee was friendly.

Try to find someone for help me find something took about 10 minutes the store is over packed were its hard to move around or find what you are looking for.

Nice store stop from time to time. The staff is super friendly. Limited selection but good prices on grass seed and bird seeds. Wish I received a weekly flyer in the mail more often.

Love this hardware store. Tons of great solutions when I have a repair project. Everyone that works there is friendly. Zig was patient and very helpful while helping me find options for an electrical repair. Always go there first. Their prices are not much different the big box hardware places, but their service it WAY better.

Friendly staff who quickly helped me locate the items I wanted. Prices were typical for this type of store, not as low as in the big box stores, but with more staff to assist the customers. I though this was a good trade off. Many specialty items were available with out the need to special order and wait. I have been to this store in the past and will return again.

I love this store. They have a lot more than just hardware. The staff are very helpful and know what theyre talking about.They have a good selection of backyard bird supplies.The location is easy to get to. There is an excellent Italian restaurat right next door in case you work up an appetite while youre shopping!

While the selection here certainly wont rival home Depot or Lowes, the customer service is exceptional. I love going here because people actually ask me if I need help. I cant find help even when I need it at the bigger stores.

From the moment that I walked through the door, I was greeted. The cashier asked want I needed, and immediately called for assistance. The associate was knowledgeable about the types of paints, mixed the paint, and went through each aisle for what I needed. The manager offered his help, and another young man put all of my items in my car. Excellent service, with a smile!

Nice local hardware store that has pretty much anything you would need plus the one thing the big box stores forget. SERVICE! not sure what you need go to ACE! They have paint and everything else you might need and a few things you didnt realize you do need.

I’ve made probably 7 trips to Rommel Ace Hardware in Perry Hall in the last three years. I’ve yet to find anyone helpful. I always have to find something myself. Good grief. Hire qualified people will you?

Always treated well there. The staff is great.

Always prefer going here than Home Depot since I can easily get in and get out, without wandering aimlessly like Moses in the desert, looking for either the item I need, or someone to assist. They even let me in 1 minute before closing and helped me get what I needed technically after they closed. Always friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable staff there who honor coupons even if they expired or you dont quite meet the criteria.

I went just yesterday memorialDay they had no white paint forInside or outside very disappointed had to go to Lowes who had plenty thats the second time been there dont have what I need but no white paint thats crazy I would give it no stars but the guy who helped me was nice

I called on a Saturday to ask a simple question. Sure Saturday can be busy - I get it. The phone rang for 2 and a half minutes. Two and a half minutes. Nobody answered. I took my business elsewhere.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. They dont often have the large selection or good prices of large hardware stores. However they are faster and more convenient, not to mention friendlier, when you need something basic in a hurry.

Every time I go in the staff is friendly and helpful. The selection isnt as large as some of the larger retailers, but prices are competitive and the staff is very knowledgeable which makes them an ideal choice when I just need that one part to finish a project.
