I am a young landscaping company just starting. Lehmans sold me everything I needed to get started. Plus we agreed to have a working relationship for all maintenance that arise.

Pretty much a wonderful Hardware Store. I have looked at this place for over 30 years, but only from the outside. I Finally got the opportunity to go inside and see, that this store has a very well stocked inventory. I recommend we should support this mom and pop business, he has just about everything you would need, just like the big name hardware stores. Also he has reasonable prices.

I just called up to check on a part. The guy answering the phone was rude, started cursing, slam the phone down, and continued cursing that he didnt want to be working there any longer!!! I would not recommend this place to anyone!!!

They help you with good information if you ask... And prices good on repairs.

I left my edger here in March for repairs. It is now May and they cannot locate my item. I have called several times only to be told they it cannot be located and that they were short staffed and will look for it and call me. I have yet to receive a phone call. I have supplied the claim ticket and they are still not able to locate my item. I am told everyday that they will call me and they will find it but I have not heard from anyone! I went to the shop today and was told that the owner was busy and that the manager was not available. I have used this shop for repairs in the past with no issues, so I am very disappointed to say the least.

If you need it?... 95% chance theyll have it. Prices are descent concidering they are a mom & pop store. But the store is an crowed inside. I go there 1st before going to the big places.

I would NEVER come here again.I dropped my lawnmower off there on Oct 2, 2020 to be serviced. I knew they were busy so I was going to be patient. However after a month I called and it still was not ready and they asked for my patience. I then called in December to see if it was ready, they said no. Then I called again in March and still it was not ready. After 6 months I picked up on lawnmower on April 19th. They had not even touch it and it had been outside for so long the bolts were rusted over. I would never recommend them it was horrible service. I only when their because Craftsman, the brand of my lawnmower, recommend them.Also NONE of the staff members wore face masks when I dropped off my lawnmower nor when I picked it up. When I entered the store, they didnt wear masks when they talked to me and they did not even have masks around their necks to be able to put on. Dont come.

This p place has everything you need as a hardware store and the owner is about to sell it to some lucky person cuz hes had his run so check it out before he does

They had 100% of everything I needed, could not find the same product at the big box stores, great customer help and that will be my new hardware store to go to!!

Never use them I dropped off a lawn mower for repair and bought a brand new $400.00 lawn mower from this place the same day after I never received a call about my repair from them I went in and requested my lawn mower back they asked me for my ticket which I misplaced so I was unable to provide them with it so they told me I couldn’t have gave them anything or I would have a ticket or some sort of proof mind you this is the same guy who sold me the brand new lawn mower he acts as he don’t remember... just don’t use these guys I’ve met someone else who has had this same experience but with a leaf blower. 0 Stars

I just dropped in to pick up glass window pane and window glazing. Precise cut pain fit right in the place glaze went well. I can always get what I need there.

Very helpful and knowledgeable staff that is always eager to help. You cant get this kind of service anymore and they sell Kerosene too in bulk. I rented a tiller, it worked great. They make great window screens and cut glass too. All around great store for the community.

Ive used Lehmans over 4 years and have never had to actually even go in the store. As a person who rehabs houses this has been great. They have found and ordered obscure parts and notified me when they have come in. I cant even get the big box stores to locate the parts that Lehmans has been able to easily locate.

I took my mower to be repaired. They never called me to tell me that it was fixed. When I called they couldnt find it. I kept calling the owner got really nasty and told me that it was gone. I spent a lot of money on that mower. I will never shop or seek their services again. Havent stepped foot in that store in about a year. Poor poor customer service.

These people had my lawn mower(for repair) since March 3 months later they still telling me how the mechanic didnt show up for work. I had to go get it and take it somewhere else. $50 deposit down the drain.

Poor service. I try to go to local, mom & pop shops because I look for better customer service for which Im willing to sacrifice slightly higher prices. Unfortunately, this mom & pop shop does not live up to my expectations. I called last Saturday to ask about getting a window fixed. The person I spoke with said they could do it. I drove there and the lady told me the person who does these repairs was not there and wouldnt be in until Monday at 12. Given that I needed this window fixed, I went back on Monday. I spoke with the man who fixes windows. He very rudely told me that he could not tell me when he could fix my window because he was too busy. I walked out because there was no way I was going to give them my business. Needless to say, I will not go back here.

TOOK A SMALL TILLER TO GET IN APRIL 20I9 STOPED BY 5 TIMES TO CK ON PROGRESS THEY CANT FIND RECEIPT OR THE TILLER NOW ITS JANUARY 2020, I HAVE TAKEN OTHER EQUIPMENT AN HAD SERVICE DONE NO PR0BLEM I HOPE THEY FIND IT BY SPRING.

They have fixed everything I have brought in to them. Wedeaters, blowers, & even a log splitter. The staff has always been pleasant and helpful.

Only been here a few times, a conveniently located spot for the neighborhood. They seem to have a good bit of stuff for how much space they have. My guess is family run. I can see how people think the people working dont have good customer service though Ive never had a problem with them.Store needs a little work but you can tell this place has history. Im not much of a hardware store kind of guy but its an ok hardware store. Worth checking out for something.

If I could give them zero stars I would. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE. Asked for the blades to be sharpened, throttle cable to be replaced, and replace a front wheel. The throttle cable was “replaced” with a used cable when I asked for a new one. The blades were never sharpened (which I was still charged for). This place is fraudulent and I will NEVER do business with them again. They try to make up excuses and tell you things that if you know anything about lawnmowers (which these people don’t) what they say doesn’t add up. And forget about asking for a refund for the services they didn’t do but still charge you for. Honestly don’t know how this place is still in business. But if you have money falling out of your pocket and want to waste 115$ to replace a 30$ wheel this is your place to go and if you ask them to justify why it cost that much they have no idea.

Called to inquire about a lawn mower and the gentleman had the worse disposition. Me being the type of person I am remained nice and calm even though he didnt deserve it. I said thank you when I was done and he just hung up the phone. Smh......

First time there with my family to shop for a garden hose. While we were waiting for one of their employees to find a 50 foot hose in the back realized this shop had some of the little knick knacks we were having some trouble finding for some of the projects at our house. The owner and staff were very friendly, personable. We even joked with them about how we were curious what awful customer service looked like since we noticed some of the bad ratings. We had a great experience and will definitely go back for any other purchases. We even got some mini Butterfinger candy bars on our way out. Imagine that!!

More obscure selection than the big box stores and you dont have to walk miles back and forth between aisles. I have not had any problems with service in the past. I have shopped here about 15-20 times.

LEHMANS TOLD ME IT WAS BUYER BEWARE WHEN I CALLED THEM ON JUNE 4, 2018 ABOUT MY HEDGE TRIMMER NOT STARTING. LEHMANS SUPPOSEDLY FIXED MY TRIMMERS GAS LEAK ISSUE. I HAVE NEVER HAD A STARTING ISSUE WITH TRIMMER. LEHMANS SAID I SHOULD HAVE STARTED IT UP IN THE STORE BEFORE I LEFT THE STORE. I SAID THEY DID NOT TELL ME TO START UP THE TRIMMER. LEHMANS SAID THERE WAS A 30 DAY WARRANTY ON THE REPAIR THEY MADE. I SPECIFICALLY TOLD LEHMANS I WAS GETTING THE TRIMMER REPAIRED IN THE WINTER OFF SEASON SO IT WILL BE READY FOR MY LATE SPRING TRIMMING I WAS GOING TO DO IN JUNE. IF THEY ARE A CERTIFIED ECHO REPAIR FACILITY, THAN ECHO HAS A LOT TO WORRY ABOUT. I WAS TREATED VERY SHABBILY BY LEHMANS WHEN I CALLED THEM ABOUT THE TRIMMER NOT STARTING. THEY SAID TOUGH LUCK ON MY PART. LEHMANS SAID I COULD BRING IN TRIMMER FOR REPAIR BUT I WOULD HAVE TO PAY ALL OVER AGAIN, EVEN THOUGH THE TRIMMER WOULD NOT START THE FIRST TIME I TRIED TO USE IT IN JUNE 4, 2018. LEHMANS TREATED ME GREAT WHEN I FIRST TOOK MY TRIMMER IN AND WHEN I PAID FOR THE REPAIR. THEN LEHMANS ACTUALLY SAID TO ME BUYER BEWARE WHEN DEALING WITH THEM. WOW, WOW, WOW.

Attention to all customers,If you want to hear the total of F-word vocabulary from this establishment, this place is where to go for such a barrage of words against the customers.I bought a brand new lawnmower the yard machine.A week later the motor busted with the oil in it. I was referred by manufacture (MTD) to this repair place, Lehman Hardware, Inc., @ 5921 Belair Rd, Baltimore, MD 21206.The man in charge is Mr. Dave.I brought the lawn mower in on October 7, 2016. Mr. Dave said to leave it there, they will give a diagnostic on my mower. After one week I called In to Lehman Hardware Inc., to check on my mower. ( I didnt suspect any trickery). The motor was visually busted even without the diagnostic, I was too naive to see what Mr. Dave was planning.A week latter I called again. They claimed that they had no knowledge of my lawnmower, (as if never dropped it there). l was directed to call back.My suspicions were aroused, that something is not right. I called in the next day. They told me that I hit something with the mower. There for the carburetor was busted.I arrived to Lehman Hardware, and questioned the diagnostic. I asked for a manager. I was told that the manager would not arrive for another 20 minutes. So I waited.They pulled out the lawn mower after 20 mins. Passed, and the apologized for the wrong diagnostic. And they said the were going to call me back. Which they never did.I called MTD THE MANUFACTURER, explaining the whole aggravating story to them. Which amounted to nothing.In the meantime, thirty days passed, I was told by Mr. Dave to take my lawn mower, and get lost. Under a barrage of cuss words spewing from Mr. Daves toilet mouth. He pushed me out of the store.He managed to drag the whole story for more 30 days. Now Lehman Hardware think they are untitled to my $30 for nothing. No services rendered.

Worst store ever, I bought a recoil rope for my mower there and it was double the price, then the store right up the street. Went back to return it and they wouldnt take it back, they said they do not offer ANY RETURNS. The owner himself is the true ignorant one, no wonder the other employees are so rude.

If I could give “0” I would. Very poor customer service that elderly gentleman is very nasty. I will never go there again.

I called looking for a mower with a bag and the lady there couldnt look for one but eventually looked out the window andshe said there was one and she guessed at the price because couldnt leave the counter. no one there to help her . poor service

Absolutely terrible service. I came in for help finding the right screw to attach my TV mount and was brushed off by a very curt older woman employee. She, rather unpleasantly, told me to go find the correct metric and walked off. I asked for a little clarification and she barked that the screws and bolts were self service. It would have been clear to anyone that I didnt know what a metric was in the first place, let alone my way around a hardware store! She then rudely informed me that she had orders to fill and didnt have time to help me, although when I entered the store she was standing around chatting with another employee and customer. I wanted to patronize local business in my new neighborhood, big mistake. Never again, Ill stick with Home Depot, where they dont try to make you feel like a nuisance just for needing a little help.
