Love this place.always stock up on fabric, Laces, various creative products, when in area for my various craft and design needs. Come from NJ. Wish this was here in DC yearsago.Glad to see the creative appreciation is here finally,, instead of only politics and law.. People like myself had to move to NJ.NYC to learn, study, resources and tools were never around for our skills in the DC area period.!!! Owner is a gift. Great asset to this community. As a designer and small biz owner and black.I appreciate her concept, giveback to the areathanks!!
Great place for artists on a budget but, I went in with a friend and spent over $50, which is a lot of merchandise there. We live in the neighborhood and walked over so, we needed to return to pick up our stuff. When we walked in we were greeted the scary girls are back. My friend and I are Black and when we asked the store associate to elaborate she said it was because of my friends nails, which were beautiful and sculpted. Not sure well be back if that is how Black, local customers and artists will be talked to..
I happened to go on a day when you can fill a bag of yarn for $20! They have bins of buttons, pretty much everything. Cant wait to go again.
Nancy is Awesome always passionate, caring and talented. Inspiring others with her give back to the community, caring motherly heart of gold & helping others with this creative concept for people to share, learn and create, also buy allowing us to afford to buy supplies you need without going broke!! - such a peace of mind for unlimited growth in creating.Always thinking about the cost. This genius concept of giving back is a rare find especially when there is such socioeconomic, income, opportunity disparaging us and the communities. I come from Downtown jersey City a DC transplant and always try my best to visit Baltimore and pick-up supplies from here, also will donate.!! Please continue this business,God Bless You Forever. You have really helped me stay Inspired by using my hands and creative mind more. This is such a gem to our community,so please donate generously, support and share with others. Thanks Scrap N More
Scrap is the best!!! This is one of my favorite places to go. I love it! The items vary every time but the prices are always amazing. The employees are always super friendly and helpful. Its a great place for artists, crafters, and anyone who works with kids. Their fill a bag section is great for kids art stuff, stem supplies, and even wibbly buts for grown up. Be careful with parking! Nearby lots wont play about towing you. Youll need to parallel park, but spaces are usually available nearby when I go.
AMAZING PLACE!! My roommate and I come here whenever we can, and I could spend hours just looking around. Lovely staff, lovely organization, lovely store. The prices are also low (which is good for people who love art but cant afford Michaels too often) and everything there is unique and cool.
Great place for art and craft supplies! Everything is donated so if you need something specific, it might not be in stock but a wonderful place to find good deals and browse for inspiration. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
Awesome shop for random, but good-priced craft supplies. Our first time there, we were greeted and given hand sanitizer. We got a quick tour of the shop then set loose! My 9-year old and I could have spent longer there, but enjoyed our trip. Will definitely go back! Highly recommend.
Absolutely love the store and the women who work here are so great!
The best place to take a friend, a date, or anyone who loves crafts - a wide variety of yarns, fabrics, buttons, paints, stickers, and most anything else youd need for a crafting project. Everything has been donated, and theyve repurposed literal TONS of crafting supplies. The owner is so kind, and shes even suggested crafting supplies for me based on my expressed interests. Cannot recommend this store enough!
Its like a thrift store for craft supplies that also does positive work in the community. I love finding hidden gems in here!
Wonderful place to find second-hand crafting supplies! Its like a treasure hunt.
A great place to look for treasure and the owners enthusiasm is contagious.
Great. Just love this place
Best store around for craft projects on a budget
Love, love, love. Simply love. Nothing more to say.
It is a fun place to spend time looking for crafty treasures. I really like the collage packets.
This place is a treasure trove for hobbyists and crafters!! the prices are very reasonable and you can find so much cool stuff!! i love the fill-a-bag section, just stuff as much in the paper bag as you can for only 5 or 10$!! (btw if you get the 10$ bag, you can fit paper on the sides of the bag to extend it upwards so you can fit EVEN MORE stuff lol) The staff are all really friendly! Me and my friend were going through the scrap fabric bins and he mentioned really liking one of the swatches and one of the staff said theyd check in the back to see if there were bigger pieces! Visiting scrap is a wonderful experience and I would def recommend coming here before going to a chain craft store, odds are youll find something here and for a way better price!
Scrap B-more is an an amazing place. The amount of crafting material that is saved from the landfill and sold is wonderful, the prices are breathtaking. The staff is wonderfully helpful and creative as well
Smaller than what I expected but a really varied selection of materials for all kinds of crafts.
We l❤️be this place! Have gone there 4 times in the last 6 months. A great mush mash of crafting supplies at crazy cheap prices (fill a bag for $5). You never know what treasures you will find. And the staff is wonderfully nice and helpful.
So pleased with their goal of saving all these useful items from landfill.
Great prices for a wide array of recycled crafts.
Scrap B More is awesome. There are so many different arts and crafts items to pick from. Everything is organized into different sections and bins. And the service there is awesome. Nancy is a so friendly and helpful. She is great with kids. She gave my son some paper and markers to keep him occupied while I shopped. He even drew her a picture. All the items are donated so you never know what you will find. Please check them out. I will definitely be back. Thank you for coming to Pigtown.
Got everything i needed and the customer service was great, so personable!!
I love the store and the staff its like a treasure trove of sewing and crafting needs at a reasonable price
This is a real gem for any crafter, artist or diyer. There is plenty of bright open space. You wont feel cramped or crowded in this time of social distancing. Fill a bag is a favorite of mine. So much fabric!!! Just a great array of items at amazing prices. Remember :Masks required.
Grand place for locating misc items to use for crafting and help to recycle no longer needed items. Also get things at very good price. And meet some very friendly and helpful folks. I go there about 1 x per week often to just look around also if needing stuff for specific project. Highly recommend the place.
Love this place, wish I could visit more often
This place is the best!! I love the assortment of weird fabrics and random other materials. You will always find things you didnt know you needed here. Nancy and the other SCRAP folks are awesome!!
Great community resource for crafters looking for affordable supplies or to get rid of what you dont need!
This place is a spectacular resource! While Scrap may not have the precise item you need exactly when you want it, if youre patient and/or flexible/creative you may never need to go elsewhere for your arts and craft supplies. When I needed a yard of wool yarn of a specific color and texture to repair the edge of a Persian carpet, I found exactly what I needed at Scrap for 50 cents (as opposed $20 for a huge skein most of which I didnt need). When I was looking for fabric to reupholster a chairs seat, I found what I needed for $2.50 (instead of >$50). Im looking forward to September after they move to their new store whose Pigtown location will be more convenient (for me) and will offer easier parking.
The shop that just makes you happy! The SCRAP concept is fantastic: a recycle/upcycle store for art & crafting supplies. Great bargains for feeding your crafting needs, and a place to send your unwanted crafting supplies so they can be loved by someone else! Staff is pleasant funny, and helpful. Check the website for hours, donation times and info, and the up-to-date list of what they are accepting.
I LOVE Scrap B-more! I am an avid crafter and I always find what I am looking for (and more!) when I visit. No matter if its for paper crafting, sewing, or fine art, theres something for everything here. The owner is also awesome and very helpful. If you need craft supplies or inspiration, definitely come to Scrap B-more!!
Holy cow! Small, but loaded with those odds and ends you cant live without if you are a creator, crafter, or artist. The volunteers here run a very well organized shop with zest and pride for the goal (recycle). They take in donations constantly which keeps the operation fresh and exciting for the scavenger artist. Pricing? Literally, pennies on the dollar. You wont be disappointed!
I love, love, love the new location. I no longer need my husband to drive me to the old location in Federal Hill, I can drive to Pigtown on my own because it’s was so easy to find and park. It’s so roomy and comfy. Yea!!! 😻😻😻
A wonderful pile of craft! Great place to donate supplies knowing theyll go into good hands, and a great way to try out a new craft without committing tons of money to supplies. Most of the space is devoted to fiber arts (fabric, yarn, patterns, sewing notions) but they have seasonal crafts as well as paper, metal, wood and jewelry supplies. You never know what youre going to find!
Love it.Very friendly, a lot to choose from
Best place to find something you never knew you wanted to make.
Great place to find craft supplies for every type of craft from fabric and knitting to printmaking and scrapbooking. The staff and particularly the owner are friendly and helpful. Give this place a look.
A friend of mine first told me about Scrap. This place is absolutely amazing. It really is, basically, a thrift store for arts and crafts. That means you might not find exactly what you need, but youll find a ton of treasures you didnt know you were looking for, and for really, really cheap. Be prepared to feel like a kid in a candy store. Plus, the people there are personable and fun! And you can bond with the other shoppers over the prices and finds. I highly recommend this place!
I love the idea behind this charity store -- instead of craft supplies going to the trash, they re-sell them. You never know what youll find here, but they are sure to have some awesome and off-beat treasures. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and I came away with some primo supplies for a tiny fraction of what I would have paid retail. Im a huge fan!
The first time I walked into the old store, I knew I had found my tribe. The new store is fabulous!!! I love this little place so much I became a volunteer. While I am not the active craftsperson I used to be, I still am able to satisfy my crafting jones by just being there!
The new space is great! And actually spacious compared to the old place in federal hill. And very friendly staff!
I had a lovely time with wife and daughter. Looking around every shelf, box and wall is inspiring. Thank you for providing a place to reuse items that may have gone to the dump.
This place is Awesome! A treasure trove of recycled items for art making and creative endeavors at low, reasonable prices. This is good place to take the kids for an afternoon of creating without spending a lot of $$. They do combined events with other venues in Baltimore and are developing programming for adult event nights at their location. Nice, public location in Federal Hill with street parking that always seems available. Be prepared to have your creative juices flow when you walk in the door!
This place is amazing for getting lost hunting for treasures. It is nicely organized and there are many many items to look through. I filled a large backpack with silk yarns and fabrics and got two massive canvas frames for under $40!! This will always be my first stop for project supplies from now on.Supplies I saw there: yarns, fabrics, wrapping paper, buttons, needles of all sizes and for machines and by hand, crochet hooks, knitting needles, leather, holiday decor, fabric paint, acrylic and oil pints, pastels, wood burning tool, beads, jewelry making tools and supplies, vintage photos, scrapbooking, picture frames...The list grows and changes all the time as they get new donations and the like.
Hello from California! I came in with my daughter, Sarah who goes MICA. I was in heaven when I walked in and saw all the arts and crafts! I especially loved your yarn section. I love to crochet! I bought a big jar of small yarn balls and it made it safe on the flight back home! Sarah had a idea to post a pic on instagram with a fun game of guessing the # of yarn balls! We counted them all out and her friend and roommate who is studying abroad in Japan won! Sarah sent him $10 in prize money! I thought it was so clever and so nice of her! FUN times were had visiting her and your store made it even more fun! thank you! ~ Kirsten S.**I will try and send a photo soon :)
This place is awesome! It is a non-profit store with recycled art materials and supplies. Think of all the miscellaneous art stuff laying around the house. This is the place to drop your things off instead of to the landfill.
This place has everything you need for crafting. Used stuff. Good prices. Lots of stamps. The owner is so nice. Got some good deals
The place is very well organized and you can always find interesting stuff for any craft projects you might have.
I love this place - I love giving life to old supplies and giving my old supplies a place to find a new life.
The kids LOVED this place. Very cool stuff.
Lots of crafty treasures to buy and it was fun looking!
Amazing place! You never know what youll find, so its fun to go explore! Prices are phenomenal and the service is so friendly!!
Love this store! All items are donated and they have everything from fabrics to paints to scrapbooking materials to arts and crafts for incredibly great prices. Highly recommend a visit!

Amazing place to get good quality used items. The staff is amazing
Where have you been all my life? Great selection from fabric and fiber to fine arts and beads.
Awesome store especially if you craft!! They are moving to a new location this month.
Local non-profit that serves as waste stream reduction point; bring in supplies or buy for pennies on the dollar. Ive found a wild variety of items here - everything from glass panel samples to fabric to small tools to what have you? Staff are very friendly. Dont forget to feed the meter - parking authority in neighborhood is viscious and knows no mercy.
Very kind and enthusiastic employees. Best place to go if you want to avoid pricey art supplies.
Honest service. Helpful staff. Thank you
Great people and abundance of craft materials. Thanks for the help on my Preakness hats!!

All I have to say is Yes!!! I love this place, and for a person who loves arts and crafts coming here is like a kid to a candy store!

Love finding total random stuff here and the owner Nancy is super nice and creative!
Great source for fabrics, etc. They also take quality donations
Wonderful shop with a great upcycling concept. You never know what you might find there!
Very friendly ladies. And helpful
The items were less desirable than I envisioned. Maybe when more stuff is donated they will have a better quality of items.
Loved it, was my first visit and not my last.
Art thrift! I bought a lot of sewing materials for my sister-in-law and it was a great find. Would go back again.
