Coffee is decent but service was rude.I almost always have my mask but forgot it yesterday on a run, on my way out was reprimanded by the woman working at the counter. I apologized but she continued to reprimand me as I was leaving. It was obvious she was just trying to provoke and start an argument.I understand the difficult situation, but it still doesnt hurt to treat customers with respect... If they get so worked up over the mask policy maybe provide them for customers who forget. It just left a bad taste in my mouth and I will not be going back (I was a regular customer).
The Wifi is 👌, the food had thoughtful lil details (although I couldve used salt but thats just me), and the natural light their big open windows offer make your selfies look like you actually sleep the recommended 8 hours. Theres a sick mix of white collar professionals, hipsters, and activewearing folks that come in. P.S. Theres a cute lil green space in front of the establishment if you need a mini break and easy walk access to Sandlot if you need something stronger.
There menu was the perfect size with good selections and we loved our drinks. My friend got one of the holiday selections (I believe it was a ginger snap type drink) and I just got pour over. I also got the turkey club and it was very filling! The flavors reminded me of a hot pocket for some reason. My friend got apple toast I believe, and it had a yogurt spread on the toast with apples on top. She enjoyed it as well. There is ample parking, so it should be easy to park close by.
Best coffee in Baltimore! They have single origin coffees on pour over. It takes a few min but its totally worth it. The coffee is oily and creamy and had a depth that Ive only seen in super high end coffee roasters.
I absolutely love this place! Great location, wonderful staff, high quality beverages!
My favorite coffee roaster in Washington DC-Baltimore area. I brew their coffee every day.
Ceremony coffee roaster is definitely a top tier coffee shop! I live close by so it’s my go to coffee shop when I need a quick coffee or need to study my life away. It’s super clean and the staff are very friendly. Their Expresso Is super bold and flavorful but not bitter. I have bought coffee beans and some of their canned coffees and it never disappoints! I highly recommend this place!!
Consistently amazing on all drink orders and they are knowledgable on their retail coffee offerings and are always ready to make a recommendation. A staple in my routine.
Excellent! What a great Third Wave Coffee shop in a sweet area of Baltimore Harbor. Great clean vibe with Friendly Baristas. Locally roasted in house with both your traditional espresso drinks and specialty coffee bar style drinks. Pour over, Latte and Americano were on point! Grab a cup and take a walk along the harbor.
Great place, great coffee, note that masks required to enter.
The best Ceremony branch and one of the best coffee shops in town!
Best coffee in Baltimore. Very smooth yet flavorful roasts. Lattes always come out consistently good here.
Staff is courteous and the coffee is good. However it has a very sterile, manufactured ambience that make it feel impersonal. NGL, no one on staff seemed happy when I was there but they were respectful, courteous and quick about my order - helped to quell my caffeine quota of the day! However, If ever back in town, might check other places instead. Unhappy people make unhappy coffee.
Ceremony has quickly become our favourite getaway, not just due to their exceptional coffee but the wonderful service of the baristas! My significant other and I seriously came here again exclusively after the amazing impression Joshua made on us a few weeks ago during our first visit. He sincerely loves the craft and is knowledgeable and friendly with suggestions! 12/10 will be coming back as regulars from now on!P.S Would you just look at this latte art!?
I really like Ceremony, its one if my favorite coffee shops in Baltimore. I really enjoy working from their Harbor East location but also like the Mount Vernon store. Usually I drink their regular hot/iced latte but I make it an effort to try their seasonal brews. My current favorite is the Falling Leafs (fall 2017).Give them a shot!
If you do not like this coffee your opinion is wrong. LOL - just kidding a little bit but Ceremony uses a very specific type of bean. I LOVE this flavor and only use this type of light roast East African bean in my own coffee. The flavors are natural and complex and unlike what is traditionally used in a more traditional / Starbucks type of coffee shop. The shop is gorgeous (both in Mt. Vernon and Harbor Point) and service is always flawless - I have consumed the exact same drink at the Mt. Vernon shop over 50 times and the Harbor Point shop 3 times and they are always exactly identical - the baristas are perfectionists with their technique - all of them.I will drive 35 minutes just to go to this coffee shop any time, any day.
The selections looked pretty good, and the staff was super friendly, but there was nobody wearing a mask inside! The staff was, of course, but there were multiple people just sitting in this small shop with no masks on! Not drinking their drinks, just hanging out on their phones the whole time I was there, no masks on. This company seems willing to break laws and regulations regarding customer/employee safety as long as they can profit a few extra bucks from it! Avoid at all costs.
5/5, anything espresso always good
Ordered a hot latte twice, it was decent. Breakfast sandwich is pretty yummy though.
Typically you would expect a third wave coffeeshop like this to have snooty baristas but the people who work here are very friendly and I love the unique seasonal drinks that they sell!
Good coffee and cute coffee shop!
Went into the Cremory in Harbor Point on a whim. Just needed a midday coffee. I ordered a mocha thinking Id get a ho hum coffee drink to tide me over till dinner. This was the best mocha Ive ever had! Not sure what they did to make it so yummy but man o man was it good! I highly recommend!
Great place to go and have a cup of joe and work on projects but wifi was a little slow. Servers were very helpful and friendly. Helped me find the right blend for my taste and were very patient. Clean and right in the heart of harbor point which is starting to become my favorite hide away - @iamjazztheceo #Thedappersecurityguard
This is, no joke, the best coffee I have ever had. Not only does it taste delicious, but it is prepared carefully and quickly. They also have amazing food to go along with your amazing coffee. The atmosphere is as good as it gets and everyone who works there is friendly and patient with even the toughest of customers. If youre not drinking Hollow coffee, youre doing something wrong. Also, I highly recommend an iced latte with almond milk.
Was enjoying a nice day in the nearby harborfront park and we decided to stop in for some coffee. To our horror, nobody was wearing a mask inside as if it were some sort of inverted quarantine. Staff was nice but seemed clearly uncomfortable by the patrons (or maybe the managements) refusal to obey basic and clear mask guidelines. People were just hanging out without masks on in the store. Dont visit this business if you dont intend to catch Coronavirus
A fav place for tasty Cafe food. Visited about four, it was not full. Really nothing but good experiences here. It has a great interior.
I heard really great things about Ceremony coffee, and I really wanted to like it. However, the aesthetic isnt really my scene and it doesnt seem as if theyre coffee prices are really worth what you get. My mocha was about average, and the cappuccino was fair to good. We also got banana bread as a snack and are two coffees and snack came to over $15. Seats are uncomfortable if youre looking for a place to settle in and work for a while, and the Wi-Fi is locked so you have to ask for the password. The thing that sets Ceremony apart however is the fact that they have a pour-over coffee bar, and you can watch the magic happen right in front of you. I do think thats a pretty cool, but I couldnt really tell the difference in my drink to be totally honest.
Had a lavender rosemary latte -- what a great concoction!
Great coffee, brewed well!
Good coffee. Excellent service. The fall drinks are worth it.
Ceremony Coffee is known for two things- quality coffee and beautifully designed shops. This location in Harbor Point is Ceremony Coffee design at its best. Its spacious with perfect lighting and simple, clean tables evenly spaced throughout the building. In the very back, you can order your coffee (I recommend their latte).Warning: This location is in the bottom floor of a newly opened building so it feels more sterile and commercial than their other locations. It works, but it can feel more corporate.
Ceremony doesn’t have any locations near me so I’m always super excited when I go to Baltimore and can go. I’ve been unable to put weight on my right hip for nearly a month. I was so eager to get their maple coffee that I got up and out of the car without my cane. It was a limp and it was painful but this is the first time I’ve walked on it in a month. It was all because ceremony is so amazing!
Their fresh mint latte is fantastic!
I tried this place out for the 1st and last time today. The coffee was great, and I decided to try a grilled cheese as well. My co-worker pointed out that one of the guys working had his shoe off and playing with his shoes. I didnt realize that the guy worked here until he put his shoe back on and started touching various items on the counters. I started to watch to make sure he was not the person that was making my sandwich. Just so turned out, he was. NO THANK YOU! I asked for a refund and will not be back. Proper training on cleanliness is important when handling food. If this is acceptable here, I will take my business elsewhere.
Food and coffee delicious, definitely a little pricey for the quantity. Had to feed my husband again shortly after. Excellent customer service, my husbands egg was hard boiled rather than poached and they happily made him another one. Super pleasant space as well.
I loved the hole in the wall vibe, plus they have a unique selection of coffee that is very tasty. The Titanic is super aesthetic. Probably not a great place to sit and work for long due to limited seating.
Nice, clean place with tasty coffee
The coffee/tea served is always on point. 👌🏼The vibe here is very chill so it makes a great place to work at. Im a nerd so I’m always on my computer and always looking for different places to work out of and this place is now on my list. 👨🏻💻
Beautiful Saturday afternoon. Heard great things and decided to check it out. Basically a library with everyone on their laptops. A table that seats ten has two people strategically camped out so you can’t intrude. My partner snags a small table previously occupied by someone who was waiting for a carry out order. I go to the counter to place our order - 2 cappuccinos for here. Expected 2 nice ceramic cups with a lovely swirl. Got 2 in paper cups - one about 3/4 full. It is quiet, I’ll give you that. The coffee is unremarkable.
Coffee is good! Baristas/manager not very friendly the past few times we have gotten to go orders. Especially in these times, a little kindness goes a long way!
I bought coffee beans as a present for my family back home. They have tried it and loved it! Such a great present for coffee lovers
If you’re visiting Baltimore’s Harbor East area and looking for a nice modern cafe to meet up with a friend, date, or colleague for either lunch or a nice tea/coffee, then look no further than Ceremony Coffee Roasters’ Harbor Point location. You may notice that their customers all seem to be enjoying themselves, and the vibe definitely encourages you to stay awhile. I once worked for an afternoon there, and it was so pleasant because everything I could have needed (AKA kombucha, mocha lattes, chai lattes, and nitro cold brews coffee, among other beverages), plus more.Other things I love about this place:- They have a great menu, offering things like avocado toast, salads, and sandwiches.- I have always been able to find a metered spot right out front
Incredible beans. Large selection of youre looking for something in particular
Great coffee, great atmosphere, bad service. The baristas had airpods in and therefore didn’t hear me when I thanked them or said goodbye. Overall cold customer service. Also the bathroom was straight up gnarly, hair and dirt everywhere
This location is bright and sunny and a good place to post up for the day (as long as you dont mind some noise). 4 stars just because you need to prepare for a pricey meal/drink but the coffee is very good! Lattes are my go to here.
Love this place. Big, bright area. Lots of seating. Excellent, friendly staff. Joshua is amazing. Knows everything about everything coffee related. Makes wonderful recommendations every time I visit. If you like a great cup of coffee, this is the place. Fast and friendly. Their pour over machine is very cool. I always take home a bag of beans, as well!
Ceremony coffee is my favorite in Baltimore! The harbor pointe location is beautiful, with plenty of seating. Its a great place to sit and enjoy their food and coffee or even bring a laptop and get work done. They also release special seasonal drinks.
You can but the incredible Ceremony beans of all varieties here.Their in house food and even coffee is just ok, nothing special.
The best cup of coffee in the city. The staff is always pleasant and helpful with any questions you have about the menu or offerings. Its a beautiful space full of light from the windows and its a great place to work or just hang out with friends.
Amazing specialty coffee spot! Must go for a great cup of coffee. Pour overs are AMAZING!
Hollow has always been my go to coffee shop if I want to relax and chill. Place is still small, even though they added more seating in the back. But something about Hollow, the vibes and music makes me want to stay there all day lol. You should come here especially when its raining and gloomy haha, perfect place to chillax.
Ordered both food and drinks during different visits. Tea was very good, food was good. Everything is a little overpriced, but quality seems to be there. Only thing I didnt like was when the guy who took my order forcibly hinted for me to put my change in the tip jar by waving it over the jar before giving it back to me. I would have tipped more than what my change was, but instead, they get nothing.
OOH this is a great new spot, really tasty coffee and treats. The setting is modern and grey but oddly super relaxing. I could stay here all day.
Great coffee and craft beer and a light airy space to do some work!
Great coffee and good food. Modern and expensive. Space is open and somewhat cavernous. Floor to ceiling windows provide a nice view to the outside and water in the harbor. WiFi is solid and noise level is generally low. Not usually that crowded. Bathrooms are clean.
Good coffee. Nice atmosphere. Wish prices were listed for the cans though.
They dont have bagels which if you are gonna be a coffee shop, Im going to go ahead and say you need to have. Coffee was basically boiling when they gave it to me which not to complain about a hot beverage being hot but scalding was not what I asked for. The staff was nice, Im just a bit confused about the menu choices.
Great spot to get some work done. Can get very crowded on Sunday. They have a few menu items if your feeling pekish, and a nice view with large clear windows
I loved the view !!!
Delicious coffee with a very zen feel to the surrounding. Food prepared is so fresh. Great experience.
Great place to work and grab some coffee. Super spacious. Quite. Great location with plenty of parking outfront!
Finally! Ceremony coffee comes east! Yes, they take coffee seriously but you dont have to be a hipster or a coffee snob to appreciate the craft. This place is great for those who like lighter roasts with lots of aromatics, and their coffee drinks are truly creative. (Float a meringue on my crema foam? Sure, why not!) Go here to impress a date or treat yoself.
Nice, affordable selection of beverages. Great place to study! Also there is free one hour parking in the area which is a plus.
Great coffee, a bit pricey though. This location has great views! Grab your favorite brew and sit by the window and you wont be disappointed.
Finally, a coffee destination in the East Harbor area. Tried their drip coffee, which was well presented and delicious. Looking forward to trying their other brews, as well as the wine and beer on offer.
The coffee is very good. They know what they are doing. The pastry was excellent .
Awesome coffee
They were out of ingredients for both things I ordered but did a good job letting me pick it things without being charged more. The coffee wasnt the best for the price, but it was what I was looking for (locally roasted fresh single origin coffee). They use auto-pour over spouts and V60 brewers. Nice atmosphere overall.
My pour over from their summer blend was strong and balanced. The staff helped me select beans as gifts according to descriptions of the recipients preferences. Bright, airy setting.
Fantastic coffee shop. They toast their own beans. Single origin pourovers are available. Plenty of seating.
Coffee and ambience are excellent. I havent had the food, but I love the menu. Baristas a friendly and fast.
Great atmosphere, amazing staff and easily one of the best Cortados out there. served with sparkling mineral water.
The coffee is great and fairly priced. The design of the cafe is very contemporary and minimalistic. The only issues are the uncomfortable seats and the serious lack of available charging outlets.
Great place in Harbor Point for breakfast. There are some seasonal quiches not to be missed—really liked a potato/leek when I was there.
Great grilled cheese sandwich and good coffee. Had a nice lunch with a friend, would recommend
Great pour over. The Ethiopia Chelchele was excellent.
Love their new spot! Food is great and coffee cocktails are amazing
They dont serve coffee, they offer a craft. Their drinks are of a different caliber than anything I have had access to before. I go each time I am in town, and sometimes when Im driving through Baltimore on roadtrips, Ill drive out of the way to stop.Although they focus on regular, their decaf is amazing. I cant have caffeine, and the standard chemical process of decaffeination used for most coffee gives me headaches. They dont use the standard chemical process, or an alternative water process. They use a cane process that doesnt give me headaches and provides a superior flavor. If you cant have dairy, try the oat milk.
Coffee is pretty bad here. Been here several times and never really enjoyed what I got. The food here is decent however and I really like the mushroom grilled cheese here.
Upscale coffee shop not to bad, but sadly not my favorite place for tea.
Great sandwiches! Really enjoyed the Caprese Panini!
