They are doing something right with that espresso. It might be the best espresso Ive ever tasted. I usually get a quad. The flavor is so complex, nuanced, and unique. I look forward to it every Saturday morning.
These photos are Pandora’s Box Boutique across the street. I’ve tried to correct the location several times.
Not a fan. LATTE was weak despite paying for extra shot of espresso and ordering it dark & sweet… their MATCHA was watery. Though it wasn’t totally awful, couldn’t even add avocado to their EGG CHEESE MUFFIN as it was premade, and it was small, so it made it seem like an overpriced McD’s egg mcmuffin.
Breakfast biscuits were super dry and the latte tasted like warm milk
I’ve been to Ceremony three times this past week and on average, I’ll give this place 4 stars. The first visit began with struggling to find the menu and I ended up ordering an iced latte. The drink was a little bit espresso and a whole lot of whole milk - 3 stars. The second visit I asked for an iced coffee but was told they only have nitro cold brew. I gave that a try and it wasn’t bad, but not worth $6 - 4 stars. The most recent visit, I tried a cortado which was much more up my alley. At $3.50, the price was reasonable and the cup was visually pleasing - 5 stars.Overall, Ceremony has fast service and good coffee, but the space could use a little more attention to things such as outlets, queuing, and some more art/greenery in its minimalist space.
Dope location, dope coffee selection and great people who know their stuff they seem to enjoy what they do!
Top tier cold brew, expensive but worth it. Breakfast sandwiches are only ok so i usually just stick to the coffee
Employees are so kind and the coffee is always spectacular!
Americano was super watered down. Either espresso machine is broken or they’re only using one shot for your drinks.
Best coffee ☕ 😋 around!
Favorite coffee roaster/shop in the area. Their batch brew is consistently delicious
Got an iced vanilla latte, it was fine, did the job.
The coffee is fine, nothing special. My wife likes supporting small business so we have frequented Ceremony. For the fifth (and final) time, a lid of my hot coffee popped and hot coffee spilled all over me off so I am done buying anything from here. Not sure whether it’s worth the savings for Ceremony to buy inferior lids and lose customers but that’s what just happened.Literally is all over the inside of my car and myself and the worker didn’t even offer me another coffee, just said “I’m so sorry that happened to you.”In other news, a Starbucks just opened on the next block at Charles and Cross streets.
Good iced latte.
Great redye
Love the atmosphere. lovely study spot in Federal Hill!.. except the scant outlet situation.i love all their specialty coffees. the blueberry muffin was delicious - although all the blueberries were at the bottom..
Outstanding service only outdone by the coffee
Fantastic service and consistently great coffee
Favorite new place for mochas. Super tasty and not too expensive. Lovely interior. Lots of sunlight, super nice staff and nice vibe.
Great Place. Amazing Coffee. Lots of seating. The major thing they need to do in order too increase business is install power outlets for the tables going down the row. Hard to stay and get things done here when you cant plug your electronic devices in.
Excellent coffee- the seasonal drinks are always nice.
Good coffee
A great coffee addition to the area with excellent espresso drinks. Great atmosphere and quick service.
Its the best cup of espresso coffee in fed get out of here with your 1* reviews
The service here is awesome- super friendly and they appear to know what they’re doing (and who doesn’t love latte art). The coffee is great. I like the vibes and the free Wi-Fi. It’s a good place to study as well
Ordered two different specialty drinks. Both drinks tasted bad. Not very nice people working there. Dont recommend going.
Ive been twice, first time I got a pour over coffee the second time a regular drip. Both cups were some of the most bitter coffee Ive ever had. I drink my coffee black. The pour over I couldnt finish, the drip got slightly better as it cooled. This is disappointing, one because the coffee is expensive and two because I was looking forward to a nice coffee shop being nearby in the neighborhood. The interior is nice except something needs to be done about directing people where the line starts, it feels like people are just standing around completely disorganized.
The Caprese Sandwich comes with a delightful side salad! I was able to taste the seasonal Cold Brew before I dove in head first and had a perfect end of the week lunch. Will be back.
I was excited to try the coffee since it’s just around the corner and the shop looks nice and it well laid out. However the employees had absolutely no idea about the coffee they were serving. When I asked what kind of coffee they were brewing (ie origin or roast type) they answer I received was ‘pomegranate’. When I tried to clarify about what kind of coffee *bean* was being used, I was told pomegranate flavor and that Ceremony roasts their own beans so they couldn’t tell me anything about them. Usually a shop the advertises pour over coffee can atleast tell you if it’s a light, medium or dark roast. I tried the shop once before shortly after the location opened and chalked up the lack of knowledge to new staff and a new store working out the kinks. However I have now had a similar experience twice. Having waited through the entire CSM market renovation for a new coffee shop, this was extremely disappointing.
Not good for business. No iced coffee, only nitro cold brew, which is $5.50. Cannot heat up pastries as i was told they would burn in the toaster. Such a strange place. it doesn’t seem like they want customers. Ok
I was told ceremony was the best coffee in town and they were right about the quality but the atmosphere was peculiar during my 1st visit! great music and very friendly staff but i came in one morning maybe a week and a half two weeks ago and one of the employees(with strawberry blonde hair) was being really lovey dovey to another person they were sitting at the expresso station with. at first i thought maybe the person was a guest and not an employee since she had a computer, but she kept going behind the counter and talking to the other employees when she wasnt being romantic to the person she was sitting with. at some point i thought to myself, this is extremely unprofessional. outside of the awkward uncomfortable feeling it gave me. it wasnt a bad place. hopefully next time i visit it wont be as awkward. good note, the latte art on my drink was so pretty!
Great coffee and espresso drinks. Was in Baltimore for 4 days and went to Ceremony four times.
I travel the world and ceremony is the BEST coffee I have had. This location is the friendliest I have been to. ( Mt. Vernon) can learn a lot from this team.
Good espresso! Nice vibe and friendly staff even when busy.
Best Coffee in Baltimore!

Quiet, perfect for getting some coffee while getting work done.
Nice place. Great coffee cafe.
Awesome! Simple atmosphere and really good coffee and food!
Great atmosphere, looks like a space you could spend a lot of time in. The coffee is ok. The food is below avg.
Good stuff, but nothing above & beyond other coffee spots.
Great place to sit and get work done
