Like most people our interactions with Landers are few and far between. We had a great experience 12-13 years ago at The Maytag Store in Timonium (we prefer to shop with independent businesses whenever possible) buying a new washing machine. In between then and now weve had Landers out for various repairs and weve gotten great service (and advice) from Dino and the other techs. Just last year the motherboard died on our perfectly good ~20 year old oven. I called Landers and they spent time with me trying to track down a replacement motherboard. And most recently that washing machine needed replacing and we bought a new one from Landers, whose prices are competitive with the big box stores.

Just want to say how much I appreciate Landers Appliance. The tech was so gentle with my wood flooring and completely fixed my freezer issues. If you’re looking at various companies… look no further. I will certainly call on them in the future if I have any appliance issues. Six stars if I could!!! 💫

I purchased washer,dryer, dishwasher, stove, abd microwave from Landers. All done over the phone! I honestly can say I have NEVER seen better customer service with ANY company. From Sales with Baiba Wheeler to timely delivery and installation, incredibly knowledgeable employees, installation and clean-up from Bobby, Jude, and Alex, Landers truly exceeded any expectations. With so many complaints these days of lack of service, availability of appliances, and delayed service, you would never know there were any problems going on around us. If you need appliances or service on those you have, go directly to Landers, youll never find any better company!

Professional tech who gave me an easy tip for the fix to save me money. When I couldnt pull it off, though, he came back out to make sure the job got done right. A bit pricey for the consult, but definitely worth it in the end.

I’ve used Landers on several occasions for repairs to my oven and refrigerator. This call was for a gas dryer. They were unable to repair it. I searched for a new one but decided to get it from Landers because I know their mechanics are well trained. Pat was very helpful in selecting one similar to my old one.I recommended them to a my neighbor and she was pleased.

Where do I begin?! I am soooo happy I came across Landers Appliance when searching for someone to fix my gas powered dryer, Leah who took my call was very friendly and informative. She even called over the weekend to confirm my appointment for Monday. Mr. Lee or as he called himself “ Lee from Landers “ is wonderful ! He called me 10 minutes before his arrival and upon his arrival he was very professional and had such a welcoming personality. I really appreciated how he took the time to teach me a few things about my dryer. As well as made sure to double check his work and test the dryer to ensure that it was still working before he left. He even went as far as checking to make sure everything is secure from outside where the dryer released the heat to the inside of the dryer when he took it apart. Which was actually pretty cool seeing the inside of a gas powered dryer ignite with all the flames! lander’s pricing I would say is fairly priced although thankfully my dryer didn’t need a lot of work but for the pricing of diagnostic in comparison to other companies charging every 30 minutes or hourly excluding the diagnostic, lander’s price is reasonable . I would definitely highly recommend them! Especially, since Lee is very knowledgeable and passionate about repairing ! The man knows his stuff! Lee also shared fun facts with me .If you ever get Lee as your appliance repair man ( you’ll know it’s him because he is very tall and his personality is big too ! Haha) ask him to tell you the facts about “ a buck “, “ a shot glass” and “ the bridges in Maryland”. Thanks again Lee! You’re the best !

I have used Landers Appliance several times for repairs for appliances. Every time they have been great. I get y appointment for a service tech in a very timely manner. They were here to fix a 40 plus year old dryer and were in and out in under an hour and the dryer is working perfectly now! They are very dependable and if there are any problems they will make it right.

Bought a Dishwasher & had it installed by Landers. They are knowledgeable professional, communicated perfectly, and on time. Support locally owned independent businesses. Their value is far beyond Dollars and Cents. It boosts the local economy and makes SENSE.

I purchased the dryer and it arrived broken. They refused to replace it. It has since broken again. They have been out for 6 service calls and it is still not repaired. Do not engage with this company. Turn and run. The worst appliance experience of my life.

I strongly recommend Landers to everyone I know~ The technicians are extraordinarily professional and well trained. Theyve repaired two of my appliances: a newish, high-tech refrigerator (a couple of years ago), and last week, my old, gas-fired dryer. In both cases, they arrived promptly; carefully diagnosed the problem; offered smart solutions for my consideration; and then were able to make the repairs readily. I feel lucky to have found such a solid and reasonable firm to count on when Ive needed help. Its a bit rare to have such consistency, but Ive heard similar stories from my neighbors. They are a Baltmore gem.

I ordered a dishwasher from Landers last Friday, February 26th. It was delivered today, March 1, just 2 days later! The installers came on time, wore masks, removed the old appliance, installed the new one and left everything clean and tidy.Communication, support and service from Landers is 5 star. Could not be more pleased with the service I received on my old whirlpool dryer. Bill, the repairman, explained the repair, provided a price for repair, fixed the broken belt and checked to make sure the dryer was heating properly and other parts did not need to be replaced. He was very thorough and professional and I will certainly call on Landers in the future if I need other appliance repairs. A perfect solution to my problem!

Great expedient service! After failing to get a service appointment (or even a live person) from the preferred service provider through the manufacturer i decided to go with a local company. They answered the phone, scheduled us immediately and were transparent about the service charge. It was more than fair and less than half of what the other service provider was charging. Our dryer was promptly fixed after ordering the parts we needed. Would be happy to use them again! Highly recommend!

I mostly coordinated with JoAnn and Dean but everyone I interacted with was so nice and helpful at all times.I especially want to point out Shawn, Bobby, Steve, and Rob - the gentlemen who removed the old refrigerator out of the property and brought in and installed the new one. Zugell and I were really nervous about this because we coordinated the move on behalf of our client and of course we wanted everything to go perfectly. We were concerned about damage occurring to the new refrigerator during the move and damage occurring to the recently refinished hardwood floors in the house. Shawn, Bobby, Steve, and Rob definitely eased all of my concerns with their calm attitudes and friendly personalities. They never showed any ounce of stress. They showed confidence and knowledge in what they were doing which made me feel like there was nothing to worry about. Even when I was taking videos and pictures of them (to show our client the progress) they didnt seem to mind the added pressure of someone watching. The way they communicated every move with each other was a perfect example of how a successful team should work. They never took the next step until there was agreement/confirmation that everyone was on the same page. They gave clear instructions to each other. And they always thought ahead to prepare for what was coming next. They took their time, never rushed a move, and showed care for their surroundings. Landers did a diagnostic of my refrigerator/freezer. As the compressor is still under warranty, Landers informed me of what to do to get LG (the refrigerator brand) to install a new compressor. And he recommended which brands actually try to redesign their appliances so they have fewer reoccurring problems.

The repairman knew what he was doing. He diagnosed the problem quickly, ordered the part and now the dryer is working like new. I highly recommend Landers and intend to call them with future appliance issues.

Great customer service, small discounts, but they know a lot about many different brands of appliances. We got a new washer and dryer (Maytag commercial grade) and dishwasher (Frigidaire), all deluxe models, with installation and disposal of the old appliances for $2400. As I said, small discounts but 10 year warranties on both washer and dryer. It was a decent deal. Very knowledgable staff. We also have used the company for appliance maintenance.

Spare yourself the trouble. The technician couldnt tell me what was wrong ( imagine that at a premium price). So it was an lets replace parts till it works approach. Company called and cancelled, came to make the repair didnt have the proper manpower. To top it off they scratched the floor doing nothing.At this point I just wanted to speak to the owner, he didnt want to listen.., maybe theres another side to this company but I didnt experience it.Landers name is mud to whomever I come across for the rest of my life.And like clockwork..Landers won’t address the problem until it’s posted in his reviews..be witness folks..many other service providers..This business is the absolute bottom of the barrel..

Would not use their search engine to find a universal replacement part I needed. E Bay has it but must be flown in from China. 1 1/2 month delivery. To be fair, Landers did, however, answer my inquiry.

The tech was here within an hour. He tested the appliance (gas dryer) to ensure we did not have an actual gas leak. He determined a connection inside the dryer was likely worn and could be causing the issue (gas smell in dryer after clothes finish) but that it would be a $400+ job, and he noticed the dryer was 13 years old and frankly advised that since this is not an immediately dangerous situation, our $$$ would be better spent on a new unit. I appreciated his honesty!!
