Look I get that everywhere is short staffed right now . But I don’t need that to be YELLED at me and full of attitude when I’m wondering why a prescription still isn’t done after 24 hours. Thank god this isn’t live saving medication like insulin. I also wasn’t the only one being turned away because they weren’t ready yet.

After 22 years of second chances ... Im changing my pharmacy (from Walgreens--Ballwin at New Ballwin Rd) today! ; )UPDATE: Its just two days from my original post. One of my family members called the Ballwin WGs this morning to check on a script and was put on hold for nearly half an hour. Once someone actually picked up the phone in the pharmacy (we could hear them in the background) ... they hung up on her! I called to follow up and the person who answered the phone placed the phone on the counter--I could hear the clerk interacting with customers. I hung up and called back. Asked for a manager. Was put on hold. Finally, Stephanie-the-manger picked up. Listened to my constructive feedback and apathetically stated, Ahllllright... and hung up. Wow. Just wow.

We dropped off a prescription Friday evening around 6... they told us the prescription wasn’t specific enough so they’d have to call our dentist Monday... We waited all day Monday for a call (they said they’d call when it was ready)... nothing. I called Tuesday morning and they lost my prescription and had no idea where it could be. They kept asking me who I gave it to and asked me to describe the person I dropped it off with.. I did so. Still nothing... After 4 times on hold, they found it. They said they would put me on the “waiting list” and it would be ready in 20 minutes.... Got to the store 25 minutes later and they “just received the script”........ 40 minutes later and I’m still waiting.... Will go to a different pharmacy for any future needs.

Drive thru takes forever! They state a time when the prescription will be done and its never done on time. One of the prescriptions needed to be reviewed by the Pharmacist and she went to lunch before making the approval the prescription was dropped off over an hour prior to her lunch time. So now a 20 min time line turned into a hour and half. Went back again after she got back from lunch (even giving her 20 extra min) and again was told it still needed approval and it would be another 20 min. Get it together Pharmacist and approve whats pending to be reviewed prior to taking your lunch hour. Help your employees out because I know I was not the only one told one time and was pushed off again and again.

I walked up to get a flu shot and it took them 15 minutes to even get me the paperwork I needed to fill out. I then sat there for 45 additional minutes after handing my paperwork back when they said it would be “just be a few minutes” for me to get my actual shot.

What a godsend Joy was at this location. Had a photo to print to go into blessing box for a little baby and couldn’t figure out how to print a photo from my phone. Joy was patient kind and extremely helpful ! go say hi to Joy at this location and tell her to have a good day because she deserves smile’s. She was so helpful -I am so grateful

Never have to wait in lines. Drive through pharmacy is a major plus. Never had a problem with insurance coverage or not receiving a refill on time.

I was hit with flu like symptons on Sunday, April 7 between 4:00 - 4:30PM CT. This was the 2nd Walgreens stop for the day. I went to the Walgreens (Weidman & Manchester) the only person around was a male (about 5 4 tall) from the pharmacy. He was rude. No empathy to my need for medical attention. Just to be clear, no one was at the pharmacy drive thru or counter.Finally, someone appeared from the clinic and she informed my husband and I that they had more people than they could handle and couldnt see me even though it was 30 minutes before they closed. I told her I heard about Total Access, she was kind enough to look it up for me.I wouldnt make Walgreens my first option for any type of medical illness. They havent figured out how to run that part of the business. My recommendation is let Walgreens use other people to get the kinks out of the system.

They wont transfer my prescription to schuncks. Go to schmucks always better and way cheaper, some times free.
