Great experience with Slyman! Josh was great. We went in knowing what we wanted, he helped us out and got us taken care of. Prices were significantly cheaper than those on all big box stores websites. Since we are building, we don’t know when we will need our appliances delivered. Josh said if we we need to, they’ll send us out some loaners if there’s a delay, and they’ll absolutely hold our appliances in their warehouse if they come in early. You can’t say that about a big box store. Great service and great to work with!

Service was great, we purchased a Bosch refrigerator, dishwasher and wall oven/micro combo in February. Was told most likely will receive in July sometime. Received refrigerator fairly promptly, which was a nice surprise. However, we have received no update of the other appliances purchased and email communication with the sales person has been less than ideal. Was told there is no update and cannot get info because the manufacturer is backed up. But all other questions about rebate info and if we still qualify have gone unanswered. It’s frustrating seeing all the great reviews about communication and getting a different result. Even if there is no update, keeping in touch with customers who made a large purchase would be nice. I even asked about purchasing a washer and dryer and received no response so I went with someone else. Disappointing to feel that our business doesn’t matter.

I bought an entire kitchen of appliances and more. Josh was incredible helpful and knowledgeable. He really listened to what I wanted and provided me so many options and ideas! We have had the greatest experience with Josh at Slyman’s on Manchester. We ordered appliances in September and asked them to hold the delivery because our new kitchen wasn’t ready. Fast forward six months and we still do not have a complete kitchen because we have had cabinet issues and they are still holding $14000 worth of appliances. We have now decided to relocate closer to our children. We ordered different appliances to leave in the home to be sold and Josh is willing to exchange out anything we would like for the kitchen remodel of the new home we are buying. Josh demonstrated strong product knowledge on the Bosch dishwasher. No pressure selling. The larger west county store offered a wide selection. Delivery and installation were set up for the following week. Very smooth process.

I was looking for a replacement counter-stove-top unit. The sales person was very knowledgeable and helpful. He provided quality options. The unit was available and should require minimal modifications at installation. They offered someone to deliver, install the stove top, and take away the old unit.It was a much better experience than the big box store.

Kitchen appliances were delivered, but not the additional washer/dryer ordered another day, but were in the warehouse.Then, the washer is delivered, but dryer wasnt in stock - no one told us.2) Bad luck with function.* Speed Queen washer has 3 parts that need replacing. Either we received a damaged item, or a lemon. Either way, we do NOT want to replace the parts, but rather receive another one.* Zephyr downdraft control panel not functioning properly, also needs replacing.FRUSTRATION.

My wife and I bought an Amana refrigerator for our garage on 5/16/20 to replace our old one. We had heard good things about Slyman Brothers. Unfortunately, weve had just the opposite experience.The fridge broke down 3 times in 10 months. Each time, it was out of order for several weeks while we waited for replacement parts. (Thats not Slyman Brothers fault, but a COVID-related issue.)The fourth time it broke down, we were told to contact the store as it didnt make sense to keep repairing this unit. I e-mailed the salesman who sold it to us on 2/23/21. I informed him of the situation. He said hed see what could be done and get right back to me.After a week (3/2), Id not heard from him, so e-mailed him back. I was told he was waiting on a reply from Whirlpool.Another week passed and still no word (3/9), so I e-mailed him again. I heard back two days later (3/11) telling me wed been approved for an exchange.So we waited. And waited. On April the 4th, I contacted the salesman yet again. He said they were waiting on a fridge from Whirlpool.We waited ANOTHER month and I contacted him on May 4 and was told the fridge was on back order.He e-mailed back on May 6 to tell me the ETA on the fridge was May 26.And here I sit on July 13th. During the removal of my old refrigerator (which is included in their service) the dolly slightly damaged my border on the floor. They immediately told me and contacted the warehouse manager & my salesperson to notify. Within 5 minutes I received a call explaining how they would make arrangements to repair.
