A little pricey. But over all good neighborhood market. They have most things you would need for a quick stop without the hassle of a large line grocer. Staff seems to be family and are very helpful and courteous. Would recommend.if living in the area as a one stop shot for minimalist shopping.

The staff at food village are vary helpful,the owners recently took over the store and are always on hand to assist when needed, also in addition is remodeling of the meat department,the butcher are professional and the meats are always fresh,so when youre in the Rexland acre area and to get the store pay a visit to Food village for that ole fashion shopping experience.

I’m all for change but since these new owners have taken over, nothing has been the same. Everything’s more expensive, groceries aren’t the same. They mostly sale beer. I noticed one day the guy that owns the place was walking straight towards the group of older guys that hang around and talk; once he saw they were not on the property but the sidewalk he came back inside and spoke to, who I’m guessing is his wife, in an angry way and pointing towards them. Also someone that works there told me they were not allowed to speak Spanish anymore, idk what reason, but the owners could speak there language? A bit discriminatory to me.
