The build a bear here in Bakersfield California was fantastic is fantastic the one in Ohio is horrible

Please update the details of your closing on Google. We brought our family here for our daughter’s birthday only to be met with a gate and sign saying they wouldn’t be open until mid March.

Clean, friendly. We purchased two bears with some wardrobe . They have cute wardrobe for all your furry friends. Some items like recordable hearts were not in stock .

We decided to do a birthday party here and upon arrival they were closed. The only store in the entire mall that was closed and we checked before we came. Please update your information on your website.

Store was busy for covid standards, we spent about 30 minutes getting two bears. Well worth the time and effort during these times. Employees were very courteous and energetic!

The 2 guys that helped were nice & did help me with everything I needed. That is why I put 3 stars BUT when I went to pay the girl that rang me up did not tell me what the total was until after she told me to insert my card, then gave me a 10% off coupon and a free $10 gift card which she charged me $10 for then it returned $5 of it, So I paid $5 for a free $10 gift card . If I would have known that they were going to charge me for a free Item, I wouldve had them remove it. Luckily for them I didnt find it until I got home! I will never shop there again.

We came here for a field trip and this was our second year in a row. The first year, I would have given 5 stars. This year, the staff worked really hard to get us out quickly... too quickly. They didnt allow kids to groom their bears and pushed them through fast. Additionally, they didnt have the boxes, only bags. You would think they would have enough when they know several weeks in advance of the large party. Disappointing for the kids because when I was describing what they would get to do to my students, as only 3 had ever been, I told them of these things but then they werent a part of their experience.

My grandkids had a real blast at build a bear.

Thank you to the lady last night who took the time to answer questions and treat my very overly excited son with compassion and make this visit extra special, Megan took time to high five him and really went above and beyond when stuffing his bear she knew he may be a rough and tough boy with these so she stuffed them just right, there really needs to be more associates like her that make those kids who require patience and understanding feel welcome and accepted even if just for a short time

They were so friendly and helpful with my request and even was able to replace the voicebox.

My 6 year old niece had a blast here and wants to come back again soon.

The staff here are awesome. Really friendly and knows how to customer service. If anyone is thinking about going to this location ask for Rio, hes too cute for words and always makes the experience one to remember, your child will leave happy for sure.

The staff was awesome and upbeat, they were really patient at the Bakersfield location... especially miss Tina. The birthday held will definitely be a consideration for my childrens next birthdays..

The staff are so nice and every time weve gone in theyre very helpful. They now do pay your age birthday teddy bears, which you can get anytime during the month of your birthday. My daughter got hers today for $3! Super cute!
