Hidden gem! Well organized, lots of cool collectible stuff besides comics and toys, neat displays, a table top gaming area. Amazing how much they pack in to the space they have. Family owned and operated and they are really friendly and kind folks.

Amazing place, everyone was super nice, bought a butterfly comb that is in really good quality. I went with my family and I think its owned by my grandpas cousin. Im not being biased I just really love this place. Everything was well organized and everything there was super high quality. Would definitely come back, in fact im planning to so i can buy one of those NICE swords.

Old man who owns the places is horrible doesnt help and is rude. His son when he is there is great and helps out.

Best place in town for both comics and collectibles. Havent found a store in bakersfield yet with a bigger selection of figurines and other memorabilia. They even have some anime stuff, still not as much as i hoped but the best in town.

I had a great experience on my first visit the day before black friday. The couple that works in the front are very friendly and very knowledgeable of pretty much everything collectables. I am going to be a frequent visitor after my first experience because they have a great selection and you cant beat great customer service these days.

Love this place for all the pop culture things they had. Stopped by first time on a whim and now i would love to come back for manga, comics, and figurines

This place is so awesome for new and old collectibles! They have a huge selection of both American and Japanese comic stuff which I love. The owner was so nice, even staying open a bit late for us to peruse 😁

I like this comic book store, they have a decent selection of comics and comic related items and they always seem to be having events, signings, specials, etc. My daughter asks to go here all the time just to look at stuff, but we always end up buying something. Whether it be a comic book, or stickers, or a toy (good selection of things for little girls as well as guys). The only thing I dont like about it, is its kind of cramped for space (especially during an event with a bunch of people trying to get around each other) and it feels stuffy, like they dont run the a/c.

Friendliest owners around with great selection! I visited for the first time and was really impressed with the shop and especially the help and attention I received. They answered all my questions, were genuinely pleased to have me in their store, and helped my 3 year old have a good experience with some of their Disney collectables. I highly recommend visiting!

A family own geek heaven.

I will sometimes head into this shop just to browse their selection and want want want. The staff is incredibly friendly and plays a large part in community programs like extra life. The wife and husband are extremely nice :) and they have another worker there to help with events and such.If you get the chance to get in here you should.

Interesting that, one month before a major Marvel film release, this large comic book shop doesnt have a single BLACK PANTHER comic book, action figure or sticker; I spent twenty minutes searching before realizing that the owners had to make a conscious decision to exclude Black Panther from its store. I will never spend a cent at this store again.

The shop is ran by nice people and has some really cool stuff to collect. I went to their shop from Visalia and was not disappointed. I was able to find quite a few issues that I had missed out on. Next time I am in Bakersfield I will visit the shop.

Best comic shop in town I think. Ive been to a lot of comic shops in nearly every city I visit and this is probably my favorite and it happens to be right in my hometown! It isnt the biggest (not small either) but they make good use of the space.They always have the newest release of big name comics like DC, Marvel, and Dark Horse, plus many smaller brands as well. There are also many boxes filled with older comics neatly organized by character. There are also lots of books and graphic novels on shelves as well.There are also a lot of games, but dont expect monopoly or sorry. Heroclix, Yugioh, Pokemon, and such are more likely to be found. There are also tables for tournaments that are occasionally held there.There are also lots of action figures and other random things, even art and swords! There are many cool trinkets in the front display case.Probably the biggest selling point for me is the staff. They seem to know when to help and when to just leave you alone to look around. They are very kind, welcoming everyone who comes through the door, and provide a positive atmosphere. In one case there was a sale sticker left on an item from a con and they said it was their mistake and gave me the discount anyways.I definitely recommend this comic shop as it is my favorite in the area. A positive atmosphere, good selection, and fair to cheap prices are just a few of the things that draw me to it.
