This pharmacy has the rudest people working there. If I didnt live close I would take my prescriptions elsewhere. They used to be so great, but now are too busy to care about Patients. Seriously, if I have health concerns and Im questioning prescriptions taken for those concerns, the last thing I need is an attitude from overworked, disgruntled employees. Save yourself the hassle and go to Walgreens up the road if you can.
Please clear this location to hire more people!The pharmacists and techs here are SO nice, and very efficient—but they are ALWAYS incredibly understaffed and I feel terrible for them. They’re all fantastic and trying their hardest but they just can’t keep up. Things get missed, wait times are long. Please let this location hire more staff, the people they have are great but they’re drowning.
Worst CVS Ive ever been to. The drive thru individuals take an excessive long time to deal with each person and are extremely rude. The pharmacist takes days to process prescriptions. Ive waited as much as a week to get a refill. I picked this one after my move due to it having a drive thru. Worst choice ever. I should have just stayed at the 59th ave location. A 30 minute drive would be preferable. At least there my prescriptions were usually ready within 24 hours and even a long line at the drive thru went faster than this place.
Very rude with when picking up prescription. Medication most of the time not ready for pick up and a few times the staff refused to accept my insurance so I had to call my doctor and get him involved as my insurance has alwaysbeen accepted by cvs.
To whom it may concern. David was an outstanding CVS employee towards me. He shared all the perks and more with me about being part of cvscarepass.Incredible. Bottom line. I always go to Walgreens on the other corner. This will now be my go too. Great customer experience 👍.

The cashier who was working there by the name of David had amazing customer service . We walked in the store and the first thing he asked is if we needed anything and he helped us find everything and even went to the back to double check for items that werent on the shelf. He is a very good employee with great customer service. Go David!
One of the rudest pharmacist I have ever dealt with. One star is to much if you ask me. Went and had a prescription done even had the Dr. Call and talk with him. He asked why my daughter was in hospital. He even had it felled and refuse to give it unless we gave him informationAll of this was in front of other customers. Will be going to corporate with this one.
Just went in for some cough syrup, what a hassle! These folks have no desire to interact with customers just shoo you off to the self checkout machine. Well the first one took my phone number and says that the coupon box is full and cant continue without help, the cashier at the register is busy with another customer thats why she sent me that way to begin with. So I go to the other machine, Im not falling for that trick again so I dont put my number in this time. Hold the phone, because now it wont continue without help again, needs proof of age. Geez, Im over 50 and going grey on top, I havent been carded in 30 years. I go stand back in line figuring that the only way Im going to get this cough syrup is to go to that cashier anyways, shes still working on the same customer as before so another cashier comes up and tells me to check out at the self serve checkout. I told her no, but if she wanted to help me at the other register she could. She again tells me to use the self check out and I again refused and asked if she could just help me at the other register, she just ignored me and told me a third time to use the self check out. I already had a really stressful day at work and certainly dont need any more so I put my would have been purchase by their second register and said Ill just go to Frys down the street then, thank you! Seriously folks there is nothing I need from CVS that I cant get at a Walgreens or at Frys, both of which I can pass by on my way home from work. I only used CVS for the convenience of being easy to get into and back out of and never being busy. Dont really see any need to go back and get put through all that hassle, you either want me spending my money with you or you dont. Everyone else seems more than happy to take it.
All I wanted was some nose spray and some Pedialight. As I walked into the store I was stopped by a clerk and asked if I had a mask to which I replied no because i am concealed carrying and it is a federal crime to wear a mask and carry a firearm. She then says oh ok sir you go ahead then . As I was leaving a store manager Jason Ackerman asked me to step to the side and told me that he didnt care that I was carrying that if I wanted to shop at that store I would have to put a mask on . I told him that due to the fact that his company does not forbid firearms and have it posted I am legally allowed to carry in the store and that I will not be violating a federal law on his behalf. So I have one question, when did it become CVS policy to violate peoples rights as a free American?

The only thing I don’t like about CVS is that they don’t put things on clearance after a holiday until all that’s left are the things no one wanted in the first place.The women who work here at the Avondale Rd location have always been so helpful and nice. They have made every transaction easy and always have a smile for you. THANKS.
Worst customer service ever. And if you are going in for the deals like getting cvs cash back you better make sure you are on top it because they will not give them to you. Ive had multiple of issues here. Its the closest to my home. I have to repeatly remind them with their flyers that they have the deal ups. And then when they see for themselfs theybwill honor it. Also per the person that spoke like he was the manager they state they dont follow the 98% rule as if your product comes out to 14.98 they wont round it for you to be able to get cvs cash back. And its a like because i spoke to someone else that worked there and they said they do. I was ripped off so many cvs cash back that its annoying.
I had order photos through google photos but the quality was horrible. I decided to return it. Jason who seemed like the store manager assisted me for a refund. He insisted because he was more worried about losing money and wasting his printers ink. He kept blaming it on the photographers camera and i kept telling him that the photos i took from my phone came out the same way as well. i told him it might be his printer and he said it wasnt. He had to think about it a lot. He asked me who was the photographer, what camera she had and if she sent them electronically. He asked me if i was going to reprint and i said yes but somewhere else. He said the pictures were going to come out the same somewhere else. All of this doesnt matter. If a customer is not happy with a product, they have the right to be refunded. No questions ask. No convincing. He had no people skills whats so ever. I wasted a whole 30 minutes trying to get a refund that i didnt get. My whole family was waiting in the car thinking it would only take 3 minutes just to return something. he made it very complicated. He knew i had children waiting in the car and did not care to speed up the service. I told him i either get my refund or i will go through my bank to put in a depute. After trying to convince me that it wasnt his fault that the pictures came out the way they did he was going to refund me. He was acting very suspicious when he was going to refund me. I know how a purchased a returned. I had my receipt. i had purchased it the day before. When you return your item, they scan the bar code on the receipt, scan the item youre returning and you insert the card you purchased with. Instead, he was calculating each photo by the cent, total it, scanned his CVS card, asked for my state ID and compared my name on the card i paid it with (he said my name did not watch with the card i paid with and i told him it was my maidens name) and after that he made me insert my card. He printed a receipt out declining my purchase. He said he wasnt sure why is was refusing my return. He told me to contact CVS customer service. He thought maybe it was the card i paid with which it wasnt. He asked if i come here often and if i get this problem. I walked off and I decided to go to another CVS for my refund. It only took 3 minutes to get my refund without a problem. I will no longer be a CVS customer, Ill get my proscriptions through Frys. either way their pharmacy sucks. Super slow service and theyre always busy. I put in a complaint with the corporate office.

Worst pharmacy ever. I call to check on prescription and they tell me it will be ready by a certain time. I called 2 hrs after the original time they said to make sure the prescriptions were ready well guess what it wasn’t.... 😡 apparently only one prescription was ready and the other would take another hr. Meanwhile I have my child at home sick needing her medicine. Definitely moving all my family’s prescriptions to a different pharmacy!!
Called script in on Monday evening. Told it would be available Tuesday between 12:00-3:30. Arrived at 5:30, was told to come in and wait in-store with my newborn.An hour later was told their inventory was not correct. Apologies were given, and was told it would be in on Wednesday instead between 3:00-5:00. Was told the regional director (or similar title would reach out per my request).Arrived around 5:30 on Wednesday, waited in a long line, and had the pharmacist give my wife an attitude, saying it still wasnt in stock.Husband arrived 1 hour later waited in line with our child for an additional 45 minutes, and was told it had been there since shipment arrived that morning.Husband requested again to have the regional director call.Thursday, still no call.
Close to my house for all my medical, hygiene, and random gift needs also a care pass member which helps with discounts and gives me a $10 a month for only $5 which is worth it in the long run
I have used this pharmacy for over 5 years and never had an issue. Here lately this pharmacy has not been the best. I have dropped off my normal monthly prescriptions and they do not let me know they don’t have it in stock, they wait hours until I return to pick it up.I work in healthcare I understand that the pharmacy is busy, but they are saying meds will be ready at a certain time and they are not. My husband had to wait in the store for an hour and a half.My doctor called in a prescription after I had a procedure and really wanted me to start it today. I call the pharmacy to check on it. The automated system said it would be ready at 2:30, then I call back at 4 and it says it is still in process. I tried to call the pharmacy and talk with someone but it seems they are not answering the phones.I like the pharmacy, but there are so many issues that I may just switch to a different location.
The service is awesome. Every time I enter this store I get greeted by an associate. Everyone is so friendly and willing to assist. I have also used the drive thru to drop off and to pick up meds.They have fast service and someone is always there to explain the meds. They are always fully stocked and they welcome your coupons at check out without giving you any attitude. I recommend this location but the only thing its not open 24 hours, 4 stars overall!

I worked here for about 6 months with little to no experience in the pharmacy all because a good-hearted pharmacist took a chance on me. Cedar (pharmacy manager) taught me all that she could in such little time. The staff are just as friendly. I loved working here and making a difference in patients lives working drive thru, or pick-up. At this pharmacy the techs and pharmacists on duty really do all they can to help the patient feel better. Everything really does revolve around the patient here. 🌏
Photo shows news of a promotion that was in an email I received early this morning 12/24/17 from CVS. They refused to honor this 50% off Clearance Starts Today at their Avondale Blvd store, saying that it was the tradition to start clearance on December 26. Two alleged Customer Care numbers both took me to their pharmacy which told me to call back on Monday (Christmas?) after 8:30! Another number led to a real person who took a report and said I would hear back on Wednesday! Emailing them got me a message that I would hear back in five business days. I believe that Customer Care is a misnomer for this company.
Received a call from a woman in the pharmacy earlier in the day, assuring me my prescription would be ready by the time I got there.When I got to the pharmacy, no one even knew I was coming.My advice would be to get names and times of people you spoke to. No accountability here.
They accused me of shoplifting and then the guy instead of asking me to leave asked me to fight and when I said okay lets fight he chickened out... The manager their is a racist idiot... Hes gonna bring allot of problems to that store... Thats the honest truth too... He dont have me on camera to say the things he said hes totally out of his mind... Go ask him your self... He couldnt show me anything on tape when the police arrived... He was caught in a lie and his boss covered for him... No evidence just harassment...

They want to give my son the pharmacists type of medicine and she was a liar and mean and have no brain and they argue and for 45 mins and and wrong medicine CVS is dangerous
The staff are really nice but their child proof bottles are impossible to open if you have arthritis. I cant open the bottles and the only other option is non child proof. Guess Im going back to Walgreens even though they have terrible customer service.

I am not a fan of CVS Pharmacy. Theyre starting a new program that on certain medicines they were only give you 7 pills per week. Also I had a family member who is on my Blue Cross Blue Shield Pharmacy insurance they went in there to get prescriptions filled they were then told sorry you dont have prescription on your insurance. So I go back in there and ask to speak to the pharmacist I said I dont know why youre telling my family member that theyre not on my prescription Clan, but they are, and heres the cards the same one they showed you so, you totally upset this person in my family who is on my insurance and I think you people need to get your act together here. So I am not a fan of CVS at all.

I was given a raincheck by the manager micah due to the product I wanted not being in stock on 7/6/17 and told that they would get more product on 7/10/17 so I waited until after 7pm on 7/10 and the manager micah says they havent stocked the shelf yet and made no effort to help me after I drove out of my way and tells me to check again tomorrow! This is disappointment and waste of my time!
Took my infant to the emergency room, received my prescription dropped it off at the pharmacy at cvs on Avondale and van buren girl told me to come back an hour came back past an hour guy told me that girl had entered my prescription just as I was showing up!!! Had no other option but to wait again. Lazy people. No type of urgency even if girl seen my daughter crying. Never returning to this cvs they suck
