10/27: Nathaniel Guzman & Charles Horton helped me load a U-Haul trailer I will be driving to Boston tomorrow. I have to say, these two gentlemen were so professional, strong, respectful, attentive, and they went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of from start to finish. Nathaniel & Charles took the time to shift things around as they were loading to ensure the trailer would be packed tight so things would not shift during the long drive. They were so respectful when asked to be as quite as possible because the baby was down for his nap. Hands down two of the best movers I have worked with. Thank you again Nathaniel & Charles.

We were very pleased with our recent local move using Square Cow. The communication was excellent before and during the move. The crew (Jorden, Walter, Carlos, Dylan & Kenny) arrived on time, worked quickly and efficiently wearing masks “correctly” the entire time...very professional. The price I was charged was exactly as anticipated for the time traveling and working. Of the numerous quotes I received, Square Cow was the only company that would disconnect and reconnect the refrigerator and washer/dryer. There was no damage to any of the furniture, appliances or either house. I would definitely recommend them to a friend or neighbor.

This team of guys helped me out so much. I had to move up to Austin, TX from Houston, TX with a 4 days notice for a new job. The call center made it easy for me to schedule a move and the crew that moved me are amazing. I asked if they wanted help dissembling anything that I had but they showed up with tools in hand and did it all lightning quick. They took care of my items more than I would have myself. They padded every piece of furniture from head to toe and made it look nice and easy in the process. The guys had great professional manners and still had there own personality. 100% would recommend to anybody with a big or small move. These guys are worth it.

We used Square Cow South Austin for a local move from Austin to Kyle. Their team of Ernest, Travis and Zach were great. They wrapped the furniture really well to say the least. And they worked their butts off in 105 degree heat during our recent heat wave. They started earlier than scheduled and the extra time came in handy. Our experience was very positive.

We did a commercial move that involved an engineering and biology lab with lots of fragile and sometimes heavy equipment. Everything made it from one place to the other in one piece and both facilities stayed looking good as well. 10/10 would recommend and use again. Jayvion and Joe were total pros. We especially loved how they were kind and professional when working with us and when working with the other two members of their team. I noticed several comments of good job or well done to the other guys during particularly challenging maneuvers. The way team members treat each other says a lot about the company and the way theyll treat your belongings. During the whole move they communicated well and stayed positive, and it was a long move.

This was my second experience moving with Square Cow Movers and I was not disappointed by the repeat performance. Jesse and Chris were punctual, professional and nonplussed by our packing efforts, and they pleasantly picked up furniture from three separate locations to move into my daughters apartment much more quickly than expected. One thing that I love about Square Cow is their flexibility, so we were able to save money because they were so efficient. The next time I need something moved, Ill work with them again.

I have used them 3 times and they did poorly on 2. They are the same as any other moving company when it comes to not caring about your things and doing as little as possible for the most money. They say you get what you pay for, and SCM charges THE MOST but provides BASIC service. Ill be using All My Sons for my next, very important move. Called the manager to talk about all my stuff they broke and that I was unhappy with the quality of the move a week ago, havent heard back as he said I would and am no longer planning to.

They called us on the morning of our big move and let us know when they were leaving from the facility in South Austin and the approximate time they would be arriving at our house in Northeast Austin. They were professional, courteous, hard-working, and very organized and helped make a very busy and tiring moving day manageable for our family.We had to leave in the middle of our move to sign closing paperwork for our new home in Round Rock and in the meantime they loaded up the truck and were almost finished moving our furnishings into the new house when we arrived. Everything they touched was done with care and professionalism and they were both very friendly and appreciative of the steps we had taken to make our move as organized as possible. I dont expect to move again anytime soon, but Square Cow would be at the top of my list if I were in the market for moving services again.

These guys know customer service! I called yesterday due to being in a pinch with a last minute move of some heavy electronics. The gentleman that took my call was awesome and said not to worry at all. They could meet my needs. You always get a little leery about those comments, but I was super happy that they came through. Not only that, I asked for a wooden pallet if possible and they threw one in the truck for me to load my stuff onto. They wrapped my stuff up very secure before ever moving it, and once it arrived the new location, took extra care to ensure it was placed where it was needed. HIGHLY RECOMMEND the TEAM at Square Cow! Will call on them again when needed!

Our team of 4 moovers were very polite and efficient! They did a great job handling our move and we would definitely recommend them and use again.

Our stuff was moved, and nothing was seriously damaged. Everyone I spoke to over the phone was pretty nice. Thats all I can say that was positive.The two men moving us really milked it. They would take 20-30 minutes to take a load of stuff to their truck and come back. We were on the second floor of an apt complex, so we expected it might take a little time. Eventually my roommate walked the dog outside and found the guys sitting in the cab of the truck. The latest load they were taking was still in the elevator 50 feet away and around a corner.I called to report it, they were very apologetic and assured me they would handle it. They did nothing. The rest of the move went faster as we watched them carefully. But they still charged us for at least 90 minutes more than they needed to.I dont recommend these movers.

I moved last week and overall, it was a very good experience. They were one of the only moving companies that actually came out and visibly inspected the home furnishings. All others gave a quote based on size of house and I have been burned by that in the past. Thanks, Rebecca! She was great, and also very helpful w all my questions and concerns.Packing day saw Ben and Chris show up. They were polite, friendly and efficient. The next day was moving day. The same two showed up w Christian as reinforcements. There was more than they thought would be and there was also going to be two drop offs, my apartment and a storage unit. They then called in Trey as further reinforcement. All four were hard working and solid!We finally had everything packed and first drop off unloaded by 6ish. We got to the second drop at the storage unit around 930 only to find that the storage people had not unlocked my unit. The guys repacked the van w what they had already started unloading and said they would store it as is and would come back the next day to unload. Ben and Chris not only showed up again, but their manager told them to not charge me for the added time!! I would highly recommend the company and their people for moving!

They were absolutely amazing! Very kind and professional. Even my parents were impressed with how good they were! The initial estimate of my move was five hours, it ended up taking 6 hours - and they were worth every penny! I now live in a second story apartment, and I have several large heavy pieces of furniture that needed to be moved and one table and chairs that needed assembly - which they did in the last hour. 10/10 I would definitely recommend them, and most certainly use them again the next time I need movers!

I recently moved from Austin, TX to Denver, CO. I am so happy I chose Square Cow as my movers! They were exceptional...the packed my house and loaded the truck in torrential downpours (poor guys), everything was handled with care and nothing was damaged. They showed up at my house in Colorado not more than 30 minutes after I arrived. They had everything unloaded and placed precisely where I wanted it. These guys are amazing.We just moved from a house we have lived in for 15 years into a brand new home. We needed two trucks and four guys to get it done in a day - and they did it.Demarcus, Jayvion, Danny and Chase did great work for us. No damage to anything, and a great, friendly attitude. They worked hard all day, took great care with us and with our things. We got everything moved in on the one day we had for it.Not only that, but these guys placed furniture - sometimes twice - without a word of complaint. They even hefted our new desks (still in boxes) into our room from the front porch, just to be nice.Professional, prompt, and the best movers weve ever worked with. You can trust them to get the work done - and for the EXACT price they quoted us. That was the best part. We budgeted quite a bit more than we were quoted, based on our previous experience with movers, but they came in on their estimate to the penny.

Just dont. They ruined the outside of my black stainless steel refrigerator and walls in my house. Please go ahead and look at the pictures. I had explained to the movers that the reason they were there was to move the heavy items so that I wouldnt ruin them. After waiting about two months, they sent me a check for $345. The refrigerator is a year old and was $4k! All the doors need to be replaced and that is no where near the amount it will cost us. Just dont. I kept trying to call and find out information and was told When I know something, Ill let you know.

I think they did a really great job with our move. They were a little late (like 30min no big deal) but were really helpful and friendly when they got to our old apartment. They moved everything from a 3rd story apt (with no elevator) in really good time. Everything was in good condition when it was delivered.

Ive used Square Cow twice- once to go across town within Austin and once for a long distance move from Austin to Denver. Both times they did a terrific job and were extremely professional throughout. Pricing was competitive, especially considering the quality and speed of their work. Highly recommend them and if I move again they will be my first call!

If zero was an option I would pick zero stars. Thieves!!!I was informed that I needed two trucks and 4 guys to move my house. I thought that was way too much and I was right. They used both trucks, but both were not completely full. I think 1 truck would have been enough. This however, was just the beginning. The 4 guys that they sent were paired off, a seasoned team and a rookie team. I called it team A and team D-. The D- team was pathetic. It seemed like they would just linger around and wait to be told what to do by team A. Later I discovered what they were really doing. The move took longer than I was told, primarily due to the fact that only 2 guys were really working. One of the workers on the D- team couldnt even put a bed metal full-sized bed-frame together. After watching him struggle for 20 minutes I told him that I would put it together. It took me less than 5 minutes. When I saw one of them only walking in with a lamp shade while the two others from team A were carrying a couch upstairs I figured there was no need for the two extra guys.A couple of days after the move my wife and I were arranging our closet. That is when I find an empty shoe box in the back of the closet behind everything else. Mind you the shoe box was not empty to begin with, it had a very expensive collectable pair of Jordans. The tape on the boxed had been ripped open and my shoes were STOLEN. We went through all the boxes in search of the shoes to make sure prior to me calling and informing Square Cow management.I am disappointed at how Square Cow handled this matter, especially the manager of the south location Nick. He seemed extremely indifferent about the entire situation. He only paid lip service to one of his employees stealing from a customer. This experience has been very disheartening and Square Cow is complicit in theft.

Awesome team made our stressful move much less stressful. Xavier (the foreman) kept everyone on track and called for support when needed as we had a ton of stuff and the scheduler in the office hadnt asked enough questions to get enough guys (or trucks). Im doing two reviews because Square Cow South moved us twice in one week. First out or our apartment. I dont have the names of the three guys that moved us, but they were courteous, professional and very fast besides being careful with our belongings. The moved us on Tuesday July 17th, out of our apt into our house in 3.25 hrs.I highly recommend Square Cow and would definitely use them again.

Just a fabulous company. Parker and Cody are two amazing employees. Great teamwork, polite and professional. They made a difficult move seem easy, especially a move to a third floor unit.

Their driving is quite reckless.They didnt yield while I was on a round-about, and I had to screech the brakes to avoid running into their truck. I hope coach their drivers since theyre moving peoples stuff.

Weve used the guys twice. The first time they did a pretty good job, the second time they sent the B team. We had told them clearly that we needed help packing stuff up and loading it into a pod. They showed up with 2 big trucks and no packing supplies. They loaded what we had managed to pack before hand into the pod, then loaded our furniture in, over-protecting things that didnt need protection, but then under-protecting things that really needed it. Eg: My great aunts dining set was just stacked in like tetris blocks with no protection, resulting in lots of nicks and scrapes on the legs which had been perfect since the 1940s until this move. An antique hall tree had some heavy furniture stacked on top of it, and it broke loose the screws holding the back of it on. The headboard was scraped up by some loose furniture stacked on it. The worst part though was they rushed moving out a 500lb gun safe and scraped up the floor getting it out then dropped it down the stone steps on the back of the house, cracking the stone steps and smashing in the face of the safe. This is a safe that I have safely moved by myself twice without incident, and 4 guys managed to really screw it up. I sent in a claim form for the safe 3 months ago and havent heard anything back. We had a bad feeling about the guys when they showed up. We should have sent them away after the first box they dropped.

The first crew was slow and took breaks constantly. Eventually they called a second truck to help and that team worked twice as fast and couldnt believe how slow the packing had been done by the first crew. My suggestion, NEVER agree to an hourly rate with these thieves or youll spend twice as much as you anticipated.

I cant say enough great things about Square Cow Moovers. Its obvious from the time you call to make the appointment until the truck leaves at the end - Square Cow actually cares about you and your stuff! Superior attention to detail when packing and unloading, including prepping my home so that no damage was done to the floors, door frames, etc... Our movers were very personable - yes maam, no maam, etc... Will definitely use them again and refer them to everyone we know who is moving!

This will be my 4th in-town (ATX) with Square Cow. Theyve always quoted the right amount of movers and their prices are competitive. I was surprised with some of the bad reviews as I have only had responsiveness from the office staff, polite movers, and an overall great experience. My latest move was a full house-to-house move including an entire garage of storage and hiking equipment. So far, as Ive unpacked, everything arrived safely and without scratches.
