Eclectic place. Clean with friendly staff.

This Goodwill location is quite possibly my favorite of all the Austin locations. The reason being, they dont seem to be as ridiculous with the pricing as some of the others. I really appreciate that Im able to go there and pick up housewares, clothes, frames, Furniture, Etc and I dont end up paying nearly the same amount that I would have paid had I bought it new. Additionally, the employees here are very helpful and nice. There was a manager that I really liked who I believe got transferred oh, but the people who have replaced him are also nice so Ive got no complaints. I do have to say and this is unrelated to this particular location but I wish that Goodwill would stop selling new items. Half the reason I shop there is to avoid adding to the landfills and them selling new not very good quality items negates the whole point.

Place a little run down but the people there are very nice and it looks like they love working there. That says a lot about a place if the employees have a bad attitude it really has a big impact on the shopping experience. That Goodwill has been there many years. Fact dont always judge a book by its cover.

Coming here is like going on a treasure hunt. I have a thing for 1960s to early 80s cookware and glassware and for that this is the place to go! You can get that edgy vintage look for a fraction of what you would pay at Anthropology or Crate & Barrel. Take a day off and do a Goodwill of Austin tour! I promise you wont be disappointed!

There was some fragrant chemical smell throughout the store that made me dizzy and noxious. Combined with the fact the store is sloping, I left immediately. 20 minutes later I still feel sick. Store needs proper ventilation and foundation work before I would consider going in and spending time looking to purchase.

Its not the cleanest and youll be digging through bins with some of the toughest bin diggers in town. You can get some great deals at this place if youre willing to put in the time and effort, though you certainly will. If you dont like crowds, its not the best place to be.

The reviews are correct. I found this place on my GPS searching for nearby Goodwill stores. I browsed around but its mostly very rough looking items and lots of old clothes. There wasnt anything there that I liked. Well, at least the clerk was friendly and it was near a Walmart that I stopped by on my way home.

Very limited in items and lots of junk thats overpriced. Staff is pleasant and easy going, and as they say one mans trash is the others treasure

Gotta love Goodwill. If youre the type that is skeptical about purchasing second hand clothing, have no fear! A good wash will do the trick and its like its been yours all along! Im big on thrift, and I always think Im not gonna find anything I like when Im looking around, but I always end up finding something really neato for like 5 bucks. Whether it be a really chic black cocktail dress, or a XL vintage Whitney Houston Tshirt, its always a good surprise for a really great price.

Employees there are so rude. I really hate it there and it smelled like poop in the whole store ( like actually) and the manager was so disrespectful to me and accused me of stealing and just such a bad environment I hate it there. Don’t go there lazy disgusting disrespectful rude people. * also all of my friends that were with me hated it as well and the manager and other employees were also very rude to them. Any of these reviews that say good employees must have just been there when the manager wasn’t or when there was different people because we weren’t doing anything wrong just browsing.*

The deals are great but the amount of bins that are completely unorganized is overwhelming. We left pretty quick after showing up. Not your normal goodwill. Clothes only.

Overpriced. Items are used, and should be priced to sell. This is a second hand store, not Dillards. Donations are piled up in back, as if no one is taking them inside to sort and distribute.

My daughter had a bad experience there. The woman on the floor was very rude. There is no sense with being rude to people going there to buy their stuff. I am sure she would have bought something if it wasnt for the woman making her feel not welcomed. She need customer service training and also a secret shopper.

This is my absolute favorite Goodwill location in the Austin area. Friendly staff, always helpful and I find some of the coolest things.

Pretty good collection if youre looking for fun vintage stuff that isnt marked up in price. Not lots of designer or brand name merch, but fun to look around if youre into old fashioned hidden treasure thrifting.
